Things from other games that would and wouldn't work in RS?
Your Random Dungeon idea was mentioned in an old Behind the Scenes artical, which means that Jagex is working on it. Many people believe that that was the In Aid of the Myreque mini-game for after you complete that quest. I honestly don't think that, because it's fairly predictable as to what will happen.

Low-Leveled Members?
It's a player's choice when to buy members, whether they're "skilled" at this game or not (by our standards at least). If they don't know much about the game, then that's what the Skill Tutors are for.

Course, when was the last "translation?"

Kill Nested Quotes
That would mean that people would have to do additional work towards their posts. They'd have to take the automatic actions of the Quote button and change them so that clicking the button didn't have them breaking the rules. Perhaps it should be said that you should not nest more than 2 quotes if those quotes go off the same page. What I mean is if you are quoting on the same page, only nest like maybe the last 2 quotes, but if you fall off the page, them maybe leeway for 3 nested quotes would be allowed...

Yes they do. So the only difference would be what Board the front-page items would link to. They would still link to the appropriate news clipping however.

"What forum is a certain person searching atm?" or
There is another forum I browse for a TCG I play, and they have something like this. http://www.xerocreative.com/forums/index.php?showuser=237235 That is a link to a specific Moderator's profile on there. Scroll down to about half way down the screen and you will see "Status: On/Off" and if it's at On, then you see (Active in {forum name here}). Given, this is using Invision Power Board, not whatever Tip.It is using. So the technology is definately out there, the question is can our forums support it?

Hidden Updates General P2P Subforum
Your probably right. Ive been thinking for a while what else could go in there, but to no avail. Perhaps all updates in general? If anyone wants to post a comment about an update, they could make a thread in there, providing there wasn't one already made about that topic. What could be done is when a new update comes out, official "Rants About (NEW UPDATE)" and "Compliments About (NEW UPDATE)" could be made, and after 2 weeks or so, the threads are removed. Then a Hidden update thread could be made and updated every week. People could make threads about updates they find, and since it would be cleaned out every week, it wouldn't necessarily cause a big spam problem, providing everyone didn't post the exact update... But when has that ever happened? :-k

Tip it quote
Tip.It is not in direct control of what sites are advertised in their banner ads. If you find an offensive/illegal-activity-promoting advertisement, I believe there is a topic in Website Discussion & Suggestion or Website Updates & Corrections where you can report them.

Lets get RuneScape rated top game of JANUARY 2007 on MPOGD!
Runescape just popped into the top 5 of the list, tied with Lands of Hope with 32 votes. We're only 22 votes away from #1 now.

Herblore and smithing
If you really set your mind to it, probably. I'd estimate the plates and potions would probably take you around an hour each, which leaves plenty of time to do the other quests if you work on them continuously.

56+agility
Well *IF* you completed Monkey Maddness, you should definately use that course. Otherwise, you probably will want to use the Brimhaven arena and collect tickets for the bonus stuff after you get at least lv45 Agility. If not, use the Barbarian Course (have fun with the Bar Crawl). Once you reach level 52, use the Wilderness Course until you get level 56. You really don't need to bring food to the Wilderness Course, although bringing a few things might help for the skeletons out there. You can't actually die from the obsticals, but the skeletons hit 3s, and if you get hit those a couple of times (since you probably won't have armor with you), you most likely will die.

Points from poison or ring of recoil
Poison damage and Ring of Recoil Counter-Damage does not give XP. This is because these are not the direct result of you attacking another person. The Poison is inflicted when you hit, but does not necessarily immediately take affect. Poison is more or less supposed to be a last-chance thing, where if you don't succeed in killing the person, then the poison might finish the guy off for you. Ring of Recoil also doesn't work like that because it's jewelry, not Combat items.

Do you report your friends?
It really comes down to the point of "Are they still your friends now?" If they tried to hack your account, and admitted it, then they are a theif and I would openly report them because they admitted to trying and betray my trust. Same goes with Item Scamming: they took my items and won't give them back, they don't deserve to even keep the account, let alone the item. If it's something minimal, like swearing, of course I wouldn't report them (I hardly report people for offensive language anyways), and I'd probably be using the same language right back (minus censor avoiding if they did that).

Funniest Thing to Leave a Lurer?
I so need to do that... Really what I should do is get a full inventory of them, then take them out to the mage bank and wait to get pked... then see what kind of reaction those pkers get...

which would you rather have?
Don't ask why, but I did the math on this (and I'm sure some other people have too). A Purple Party Hat is worth ~150m (probably less). If you sold this and bought as many Oak Planks as you could with it, you'd have 300k Oak Planks. If you put those all to construction, you'd have 18m XP earned, which is more than enough for 99 Construction. In actuality, you only need 220k Oak Planks (rounded from ~217k for simplicity sake). That's worth (at 500ea) 110m, which means you'd still have 40m left over. Upon doing this math, I'm sure almost everyone is now going to say they'd want a Purple Party Hat.

max hits!
My best was about 32 w/ Whip, 80-some strength (I think 80 or 81), Dragon Battle-Axe and Prayer. According to the Max Hit Calculator, now that I am 82stg, my max should be 34 under the same setup, 38 while using Dharok's Greataxe, and 57 if at 1hp (79HP lost).

Is this bannable?
Jagex can't and won't ban you if you swear and what you say is caught by the censors. The Offensive Language report only works for those who either spam the chat screen with Auto-talkers or the likes, or if you purposely evade the censor. That moderator was lying, and you can't get in trouble for threatening to attack someone if you are able to, nor can you get in trouble by threatening someone with a specific attack, so long as the attack is runescape related, even if you can't carry out the attack.

farming
My method will probably be to farm at the Draynor patch, and bring a Hatchet and Tinderbox/Knife with me to train my Woodcutting and Firemaking/Fletching, whichever I so desire. I'd probably end up planting a small plant, even potatoes if I wanted considering I still have 800+ seeds from when farming first came out. I'd just sell those to the local Farming store and come back and keep planting. Of course, I'd be using Lunar Magic for Plant Cure and Compost, just to keep it going faster (rather than waiting an entire hour for new compost to form, and not even have the right stuff to make super compost), and if I really feel gutsy, I may instead use the Catherby spot and bring an ectophial with me and run through Port Phasmatys as well. I doubt I'll try a 4-patch run again (I tried it before but took too much effort), so a 2-patch rotation should work fine.

best pure ranger setup?
Easily. The Robin Hood Hat, Ranger Boots, Crystal Bow, and Fury Amulet would cost the most, but together they probably won't even touch 15m, maybe 20m at absolute most. The other stuff doesn't even touch 1m.

// Worst Runescape Updates of 2006 //
You know... I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or if the moderators have let this one slide, but doesn't this technically break the rules? Either way, to put my two cents in (or three, as the case might be), I'd have to say... EDIT: Crap, I posted what I thought was best updates... Worst Updates: 1) Pure Essence 2) Animal Magnetism 3) Skill Tutors

Most satisfying noise
The sound of an ancient mage attack splashing off of me or a warrior's DDS special clank off my armor in the wilderness :D

how many snowballs do YOU have???
How did you get killed? The monsters can't even attack back... Or did you go into the Volcano dungeon, rather than the event dungeon... There was a snow covered area south of the volcano and you were supposed to go down a well in there.

Whats one of the funniest things thats ever happened to you?
I've been meaning to do that for so long now... EDIT: The monkeys, that is... not the picture... although I've wanted to use it for so long as well...

What would "break" Runescape
Taking out Party Hats: Probably 30% of Runescape is playing for the ultimate goal of owning one Taking out Discontinued Items in general: See "Taking out Party Hats" Taking out Quests: These help people do everything. Without them, not only would Herblore come to a screetching stop (no Druidric Ritual quest to get started), but you also wouldn't have anything to unlock new items with balance to be used (Imagine if everyone could use Ancient Magic at any given time...).
