I disagree with a lot of your points but I'll just focus on your comment about not needing full guthans and NOT even owning it EVER. Prior to summoning, Guthans was a slayer's best friend and enabled a slayer to complete most tasks without the need of any food at all. I know I and all of my slayer friends depended on it alot.

If she was praying, she would not need barrows. Think before you post.us She said Tanking, meaning instead of praying, she's going to take the damage. oops sorry didn't noticed  but honestly , the prayer method is by far the best ;) Again, you posted without thinking. When Tanking, there is no need for prayer pots. In fact when I tank I can stay there for days with my bunyips and don't even need a single piece of food. When my bunyip vanishes, I just tele out to trollweiss, recharge my summ pts and head back in to my spot and summon another bunyip. So, I ask you, is prayer pots still the best method? NOT!!!

Welcome. But it would have been better if you had thought out your first thread a bit better. NOBODY can foretell or foresee when prices will go up or down. It's all up to jagex to set the prices. One can only speculate about the prices. If your only goal is to make money, then sell it now and make a profit.

There is a much cheaper way of lasting longer in GWD than using BTP tabs. Each BTP tab now sells for approx 1.3kgp each. 100 tabs is already 130k gp. I "tank" at the aviansies and need "0" food while I have my bunyip. It lasts over 40 minutes and just tele back out to trollweiss where there is a summ obelisk. Takes less than a minute to get back to my aviansie spot.

I'm not surprised at your response since the only skill cape you have was bought. I respect RC skill cape the most. Eg, aglips, i respect your 99 slayer alot, because it requires effort to achieve that level, but techinally you also bought it, as I highly doubt all your lvls were from your drops or you punching with no armour to that level. You're kidding, right? You seriously think that? I Don't know what your slayer level is but anyone with 99 slayer will tell you that you can make a lot of money just from drops and clues. I was able to buy my mask sets and Partyhats all from slayer.

Unfortunately I don't think it will stop or get less. Remember when people constantly begged for free stuff before the 3k trade limit came out? It's the same thing. People will not stop asking to borrow items as long as it's possible. I just ignore them.
-
And any level 3 with a slayer cape deserves very little respect, because that is far too much no-lifeing with lamps. This statement is so ridiculous since it will be virtually impossible to get to lvl 99 slayer only by using lamps. You need to play more and understand he game better.

I think you need to train your combat skills a bit more and try to learn more about the game/monsters before you take on those laser demons.
-
Getting the same monsters as consecutive tasks is now common after the update. I got abyssal demons as a task 3 times in a row. be thankful you got iron drags instead of 158 Dark beasts 3 or 4 times in a row. That would take a few days to complete!

The Guide to Speed Training - Skeletons, Yaks & More!
aglips replied to Niall_Kay's topic in General Guides
But we're talking about training to certain stats, not training at certain stats. If you have all 99's [or a few 99 stats], killing enemies is obviously easier. However, we're talking about training to certain high stats, not killing monsters when you have good stats, so I really don't see how that's relevant. And yes, I would actually like some numbers. I know you say you don't need them, but if you don't have any facts or figures to support your claim, then it really doesn't mean anything :|. And I'm not talking about when your 99 attack, strength, and defense. I'm talking about the average person looking to raise their stats from all 80's to all 90's and so forth. We're debating ways to train, not how fast someone kills something, remember that. Thanks for making my point. If you had paid attention to what I said from the very beginning, I said skellies are not for the really high combat level player. Nuff said. Enjoy your day. -
Please remember, jagex compared this skill to prayer in multiple ways. It affects combat level the same. And it SHOULD level the same. Prayer is very slow exp and costly as well if you choose to speed things up by buying your bones. Summoning should obviously be the same way. Levelling Prayer is a lot faster than summoning if you a Gilded Altar.
-
Which is exactly what I'm going to do. I'm so close to lvl 99 slayer that I'm not going to stop training slayer just to start summoning. I'll be collecting charms as I train slayer then I'll be a bit ready for summoning once I hit 99 slayer.

You probably can't afford a rare and never had one. And you're right when you say that they look good, which is the reason why I have them and I hope the prices drop some more so I can buy a few more masks.
-
Absolutely WRONG. As you can see from my stats, I'm a legitimate player who like to train skills. I've never merchanted and I have a White and Purple Phat, a santa and mask set. I bought them a long time ago when they were worth a lot more. I like to wear them since they look good. So think before you talk. Rares are bought by all types of players, not just merchants.

Very bright... I reaaaaally hope you haven't gotten the ghostly robes yet, because it is probably going to be impossible now. And don't even start about clue scrolls. Look, the point of runescape is to be fun, and hard (and addicting), BUT NOT FRUSTRATING! REVENANTS ARE FRUSTRATING OKAY! Just because you don't enjoy pking or doing lvl 3 clue scroll doesnt mean that the rest of us don't. Please, show some respect. Get over it. I enjoy PKing and doing level 3 scrolls and have been attacked lots of times by these rvenants and have managed to get away from them.

It's grammar. Ahahaha, when i read that, i was like dude, you need help with your spelling. But i have only seen rev imps, and they hit like 5s at lvl8 i believe. I rarely go into the wildy, mainly because i have nothing to do in there, i'm f2p though. just to warn everyone out there who wants to pick on me for spelling I got an A for English every year from 7-11. I got an A in my GCSE for language and Liturature. That should end all your moans about my English. Not only is your grammar and spelling horrible but you're a terribly bad liar about getting an A in school unless where you're from the grade A is a failing grade. It's GRAMMAR, INTRIGUED AND LITERATURE.
-
Who said it was unfair for other players to have more money. ONLY the lazy beggar say that. To the original poster of this thread, if you spend the same amount of time and effort on training your skills as you did complaining and begging, maybe you'd have more GP by now.

31 December 2007 - Unbalanced Trade Reminder
aglips replied to Jordanweb's topic in General Discussion
 I didnt think of that. That means the trade limit will go up as new quests are out. :D Incorrect. This means that if you want to trade the max possible which is 30k then you would need to keep on completing every quest that's released. You need to complete ALL quests to be able to get the MAX of 10x the amount you're trading. -
The guys was probably having a bad day and could no longer stand your noobish conversation. He found your conversation very irritating.
-
I don't know how you can say that rares are not popular anymore. With the drop in prices, more people are able to afford them now.
-
You must have forgotten about the godswords selling for up to 100M+, Full Draq and Drag Fire Shield. NOT everything is cheap.
-
There are several reasons why more people rc nats instead of deaths. 1. There is a higher demand for nats then deaths due to people hi-alching to train mage. 2. People need to finish MEP2 quest to be able rc deaths. 3. Deaths are a much more common monster drop over nats. 4. Nats prices are usually slightly higher than deaths.

It is Gower, by the way.

A lot of topics you say... hmm pity you couldn't post on one of them, i mean theres plenty of them. I didn't even bother reading it 1) Because ive seen enough of these threads 2) Because its all a load of rubish no matter what you wrote, the reason this is the case is because IT HASN'T BEEN RELEASED. How the hell do you know whats gonna happen, with merchanting until its released. Save your threads UNTILL it is OUT, then post away and i will take time reading it until then can everyone else stop posting these stupid things its getting on my nerves. =D> =D> =D> I totally agree with you. Until GE is released, no ones exactly how it will work. Unless it's one of the Gower brothers posting under an alias. It's really amazing how people like to speculate and act like they know everything when they don't know for sure.
