He's duoing, obviously they can't really welfare since you take so much damage. I don't see a point with rocktails when he uses overloads so he can take brews instead. I find familiars too much of a hassle even though it might be actually worth it. Darklight is really absolutely not OK when duoing, you need as much defense reduction as you can so you need to be on lunars. Take turns bringing your own SWH, and have the other person energy transfer to you. Pray melee and turmoil at all times, and flick soul split. Erm. With extremes came spec restore potions. What am I missing?

Dragons are P2P. The only exception is Elvarg. I'd have to say that the eggs and roots are probably ONLY worth it on F2P. Also, killing hills for big bones in F2P is lucrative last time I checked. And Zokot, your basically telling someone to beat Desert Treasure once he get members. And 50 construction. That's what you need for a Canifis portal.... Typically not easy for a brand new F2P'er. Also, the 66(?) magic requirement might be a little high to him. I'd say for P2P, herbs/green drags are probably your best bet. Although drags are really crowded. Hills are good on F2P (I think) because of big bones and limps.

I think I saw a solo Corp vid once where the guy took a packyack and dismissed it right inside the cave or something. Might be worth looking into if you think you can stand cycling items on the floor so they don't disappear. Or kill him in well under 2 minutes and shuffle between spawns.

Why is it not supposed to happen? Mages can wear melee armor and soak range damage, can't they? Also, i think people are overthinking with the damage absorptions- The dungeoneering shields really suck, and they'll likely have the highest single item values for those(apart from ely/divine). So yes, while you could get like 30% damage absorbed(with full armor), a 50 from magic would still be 41. And get -20 Mage Bonus. Not only does like 90% of mage bonus come from your ARMOUR, but melee armour has negative mage attack. For many armour combinations, 100% of your melee bonuses come from your weapon. Or a defender, which you can wear with hides. Other items that give attack bonuses for melee (such as fire cape, onyx ring, barrow gloves) aren't class specific anyways; and can still be worn with hides. Er, what do you MEAN a magical ranged attack? Magic hits from a distance like mage o.O Really wonder what the damage soaking will be like. Especially considering the DG shields. But it's also possble Jagex realized they suck, but that the concept is useful, so they're increasing the DG shields as well as armour in general. Who knows. Did you READ about it, exactly? "snowball fighting, snowman decorations, ice skating and even more seal sliding!" I don't get the impression we'll be doing much inside there. Of course, we don't know how they'll implement it, but still. From the sounds of it I wouldn't be worried. Think it'd be great if the GW bosses got some absorbtion too. As someone mentioned, Jagex is hesitant about bosses because DG is supposed to satisfy our boss demands; but half of boss killing is drops, which you don't get in DG. Maybe the occasional primal drop, bind it, end of story. Nothing sellable or useable in any type of PVP scenario. Not to mention DG made bosses even easier, a long with curses, extremes, etc. I've said this before, we need new bosses tailored to those types of players. Hell, except for Corp which eats summoning familiars, we haven't had a new boss since before summoning came out.

I dunno, I never have trouble with bank space. The only time it's full is when I train RC. (ZMI/bank all the runes)

From the sounds of it, it will. They said they're ADDING THIS to most head, leg, body and shield pieces. High grade armour gives better absorbtion and P2P gets the best absorption of all. This means rune armour and such will have it. Although, considering they're STILL working with the +200LP thing, it's rather useless for lower tier armour, because chances are you won't be hit 200+ lp. Well, maybe pures. Wonder if this update will make pures ineffective? According to Jagex (don't ask me to quote this, I won't, so don't believe me if you don't want to) Pures aren't supposed to be that good; their increased offense is supposed to be matched by decreased defense. And other players defense is supposed stop enough of their attacks to make them on equal grounds. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! My poor TDs!

Orrrrrrrrrrrrr they just make it common enough so that doesn't happen? I mean, it happens to pretty much any new item in the first couple months, but still. This only happens if they release something with the drop rate of a divine lol. I still think the idea of chaotic shields was a perfect fix for the defense problem, at least the concept of how the shields work; er, how people originally thought they worked. If something hits over Y damage, and Y > X, the damage is reduced and the new damage is Y * Z. Basically, damage absorption for high hits, which shouldn't unbalance too much PVM. Maybe a couple bosses, but Jagex could always put some sort of restriction on these items. Causes GW bosses to hit more for some reason, not allowed in the fight caves, maybe not the corp cave either. Maybe I'll try pk'ing with it, so far I've always failed....ice barrage or venge + koraskis ;)

How profitable are yew bows.... I think I did that once, think it was profitable....still, if I get needles, I only need like 2300 maple (u) for 78. How many needles would I need for 320k exp?

Still don't see the point in the c bow. Frankly, if your gonna switch weapons for jad go with diamond. Although, my Jad kill ended with somewhere around 50/80ish ranged and (I think) using the same crystal bow I started with rather then the fresh one from my invent.... Also, good luck! I actually had to heal more from the healers then from Jad... o.O

Personally, I like the spear more because I can use controlled with differing combat types.... but yeah, the spear kinda sucks because you can't use it with any of the classes, so I'll admit the 2h is probably better....

Planning to train fletching from 75-78. I was planning to make maple longbows (u), is this a good option? Note: I cannot make broad bolts. And I'm not going to unlock it anytime soon, mainly because I don't intend to do slayer anytime soon.

Personally, I'd go with Ice Burst, constantly potting with the Wolpe seems like a pain to me. Although, you could always try taking runes for both and seeing if you can stand barraging or not, if money is no issue.

Or people start doing the floors backwards to get the high level drops first o.O What I want is for them to give us a damn toolbox at the start of every Dunge. A DG "bank" to switch up items would be appreciated, but frankly the current bind system works. I mean, a person could say use hexhunter with sag p++ arrows one DG, and the next use a surgebox with a celestial staff. Atm I have 99 mage but I'd never bind a celestial staff because it wouldn't be worth it over my other binds. However, if we could swap out binds I'd definitely like one.
