If summoning charms were tradable...
If summoning charms were tradeable, summoning would just be an uber-expensive and fast skill to train. Collecting the charms yourself makes you put some WORK into it, outside of running to and from the obelisk, which really isn't work, at least not with the exp rates you get.

Favourite Godsword
Your asking people what their favorite godsword is. It's even a bloody poll. So of COURSE it's a questionaire.

Favourite Godsword
I like the SGS, but alas it's one of the things I sold for my h'ween. Not sure if I'll ever replace it - I'd rather beat elite seers first, at which point I wouldn't need it nearly so much - if at all. Plus I have a Uni, so the only time SGS might be useful to me is in multi if I'm using a geyser titan. And as someone else pointed out, you can still hit 0s with it. Personally, I think it should have a guaranteed hit of 1lp regardless, or just always restore 100lp and 5 prayer. Between extremes/overloads, turmoil/piety, maxed combat.... there's not much you actually need the accuracy of a godsword for, at least for very high level players. Most of those would rather try to get a chaotic anyways. Incidentally, to the above posters, ZGS still has it's niche use at Sara GW. A few people like it for PVP (mostly safe PVP) because for whatever reason, these few people like freezing their opponent. And yeah, AGS has some pk'ing uses, mostly because it protects over a lot. Dragon claws are probably better, but a lot easier to lose. (Works for me, I hunt TDs....)

Cannon till 99 Range - Advise?
I know I've heard people swear that a higher range bonus makes you more accurate with the cannon. I'm afraid that's the only question I can answer.

Important efficiency question
Actually, your first post was ambiguous. It could mean "I get 1.5m a hour, + money from merching, netting me a total of 1m-2m a day" OR "I get 1.5m an hour, + 1m-2m eevery day from merching." Incidentally, I don't suppose you want to share this method? lol

Wilderness Idea
Yeah. Let's put in PK'ers on the way to F2P clan wars and while doing Summers End.... No. Since the wilderness stopped being dangerous, Jagex has put in more content in the wilderness; this content only works if people can go in the wilderness without fear. Revs may be dangerous to some, but for a lot of high level players is just a matter of bringing dhide, some food, maybe a couple potions. And honestly, implement this, you have clanwar arena crashing clans that would find out when clans are having a war at the clanwars arena, and attack them on their way there. I'm sorry, I just can't see how a truly dangerous wilderness would work with how the game is now. I'd say Summers End was the nail in the coffin tbh. You CAN'T have that quest there and have pk'ers in the area. Just doesn't work. Plus, there'd probably be a lot of negative feedback from the non-PVP community. People who LIKE clues w/o the threat of pk'ers. People who like killing stuff in the wilderness volcano - I'm pretty sure that dungeon is technically part of the wilde, not that you ever see revs there. Or hunting wilderness penguins, as another example...

Do we really need 1337 people?
-
New Tip.it Site Icon?
If it ain't broken, don't fix it. According to that, yes, does have to be something wrong with it.

New Tip.it Site Icon?
Yeah, they should use the pika-tips one more often.

9-Nov-2010 - Bank Op and Equip Screen Update (BOAESU)
Because the customer service team doesn't talk to the website team, so simple changes are incredibly difficult when reported. Then maybe they should talk to one another o.O I still agree with the people doing the math, the damage soak is negligible. I hope they nerf them, maybe have them do what the KB said in the first place? Make it a flat reduction, if only on hits over 200. Not on the DAMAGE over 200. And yeah, like the gas mask :D
-
9-Nov-2010 - Bank Op and Equip Screen Update (BOAESU)
Basically, how the shield works, it takes the base damage. Subtract 200 LP from that. From whatever remains, multiply it by 14% or 7%, depending on the attack style and your shield. THAT number then gets subtracted from the hit and that's truly what is absorbs. Ex. 400 damage. Subtract 200. *14 =28. Actual damage is 482. So, basically the absorption sucks. How often do you get hit 400+ anyways.
-
Spirit Shields - They won't be beaten
Problem is, as it has been pointed it, it's damage absorbing effect is so low it has virtually no effect. If they did what players thought they did in the first place, might be useful. Or take the 14% and 7% or whatever reduction % it is, but apply that to all hits. Either that, or honestly BOOST ALL THE DEFENSIVE STATS INTO THE 100 RANGE to make them worth it. K, maybe less for mage, but still. Give them uber stats OR make the damage absorption do something.

9-Nov-2010 - Bank Op and Equip Screen Update (BOAESU)
Or just make the reductions not, you know, suck. Flat rate of 10% and 20% reduction. Powerful, yes, but we need some damned powerful defense in this game at times. And chaotic items SHOULD be powerful.

Manage Thy Kingdom
10 herb, 5 maple. I think coal is more consistent then maples for money (you get X coal as opposed to nests with seeds, with the seeds being more random.) Overall though, I LIKE my tree seeds, alot. Just wish I could trade in the spirit seed you get every now and then for a magic seed.

9-Nov-2010 - Bank Op and Equip Screen Update (BOAESU)
Dude. Gas mask IS awesome. The old one looked like modern gear. The new version looks like some medieval stuff I've seen that plague healers or something actually wore. Irl. A few centuries ago. The bank update looks nice imo.

Where should I level up?
Slayer. Or maybe green dragons, pretty good money. Dragons are fairly crowded though. You'd have to ask someone other then me for more exact details, as I don't think "somewhere in the chaos tunnels" is particularly helpful to a new member. But I'd go with slayer. Er, beat Lost City if you haven't. Use either Chaldear in Zanaris or Vannaka in Edgeville dungon I'd say. Probably Chaldear. Um, get a whip if you can, if not try and beat Monkey Madness for d scim o.O P.S. I hope you have at least 43 prayer.

F2P Melee is overpowered
. . . . . PotAto. PotAHto. TomAto. TomAHto. I can't say it any clearer then that.

Boosting for a couple diaries.
Summon can't be boosted either, and I reccomend stews for a +4 boost to anything but summon/prayer, at least for higher level stats. Getting +4 with a stew isn't too bad.

Which Do You Leave On.
I turn pretty much everything off. Wyverns aren't off probably because I haven't gone it and out of that cave enough. One warning I wouldn't turn off is PVP world. Those can be more dangerous then anything else in RS, and probably the thing your most likely to do by accident. Anywhere else, I know where I'm going. Also, any light source warnings that DON'T appear when I actually HAVE a lightsource I wouldn't mind keeping on. Something that only interrupts me if I NEED it. Edit: a lightsource warning that only appears if you don't have a lightsource, not the freaking "take a tinderbox because your bullseye lantern won't go out." Although there was that one scarabas quest that had mages put it out...

Memorizing
One tip, break it into chunks and memorize the chunks. Work on one chunk at a time. The reason to do this is if you memorize it all together, you'll end up saying it all at once, and get REALLY good at the first part of it, because your constantly saying that, but be less good at stuff later on.

fastest way to 80 magic
I'd say burst rock lobs. Good guide here in the Archive of Wisdom. Also great crims and hp exp.
-
Would it all stack?
Yeah, but isn't Void mage useless anyways? 'o.O Void mage increases magical attack, but doesn't increase damage.
-
Money making
You could try Barrows or TD's. For dragons, best bet is probably a war tortoise. There's a popular, crowded, bot infested spot in the CT somewhere. Apparently if you drop a nature rune in a nearby room it distracts the bots o.O

good way to get junk?
Why do you want junk? Never understood it, I've always seen it as something to get rid of. Unless you can make more "GP" per hour off of junk then actual cash.... Um, if anything, the guy who said join a merch clan. Then you know what will be forced to rise, buy that item then junk sell it before it crashes....?

What if World of Warcraft WOW was free?
Once you actually have all that stuff, maxed combat, all the good dunge items, max herb/prayer, I don't think there's much in the game that offers a challenge. Maybe Solo Corp. I've thought for a while that Jagex needs to release a good, high level boss geared towards the use of, say, someone leeching all the bosses stats, everybody else with say turmoil, all using chaotic weapons and overloads, AND STILL BEING CHALLENGING. One problem with bosses in general is that once you know how to beat it, it becomes easy. Other problem, more RS specific, outside of Dunge there's no player limit. So if a boss is hard, nothing stopping you from getting 20 people to pwn the crap outta it. Personally....I dunno what I'd do. Think I'd stick with RS, because like someone said, going from High leve -> low level. Learning a new game. I'd rather continue my overall RS goal of becoming a pwnage mage, then start it over in WoW.
