You might want to try the RSOF and offer more than the max price.

Smithing - Mith plates, Addy bolts, Addy arrows.
aglips replied to mujammil's topic in Help and Advice
Smithing addy bolts/arows will will take you 5x longer than smithing mith platebodies but selling the addy bolts will be a lot easier than the mith plates and you'll get back more of your money if you bought the bars. -
Just keep on killing them. You'll get one eventually. Since they are easy to kill, you most probably won't get it on the first kill. I had to kill about 20 turoths to get the bone from it.

Just wear the best prayer boosting outfit you have, pray melee protect and piety. Bring a p pot, use super att and str pots, tele tab or substitute just in case and fill the rest of your slots with sharks or monks/good food. Ignore the legion of orks for now until you're comfortable enough to fight them too. That should do it for you. Good luck.

How rare is d boots drop? 83+ slayers, please answer
aglips replied to Shepherdman7's topic in Help and Advice
It's random. Can't give you an answer to that. Like you said, you might get lucky and get 4 in 160 kills then 0 for the next 500 kills. I once got 16 d boots in 1 trip of around 600 kills then I got 0 in another trip of approx 300 kills. That's how random it is. It's funny that people still ask this question. -
First of all, you didn't mention how many aberrant spectres you got for your task. It would be safe to take 2-3 p pots(4) initially and wear as much prayer boosting gear you can get your hands on. Don't forget your slayer helm or nose peg. Once you get there and and kill a few you should be able to gauge for yourself how long you can stay there and how many p pots you'll need. Good luck.

I doubt you kill them 3x faster than a whip :P but yh using a ZS and using Stab deals a considerable amount of damamge compared to whip, since your on task i suggest you use his setup, but i would replace the skillcape with a fire cape and the RoW with a onyx (I) ring but thats just me :P Actually its no lie. I had a Slayer next to me using a whip and b the time he finished his kill i was 1 hit away from finishing my 3rd. This did not happen just once. I agree with the gear, I just can't accept your general statement that using a ZS is 3x faster than a whip. There are too many factors to take into consideration like your stats, if you were using str/att super pots and combat boosting prayer and what the other player you're comparing yourself to was using. I've been there a few times myself and used both a whip and ZS and did not see any siginificant difference in either weapon.

It depends on what you prefer. If you have a lot of time then use the ecto. Using a gilded altar is a lot faster and less annoying.
-
You can do it if it's only 1 mith drag. Just wear the appropriate gear, use prayer protection and bring lots of food.
-
With your stats and gear, you'd be using a lot of food/btp tabs. Best to use prayer at your level.

I've spent a lot of time slaying abyssal demons and I have to tell you that hardly anyone mages them. Less than 1% of the people there use mage. In fact, I've only really seen 1 player use mage there in all the years that I've played. I don't know why but people have always meleed on them. For sure there is a very good reason why mage isn't used on abyssal more often. I've never tried maging them so I can't offer any explanation. If you're doing this to train mage, you might as well just train on the rock lobs on waterbirth and stock up on those crimson charms. Good luck.

You can always cancel the task for another task if you don't like it. You should have enough reward points by now to be able to do that.
-
Just buy the whip and stop being so cheap. j/k I doubt that the whip will drop back down to 1.2mil any time soon. So buy it now and start training with it.

This. You can always ranged the big one as well. not sure what your level is though! If you only bothered to check his stats you would have seen that his stats are nowhere close to being able to finish off a blue drag in a reasonable amount of time. He'd be wasting his arrows/bolts and more importantly his time. Kris, baby blue drags are an acceptable slayer monster substitute for a Blue drags and strongly suggest you stick with them at your level.

   I just love it when someone spouts out exact drop rates without any proof to back it up. Don't be hoping for a D drop with your kills. It'll just disappoint you. Stick with iron drags or even spiritual mages if you have the slayer level for them. Just look at it as a bonus when it comes. Good luck.

Who reported you really isn't important. What's important is what you did that got you reported in the first place. Besides, a whole bunch of players may have reported you at the same time.

I wouldn't suggest buying a AGS or white PHAT to lend out since those are the items I lend out and wouldn't want more competitors. J/K Players pay 100k/hr or 1.7mil for 24 hours for my AGS. I've also found borrowers for my white PHAT for 1mil for 24 hours or 60k/hr. It's a very profitable side business since I don't really use my AGS for slayer tasks. And since I'm maxed out on the trade limit, that's 60k in junk I save.

Best place for me to train my agility quickly?
aglips replied to thragon13's topic in Help and Advice
Use the wildy agility course until you get to level 70 then switch to ape atoll. Why level 70? Because I'm almost sure you will not fail any obstacles at level 70. Bring food with you when you go to the wildy agility course only because you might run into some revs. Once you start the course don't eat until your HP is low enough where damage is minimal when you fail an obstacle. Do not bring any weps. Just wear boots of lightness and either a spotted or spottier cape to keep your weight at a minimum. -
Before you can do this, you need to be "learn" how to make broad bolts. Once you learn this from a slayer master (not sure if it's only duradel/lapalok or something) then you can start making the broad tipped bolts just like you make regular bolts. You do know how to make bolts, right?
-
I would say aviansies since it's almost always crowded at the blue drags and you won't have to wait around for aviansies to kill. Another advantage to the aviansies is that it will be more profitable for you and you can camp out there for a long time if you can use btp tabs.

Go pick the pet you least like or the easiest one to get back. After you finish the quest, you can release the broav and start all over. I know it's difficult to part with long-time pets, but you gotta do it. :(

Sell it if you need the cash. It looks a lot nicer than a granite shield too. I kept mine for sentimental reasons. I've had my D Sq for years and even though I now use a DFS, I still have D Sq in my bank.

Thanks for the guide but you're pics aren't working.

Good cheap armour and weapon for green dragon.
aglips replied to henrysslee's topic in Help and Advice
You better use an anti-fire shield rather than a rune defender or you won't last very long at the green drags.
