  1. Then again, since jagex normally doesn't do thanksgiving events, maybe you should be... wait for it... giving thanks?
  2. Lucky for me, I have a pretty easy name: Magician Xy. What I find funny is that instead of calling me by name (Xy), everyone calls me by my title (Magician). It's funny, but harmless. As to the original topic, I only see that when somebody is trying to say one one sentence. They'll type out the first ten words, then the next ten, then finish. Or something like that. Again, pretty harmless.
  3. Yup, cabbage works fine. Wait, it doesn't empty itself when you use it? The whole thing disappears? Does your avatar eat the shell, or what?
  4. I gotta say, I'm loving this emote. It happens when enemies attack you while you're doing the emote.
  5. I can't believe I read the whole thing, too. Anyway, I like this idea. I'm not even member, but if it were an actual quest, I'd look forward to it. The only thing you have to change is the dialogue - it doesn't seem to fit in the style of RS (well, it does, a little, just doesn't flow naturally.)
  6. That's a pretty cool idea. Cooking needs an update to make it more realistic anyway. I mean, making baked potatoes is fine, but for everything else, all you can do is cook. I love the filet idea - how about adding to it, like maybe broiling? Grilling?
  7. Ok, so here I am, playing FoG, looking for my opponent, just like any other game. Today, for whatever reason, my computer was particularly laggy. However, I finally found the red arrow that shows that my opponent is close. I followed it - and was utterly baffled. My opponent had dug into the walls! Has this happened to anyone else? I just think it's funny. I didn't send a report to jagex, since I'm sure it happened because of my laggy computer.
  8. I'M PURE F2P OMG I AM THE MOST AMAZING BECAUSE I GOT A HIGH F2P PRAYER LVL ... ahem... sorry about that. I think there are some things in F2P that are definitely an achievement to get - prayer, for example. F2P get three types of bones to bury: regular, big, and monkey (and no F2P uses monkey bones, so really only two...). P2P gets ectofungus, houses with altars, and whatever else members get, along with many different types of bones. Therefore, I'd say it's an achievement to get 99 Prayer in F2P as opposed to P2P. Same result? Yes. Much, much harder? Hell yes. :D
  9. Okay, so I'm now going on a weird pizza making frenzy. But before I start, I want to know: When you make flour in a windmill, then just leave it there (don't put it into a pot), does it stay there? forever? Cuz then I could just make a ton of flour, and use it for pizzas later. Anyone know?
  10. That elf girl in the first picture... mmm. She can cast a spell on me any day.
  11. Unfortunately from a programming perspective this would take way more time and trouble than it's worth. Not only would the developer have to model every single piece of clothing in the game, he would then have to update the software every time when Jagex releases new clothes or armor (which is about once a month :P ). And that's just the outline of how the program would work; that's not even including the actual programming. which, if done by one individual, would probably take years. If it was done in Flash, with 2d, hand-drawn sprites, it might take less time. It woul'dlook RuneScape-ish, though.
  12. Sweet! I always love seeing the many different outfits of various Tip.It members. Here's me: EDIT: Hehe, forgot to write up the info... Forum Name: magician_xy Runescape Name: Magician Xy Picture: See above
  13. Thank you for your lovely addition to this thread. I'm glad you actually read the thread before posting, since you obviously noted the part where I said Since apparently everyone who reads thread like this one has no morals, I would like this thread to be locked so that further flaming can be prevented.
  14. Wow, okay, I won't report him. I did send a bug report to Jagex, though. I can't believe there are so many people who could give a crap less about the rules here. I expected better of you, Tip.it community. :notalk:
  15. Hey, no need for that. I actually very rarely report stuff, since I figure Jagex isn't going to do anything about it anyway. But bugs in the game is another matter... What if he was duping phats? Would I be a kiss up if I reported him for that? Here's an idea: think before posting. Bug abuse is much worse than calling someone a noob.
  16. Update: I managed to get him to talk about it a little more. He says he found out about this on youtube, but the video is now taken down. I told him about bug abuse, and he kinda panicked, said he'd never thought of it that way. I think it is bug abuse... ANOTHER UPDATE: I found a vid on youtube that tells how to do it. (Obviously, I'm not going to link to it or tell you how I found it, so don't ask #-o ) It's definitely bug abuse. I told the guy not to do it again, or I'm reporting him. I should probably just report him now. He seems like he won't do it again, now that he knows it's bad. But... should I report him anyway?
  17. Ok, I was just in Varrock Square, and this guy caught my attention. He said that he and one other person would get a random event in 3 minutes. I figured, hey, what the heck, may as well watch, see if it actually happens. The waiting part was boring, but worth it. He predicted his event time ON THE DOT, with both predicted people getting a random. I was amazed. Currently, he says he's going to do it again, the random appearing in 10 mins. I'm staying here to see if it happens again. Is this bug abuse? Anyone know what's going on?
  18. I'm not a member, so I don't know what any of that stuff is about, but that banner is just plain AWESOME!!! Evil Skull Demon ftw
  19. I'd say that a skiller is anybody who enjoys training non-combat skills than fighting monsters. By that definition, I'd be a skiller, since I love fishing and cooking a lot better than fighting monsters or (heaven forbid) pking.
  20. Wow, you guys are lucky. Like I said, i've gotten the mystery box a number of times, and every single time (yes, EVERY time, no joke) I've gotten a bucket. :wall:
  21. So, I was wondering... Has anyone gotten anything good out of the mystery box? And by good, I mean something worth more than 1000 coins? Everytime I pick the mystery box, I get a bucket. My bro once got 500 coins, but that's the highest I've ever heard of.
  22. Alright, found it. Thank you!
  23. Hi Tip.it, just a quick question: How do I get to the german servers? Is there a link from the main website, or do I do it in game? Thankees!
  24. Don't mean to be annoying, but I would like like an answer to my question above. Anyone else getting this problem? Should I just go back to using the tip.it microhelper?
  25. Alright, I'm free to play, and I'm using this script (very good work, by the way.) My concern is that since downloading your script, there are no ads displayed for me anymore. I'm worried that this script somehow disables the ads for free to play people, which of course is against the rules (Rule 15). Any solution? As far as critique goes, I like this script. The only thing I think would make it better is if it imitated the tip.it add-on and put any open windows on the side. (I guess I like a vertically smushed game better than a horizontally smushed one : )
