FSH + Arcane Stream
Except, according to this, SoL and Arcane Stream won't stack. Which I'm pretty damned sure they do.

Godswords- Outdated?
Um. I'm no expert on medieval weaponry, but maces tend to be something you smack people with. Blunt weapon-ish. Not "stab-and-rip-guts-out" weapon. I'm pretty sure I actually heard of the romans or something using a shortsword to do that with. Just don't ask me to cite that  Still, I can't make a good argument that the blade isn't ridiculous.

MTK QUESTION
I'd go for 10 on herbs and 5 on maples.... coal isn't a bad choice if you want something more steady, as maples really depends on the tree seeds. Maples DO however, yield more income on average then coal...

Godswords- Outdated?
Frankly, I think that blade would be good to stab someone with, if you have enough strength to pierce the opponent with the entire blade, then rip it back out. If that was done with one of those blades, you'd rip half of somethings torso out...

Korasi's Sword vs. Dragon Scimitar
*looks at stats of sword* *looks at stats of d scimmy* K, higher str, higher slash, higher stab. How is it NOT better then d scim for str training? Only other str training (excluding SS/chaotic) weapons are more "specialty" weapons, like obsidian weapons with berserker necklace, dharoks. Not like it (the sword) costs much. I can think of other alternatives, but I see no reason not use the sword. SS is a bit overpriced anyways imo, and chaotic is fairly far out of reach of the average player imo.

OMG YOUR TOO OLD FOR RUNESCAPE
19 this month. You know, (I think) according to Jagex, the main demographic of RS players are my age. Or like 16+ or something. Definitely higher then 12-14, which a lot of people think. (At least according to what I think Jagex thinks >.>)

200 hours of fishing.
Can't the two of you just end the freaking argument over a quest with a 90+ requirement? Too damned hypothetical since IT WILL NOT HAPPEN unless Jagex slowly, very slowly, works their way up there. For that matter, you should looking at bursting or something, seeing as todays quest leads us to (I think) the highest skill req in a quest, 80 magic. One of the highest anyways. And on that note, why can't the two of you discuss something involving 99 fishing that simply doesn't involve it being a direct requirement for a quest? A quest reward perhaps, a miniquest, a "bonus" quest..... Sheesh. If people did stuff on RS that they ENJOYED, and NEVER grinded for higher levels for whatever reason (exp, levels, skillcape, ranks - you might enjoy the result but I can't see you enjoying the process) RS would have skill levels max out at probably 70. Or maybe 50. *smacks you both with a fish* Btw, I grinded to 99 fishing to get that special fish to smack you guys with. Hmm. You - singular. Guys - plural. That can't be grammatically correct...

Curse my Own Stupidity
Your not the first person to die and lose stuff, and you won't be the last. It's also very hard to think levelly when your panicking to get your stuff back. Like All said, we've all been there.

Merchant Clans
I see signs that there WAS manipulation; almost no other reason items crash like that, except for big game-changing updates, of which I can't think of any that would cause it to crash.

CLS or CStaff
I think those are both horrible ideas. Personally, I'd get the C-staff.

Godswords- Outdated?
Well, i actually looked it up and it turns out kings ransom was released a month before god wars dungeon, making the case that because prayer use became bearable, whip has always been the better weapon for all the boss monsters, meaning that godswords have been outdated since their release- they've always been special weapons, and more or less second rate at that. What in the hell does kings random have to do with Godswords? And frankly, yes, whip has been the best weapon, hands-down, for general monster killing/slaying since it came out, up till Dunge anyways. GS had its uses when it came out. They still have a few uses.

Im the boss
I hope to God your being sarcastic. Also, you should cut ivy, not magics. Yeah.

Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
You continue to assume that efficiency is IMPOSSIBLE to attain' date=' without being bored. SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Citation needed to prove this is true of efficient players. 5.) It does' date=' according to my style of play. I am an achievement player. Making, meeting, and exceeding goals is what I play for, in large part. If I achieve more, for less, in a shorter amount of time, then other players, I AM better, by definition. The definition of Better is, among other things: To surpass or exceed, More highly skilled or adept, More useful, suitable, or desirable. Hmm. Once again, I am better in the game. This has nothing to do with my real life standing, my "worth", etc. 9.) Do you really mean this? So, you are for allowing anything, as long as it is in the rules? I should hold you to this. From now on, you have NO excuse to complain against anything which is within RS rules, and Jagex ToS. No more complaining about 76k'ers, rushers, etc. 10. Really gotta disagree with #3 there. Your contradiction implies EVERY SINGLE PLAYER spends the time to calculate gp/exp. THAT is simply "not true." Actually, so it saying that the calculations are easy - some people find math harder then others, lack the innate mathematical ability that makes it simply, or could be too young to be good at it yet. Or, on that note, mentally disabled. And frankly, people could just be too lazy. Back in pre-GE days, if you spent enough at Camelot, you'd probably wander into someone wondering what 1k flax is worth at 100gp. Yeah. #7. I think the fact she was getting at is, although you may be elite, that doesn't mean you look-down and insullt people who aren't as "elite" as you. #9. Mostly good points, except for 76k'ers. Frankly, the only real reason that 76k'ing isn't against the rules is that there is no bureaucratic way to enforce anti-76k'ing, because the line between 76k'ing and not can be very blurry. The concept of wearing 76k and having another person kill you so they can profit, or vice-versa, is actually against the spirit of the game and frowned upon by Jagex last I checked; but like I said, it's not enforceable.

Who is the Dark Lord of the elves?
Actually, all the gods hate Zamorak because of how he defeated one of them. Same reason all the gods are pissed off at Zanik - they're the gods, despite whatever other conflicts they have with one another, the respect everyones godhood. And get annoyed when someone upsurps one of them. He was banished once he became a god, and subsequently came back and started the godwars. He's just as banished from Gielinor as saradomin is. Can't see it being zaros, he's tied up with Azzandra way over east. Er. Why would they be working on bringing him back? Until recently, he was AROUND in the first place. And then we killed him. I find it doubtful they started working on bringing back their dark lord after we beat the underground pass.... Frankly, after reading and considering things, my money is that it's someone that has yet to be intoduced.

Depends what you consider high level. Most grandmaster quests, are in my opinion, tailored to high level players. They may not have elite requirements, but they have elite content (or should). I highly disagree. The upcoming quest will apparently have the highest requirements of any quest, and they're all in the 70s (and 80 magic). That's not even close to 99. High-level is at least 90. There are no quests with elite content, and I doubt this upcoming quest will change that. Why do we need quests with 90+ requirements on quests? Don't tell me we need elite content/quests/whatever, tell me the practical purpose of a 90+ req on a quest. Or 99. Or why you can arbitrarily decide what "high level" is. I can easily give you the practical purpose for NOT having a quest with 90+ requisite. It will annoy questers who don't have the req for it. Jagex can't immediately make a 90+ quest requirement, because a lot of people will lose their questcapes. I don't care what YOU think about this; from Jagex's perspective, it would be a completely stupid move to piss off that many customers. Jagex IS slowly making the reqs for the questcape harder you know. But they CAN'T do it all at once, because pissing off your customers is not widely regarded as a smart business strategy, if nothing else. Or to put it another way.... Which basically means* that you CAN have a quest with a 97 requirement, Jagex just needs to slowly work their way up there. *Well, that's how I interpreted it. tracctid, please correct me if I'm wrong. To paraphrase something I posted earlier... And again, don't see why we can't just have 90+ content a reward from a quest instead of a requirement. Kinda like the Adaze, but better. Or a mini-quest or extra quest (I mentioned fur 'n seek wishlist and ghostly robe mini-quest as examples) that have 90+ reqs. Jagex can put in stuff like that because questers won't whine about losing their questcape. Whether you like it or not, Jagex just can't put in high reqs on quests people too many questers will whine. Say what you want about it, that's the truth of the matter. Perhaps you could have a quest where you impress someone with cooking; by either going around RS collecting ingredients for some special dish, or by showing off your cooking skillcape. There's a variety of ways to include 90+ stats in quests, just not in the requirements themselves. (Or, for that matter, unwritten requirements. Try Underground Pass at 20 agility. Or Olaf's quest at ~56 agility the day it came out. I did both those things and it didn't work....)

Did you kill Nomad the first day the quest was out, or did you have the benefit of other people's experience? Because one definitely has the advantage over the other. Just like Fight Caves are easy --now. The first day they were out nobody could figure out how to beat them. It's easy to sit back after other people have figured out a general strategy and pooled together information that can help formulate strategies through their own trials and errors. So yes, unless you killed Nomad the first day (or with a reasonable lack of knowledge or strategy after the first day) I'm calling BS. Not saying you couldn't beat him easily, it's just 5-10 sounds a lil high. But, I don't know first hand what someone with chaotic gear, overloads, maxed combat stats can do. Also, I'm level 120+, I DO (did) think Nomad was hard... I'm a quester, first few times I fought him I had no idea what I was up against. Although, once I actually figured out a strategy to beat him, it wasn't too bad. well the main point of my post was to show that now we have the luxury of all these things, back when i first killed nomad i had none of that, things like rapier werent out if i were to kill nomad now it would be a hell of alot eaiser than when i did it on day 1 thats why the newest grandmaster quest boss should be much harder, since theres much better stuff available now I agree. Personally, I think grandmaster quests are hardly worthy of being the most difficult quests. There should be at least two more tiers -- elite and legendary quests (yes, I know there would be confusion between legendary quests and Legends' Quest). Elite should require 80-90 skills, legendary should require 90+ and have incredibly difficult bosses. Frankly, I could care less about people who think they're entitled to their quest capes. Quests should never have limits as far as difficulty and skill requirements. Regarding the idea of quests with a 90+ requirement... That's nice that you have that dream. Unfortunately, because of questcapes, Jagex can't massively increase the stats for them, without fairly large ranting. (Just one of the many ways skillcapes changed RS. Wouldn't be nearly such a big problem without the cape. Then again, without skillcapes, there probably wouldn't be as many people with skills in the 90+ range wanting a quest in the 90+ range....) So, anyways, for better or for worse, 90+ skill reqs on quests won't happen; at least not until Jagex slowly works up the skill reqs that high. (Getting there with magic. But, I have 98. So.) Not saying Jagex won't release content requiring such high levels, but it won't be in the form of a quest. (Again, unless quest reqs slowly work their way up that high.) Have all you people wanting a high level quest with 90+ stats forgotten there could be other ways for 90+ content? On that note, why didn't anyone arguing against a 90+ req on a quest have the imagination to come up with the thought that "here's a piece of 90+ content that isn't a quest." Also, I'm being very strict with the word Quest. Quest, in this case, ONLY applies to quests listed in the quest log you need for a questcape. It doesn't apply to bonus quests (such as part 2 of that Fun 'N Seek quest) or the Ghostly mini-quest. (In fact, Fun 'N Seek is a perfect example of this, because the slayer requirements to beat the wishlist on that quest are/were higher then the reqs for the actual questcape.) I encourage content for (bringing up the classic example) 97 fishing, it just can't be a "quest" in the strictest sense of the word. And frankly, why not have a quest that requires say, 65 fishing to do, but one of the rewards is something really useful that only 97+ fishers can use? Sorta like the Adaze, except make it more useful then that. Oh, and fyi, (please don't ask me to quote where Jagex said this, I won't quote it, so if you don't want to believe me then don't) but I'm pretty sure Jagex has a grandmaster quest with an 80+ req for most sklls.

Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
Liked the fictional :) And the DYK was amazing =O (Although I suspect it only exists 'cause Jagex hasn't realized it...) The efficiency article was okay... I didn't like the part where everyone started getting split up into categories. You just can't do that with people. Because people don't fit perfectly in one box or another. Plus, the "average" player line annoyed me. How would you possibly know what that was o_o

Primal rapier and Berserk (Ring customize)
Plus, not all monsters have low def. Rapier is really inaccurate and sucks on higher def monsters.

Skiller
For style, honestly, the clothes shop in Varrock now has a ton of choices. Oh, and I'd reccomend sticking to Ivy for 99wc.

1st October, 2010: Behind the Scenes - October
I have 70+ all stats, 98 magic. 70+ isn't specific enough for me. How MUCH higher then 70 are they o_o (Oh, don't have 70 dunge yet. But that won't be in the quest.) Nomad's Requiem: Level 75 Magic Level 70 Prayer Level 66 Mining Level 65 Hunter Level 60 Construction Not exactly very high levels needed, lol what a noob grandmaster quest. Oh wait you gotta kill Nomad. killing nomad is piece of cake dude, hardly what id call grandmaster, so yea it was a noob quest 1. i doubt ther will be a nomad in this quest 2. nomad's req took high combat 3. nomad was still a piece of junk, i downed him first try in a few minutes then left, im pretty confident i could kill 5-10 nomads in 1 trip right now Not every has overloads, soulsplit. Not to mention 98 summon or near-maxed melee. Even then, I'm still calling BS on you. And how does 70+ stats read mid-level quest to you? It shouldn't... Probably. As best as I can tell, the main purpose of this will allow skillpures to effectively gather charms. They made a bolded note out of that o_o (Yeah I know your not technically a skill pure, but still :P You can't melee/mage for them judging by your siggy) I think you should quit RS and find a game with harder bosses. No, really. Sorry if that comes up as obnoxious, but you want people to solo Corp to keep their questcape?

Tomorows October
I don't believe you, but I'd be happy with those updates. Not that I really believe him, but it sounds semi-plausible o_O In fact, the least likely fact seems to be his father working for jagex imo o.O I'm hoping for a good quest. :wall: All I really want ATM is Halloween stuff. And the hope its cool. :S EDIT: ooh I forgot about the guranteed content poll. I voted for something else, but the ring hopefully won't be too bad... I know enough about programming to know it's stupid to assume they'd release the results of the guaranteed content poll less then a month afterwards. Unless they made all the models already, which would be stupid. 4x the work for no real gain. I mean, they had a guaranteed content poll for halloween already - in the summer...

what to lvl?
There's a list somewhere, google it and ye shall find.... But that's a bad idea. Really. I got my questcape mostly by doing quests for their rewards, especially the experience they give. Just do them quest at at time, work for the levels you need.... also, do quest planning with experience rewards. For instance, doing quest A will give you enough exp for level x, allowing you to do quest B.

How to obtain Dwarven Stout(m)?
I think I got them from the GE once, after buying for several weeks >.> Best bet is to brew them with "The Stuff" But I'm not sure if you can boost nomads quest

Nomad: what prayer?
I disagree. Although he can hit through prayer, I found that protect from magic made a difference for the fight. As for his berserker stage, he's obviously using melee there, so pro melee. *looks up your stats* Hmm, according to your profile, you CAN use soul split o_o Might be a better idea then pro mage - although for berserker stage I still recommended pro melee.
