you think people are willing to run? Running was only successfull because it was the fastest money at that moment. Currently runecrafting is terribly slow money. So who would "run" for you now? - even picking flax is faster money! ZMI is still 100k+ Xp/hr(from when I ran for Kingio). Concerning who would run for you is honestly a joke tbh. If anyone wanted to really bring in runners, they would offer 50k-100k/run. That could easily make running the best money making in the game for noobs. :P if i had to have somebody run for me id like a guy with 1b agil xp too I lol'd. But anyway, I imagine that the top players would pay huge prices for good runners. I'm curious as to how they'd find these runners. I imagine they'd ask their friends to ask other friends or something, as advertising on forums would probably be out of the question. Well world 54(?) used to be the law run world.. And there was like a constant stream of people coming to the altar (rcers themself still had to enter the altar). I think IF it would start working, it would be immediatelly flooded by people dieing to make some money. I'm wonder if for pure cash zmi running is a viable alternative?

Define "pro" then. And I'll argue that my definition is better. You're now just acting as a self-declared "proffesional" in an unexisting subject. Besides if you think my posts are stupid, just ignore me that solves everything. And untill a moderate bans me I'll keep posting my input.

No of course I won't say what is more fun: However if case might be we team together, you shouldn't be bossy and "force" others to do it your style.. You should, together with the rest of the team find the style your team fits best. - Dungeoneering is a team sport, and in team sports not only the egoist counts. You have to find the middle route, the route in which everyone feels "ok". I'll try to hurry a bit more and neglect the build, you slow down your pace and play more safe! And unless you're searching for this middle route you'll never be a good leader and you won't get natural authority! Besides you could ask any team, really almost any team which had me in their team: they'll all say I'm pretty helpfull - I am always the first to rush into gd's to tank, I am the one who first creates armour & food for others (I only need 3 food pieces don't I? - pray counts for the rest and if need is high I tele out). Also in real life I'm often credited for resolving internal conflicts and I try to do this too during dungeon teams. The only times I'm not helpful is when finding myself an authorian leader who really talks as a stressed teenager who is completelly deaf for other opinions. Then I get the feeling they don't want to put personal profit below group profit, and then you won't see me being helpful. (I might just quit the dungeon as soon as I hear the first 2 sentences, no use in arguing for an hour and still being in the same room). coming from experience, i can tell you this is a lot harder than it sounds when you're skilling. it's really annoying to be halfway into making a pot and then have to teleport back. THAT is actually something I am personally quite good at (managing multiple things at the same time).. I'm just terrible when feeling stressed.

Some people simply can't stand the clickery of power mining! - and want to train in a relaxing way.

Now now ... and how exactly do you know what they want ? ...Because they made the game that way and then were forced to remove features they originally planned due to unforeseen circunstances? Boy, you sure are dense. Ever wonder why they are having this poll? The circunstances are gone, and they'd like to stick to the original plan. As far as I remember the 1st version had a pking system similar to PvP worlds with PKers and non-PKers separated. I'd assume this is what the founders of the game wanted. But you know .. this would piss off the pkers because they'll have to .. you know .. fight prepared people who are going to kill them. And this system is perfect. Pkers are NOT limited to few worlds, [bleep] the wildy, the whole world is dangerous and pkers and skillers are separated. that was way back in rsc.. And was actually removed since it made pking unprofitable, and senseless! -

and you forget to add: all hail sonikku, his playing style is godlike and is the only thing allowed in runescape!

not only did you evade the question, but you also double posted! - The OP asked what is faster, coal trucks or mining guild.. NOT about the iron/granite! I personally found the coal trucks to be slightly faster a few years ago!

uhm most people (over 99%) aren't lv 99.. so it's voidless to talk about 3rd binds!

If only you could teach everyone this SAFESPOTS DO NOT WORK after 2-3 seconds everything will move away from its safe spot and "retargets" you. depends on how you safespot. there are ways to kite or position such that the meleer never really gets to you. it is possible. sometimes, but that really depends on the room (and the amount of meleers, with 5-6 meleers it's like impossible). Also when you wield melee armour, you can ALSO tank rangers very well (even simply katagon). especially things like skelletons suddenly become very inaccurate!

It's really not stressful - it IS fun - when dungs are going well and everyone knows what they're supposed to do. I don't even DG for a reason - i have no DG target, i have all the chaotics i really need/want - but I still do it anyway for fun. Running sub 20 minute floors or soloing a boss etc. or otherwise being good in a dung is probably the most fun skilling you can have. Yet I love to "build up" a person, see your strength increase through the dungeon, making sources invinsible by havign all things ready! - And helping team mates being stronger than ever before. Now since in dungeoneering you've got to play together you've got to find a way in which everyone feels relaxed. - This is important, not only in dungeoneering but everywhere where you form a team. And people will listen better if you let them feel better!
-
I can empathize with this. It's really that with certain people there comes a point where discussion is pretty futile - taking the time to reason it out with these people is often unproductive. so it's become habit just to disregard these people. often, reasonable posters that deserve a thorough explanation get brushed off in this manner. As with bossy dg leaders, yes - they're not very well liked, but at the end of the day it's the most direct way of letting people know whether or not their DG strategies work or not. i am a pretty bossy keyer on w148 because people don't listen to me; if they do listen, i wouldn't be mean to them. it's not a very good leadership style but dg is not the type of environment that allows for gentle coaxing. yeah, this sums it up well once you play with a good team and good keyers you come to expect a certain amount of effort and RESPONSIVENESS on everyone's part, and it's really frustrating when this doesn't happen. why not? - It's what you made it yourself because you want it to be stressfull.. I rather have a relaxing, fun time: since in the end we play for fun. And as long as I have fun I don't mind if I reach my goal in 1 day or 10 years fun is most important.

Uhm gwd equipment was out before wilderness was removed! The dark bow too (and it was actually quite a bit stronger by allowing for more specs). GWD had only been out for around 3-4 months before the removal. The equipment was still highly priced and decently rare. Still "no one" was pointing back then that this weaponry would imbalance wilderness! -

I was getting 2k ess an hour without using abbysal titan...
-
I started with saying I only do skilling while no gd's/specialist doors are open! (and otherwise I'll tele in) but really at my lvl (125 cmb, prome plate/2h - no hood) I can maybe rush through 2-3 rooms.. But at 4 difficult rooms I'm already wasting so much food it isn't funny! (and yes constantly praying)
-
i mean still, if a nonkeyer can solo and find a few denks to save the keyer like 20 seconds it's more than worth it. let alone gate a new branching path so that the keyer doesn't have to gate it and bring ggs there himself. You're talking about w117 and yet saying this? I once did this.. And had to talk to the keyer to drop his ggs (instead of key, I knew there was like 1/4th dungeon behind the door) for at least 3 minutes.... Never going to do that again. Besides fishing takes what? 1 second a fish? That's faster food than any other method.
-
I'm not talking once you're half way.. I'm talking about the time when you just discovered that 1 challenge door, and you've got 3-4 open ends.. Or the time when you have only 2-3 open ends left and think about preparing for the boss.
-
Really dungeoneering is a team sport.. Why should you even think about going alone? You'll have to help yourself by helping others.. Not by soloing large parts of the dungeon!
-
so all you're saying is that you need the ggs to be there to be useful you don't go you're own route and open doors without keyer telling you yes I don't. People who walk their own route are so often annoying.. then they start complain they don't have food & need help..
-
I don't own a shadowhood.. So if someobdy rushes through rooms and I follow I'll take unnecessary hits.. But rather than waiting untill the keyer discovers a puzzle or a gd, I'm going to fish (or mine). Then when the keyer calls for help I can be there (thanks to the ggs) in less than a second anyways - and afterr cleaning the room & helping if needed with the puzzle I'll gate back to the fish spot. Why should I skill? Also if there is an abundance of food (in base or in inventories) people start playing much more relaxed.. They'll kiill first before attacking the lootpiles, they'll be more willing to share/heal others in case of emergencies... It might take 10 minutes longer, but the dungeon becomes more relaxed!
-
wth is wrong with you? - Those things were MEANT to be in wilderness - they've always been there!
-
A long time ago - there was another boss already in wilderness - and you had to venture much, much longer through the wilderness to go to it:The king black dragon. Really why is corp so special, and above the kbd of 2004? - And KBD lair itself used to be wilderness Formerly clan wars used to be played in high wilderness - pkers would sometimes venture there: but since everyone was in fighting gear: it was an unwritten rule to fight together vs the pkers. (and for other big clans to just leave it). So what's the problem? Besides you can teleport there anyways. Again you can teleport there.. Previously the good training spots (greater demons, red dragons) actually USED to be in the wildernes.. Why can't that be the case in the future? But if anything, the vulcano itself should just be "outside" wilderness. The far best training spot before monkey madness was the axe hut. - Guess where it was? Right: inside the wilderness. It is all "risk vs reward" there. And I think just making the tunnels themself "outside" wilderness keeps it a good training spot! There is already a route to the tunnels from the dagon'hai tunnels. If you are so afraid take that route? Great - you know the reason the rewards declined in price so hard? - It was because the risk was too little and every average joe can now just walk into wilderness and do the clue. IF the clues became more difficult the price would simply rise! (as less people can do the clues)
-
law running was much more popular than nature (less requirements since you didn't have to go through wildy) - and it gave more xp as well. With the current nature price this'll keep the same way.
