  1. collecting charms (while also doing snakes) nets in around 45 charms an hour.. You do the math from that!
  2. Cannons is indeed something new.. I believe it wasn't possible to set up a cannon in wilderness previously? Other than that 3-iteming bots will just return.. Bots have strength in numbers: who cares if 10-20 die? - You'll just make sure there's an extra 40 accounts ready! I used to cannon green dragons at the graveyard spot. Using the ancient teleport and glory to edge, using a Crystal bow. This was about 05 though I think. hmm kk.. well I'm just saying I hardly saw any in wilderness. (though cannonballs were more expensive back then, counting for the hyperinflation over the last few years I say the price has become 4-5 times as low). BTW: I remember there actually being guides on how to kill green dragon botters here on tipit!

  4. Well a toolkit is all about looking up information on the game. What he described is just a chatroom is it not? Am I confused? You've got the forums, the kbd, and many other places.. The only thing which might help is a dungeoneering toolkit: a toolkit which the whole team would use and then has a handy "minimap" where people can tell important spots (and the minimap is shared by everyone of the team).
  5. Right, but they both add to the net supply of prayer exp. Cut out dragon bone botters, which are a huge percentage of prayer exp added to the game, and you affect both frost and dragon bone prices (as well as ourg and dagganoth). Cut out them and new ones will come.. - Heck if it wouldn't be viable to bot, normal players would go there.. The limitation is not the difficulty to kill X/hour.. It is the limitation on spawn-time/hour. And a lot of bots have to be removed before the kill-time becomes substantional to the spawn time! You think green dragons are going to be packed on every world when they can attack each other? Maybe the chaos tunnels, but the overworld spawns are going to be pretty dead. That times over a hundred worlds is a pretty big supply difference however you cut it. They were packed before wilderness removal.. The bot owners answer to pkers was: just send more bots with 3/4 items only.

  7. Uhm what you mean by that? - having 50 withered vines I used them on the compost heap, but "nothing interesting happens".
  8. I'm refusing to use anything made by google untill google gives more open structure of what they do with my browse history! @sy_accursed- thanks that solved it!
  9. Hi there, I'm trying to track shadow jujus.. However everytime at the second step (then the trail leads to a burrow) I can't seem to track anything anymore.. Yet attack bushes also doesn't show anything (nor do I get a message about almost finding something).. What is going wrong?
  10. Actually, ZMI is pretty decent profit at higher levels (compared to doing other forms of RC like abyss deaths / bloods or graahking nats.). Last time i was at ZMI doing 1 minute laps was ~10k a lap, for an easy 600k an hour. Compare that to the 700k or whatever graahking is nowadays, or the slightly more for abyss deaths / bloods, and at high levels doing anything other than ZMI for RC that doesn't cost you is pointless (assuming you don't want to just level with assists). Compare that to 2007 when natures went for 300-350 each. And you could make 900k an hour abbys-double-nats. And take inflation into account!
  11. Now that I think of it, why don't they seed a pseudo-random number generator with their current ids? because their database would have to be completely recalculated. For runescape every item is "identified" by its number, your cleint (the java thing you open) just reads those numbers which the server provides, and then displays the correct items there. A change of a number would mean that this is a completely new item. And depending on how the data is stored, this can have strange consequences areound runescape. (Ultimatelly haveing to reparse the whole database).
  12. Why is dungeoneering suddenly "all important".. Really why not a mining requirement? - so you can clear the ice before the room.. - or a firemaking? The ice is thawing on it's own, why would we need to do it? Dungeoneering isn't really any more important than any other, it'd just be a good way to get people to train the new skill. And since we're talking about going deepering into the God Wars DUNGEON, it would actually make sense. Why would I need a certain lvl to open a door, especially if it is opening by itself already? And really, there is no new rocks after 85 mining: wouldn't that be in due to an update MUCH, MUCH more than dungeoneering, which just came out? Or basically any older skill?
  13. Like many skills, some people are interested only in the cape, not the skill or journey itself to get the cape. I'm not saying this is what the OP thinks and has their mindset on, but this is the case for many people. >> implying there is something wrong with getting it for the cape >>>> Implying that enjoying the journey is necessary >>>>>>> implying i do not agree with your post :? This is not a matter of "agreement": anyone who thinks the journey is NOT to enjoyment, in a game is addicted!
  14. Before the "all" thing the speed of burying bones was equal to the speed you could click - just like cleaning herbs is. (So ultimatelly you could do 28 bones in 0.6 seconds). And 10 bones a second were very well possible with runners.

    Keyers

either key or ggs.. Depending on the chance of multiple (gd) doors after the specified door.

    Keyers

Why is it more effective for one person to, I presume, be ultra-focused and try to stay on top of several doors and their locations, when each person can gate a door? Of course multiple people gate doors.. However 1 person should keep a good survey over what keys are available and what doors are currently gated. - That is the task of a keyer. And by having all keys in inventory, other people can easily scout him. If everyone keeps keys, the dungeoneering team would become a mess and you'll quickly loose track over what keys are where!
  18. Is this jagex trolling or something: zaros is supposed to specialize in magic combat.. However this boss again drops no magic equipment?
  19. Thanks for the reply  . I think I'm going to train rc up a bit. RC is hardly any money nowadays.. And with it being the skill which is getting botted more and more nowadays I doubt by the time you can make profit there is any profit left!
  20. Don't gotta worry about DDOS if you don't go to any other forums/use IRC ddossing is pretty much outdated. Any half decent ISP nowadays catches a ddos attack when the target is a consumer (which consumer would have lots of meaningless attempts at retrieving data?). So they're effectivelly trying to ddos a whole ISP -.-
  21. http://forum.tip.it/topic/268592-chaotic-rapier-vs-longsword/ have fun reading.
  22. Yes, I can easily achieve a run every 60 seconds which yields approximately 60k experience an hour. It's possible to achieve more with the use of an abyssal lurker. My figure assumes that the runners deliver 25 essence at a time, therefor having three runners at 20 second intervals would yield 1.5x the normal crafting rate (or 75 essence per minute). It's debatable, but it's doubtful that these lower levels will use these potions. Even if so, about .25 to .5 essence would be lost from every inventory depending on the amount of people in the world (and thus the equipment used). Which was the idea. Given the large amount of clicks required, getting a runner done in ten seconds doesn't sound feasible. And then how much are you paying these runners to compete with other crafters? 10k? 20k? I'm not saying that it can't be done, but I don't see it becoming an effective or adopted form of Runecrafting. Other alters sure, but not ZMI. Have you ever actually seen the law run world? You didn't have "runners" - you were just wielding a special outfit and announcing you were open (waiting for a trade). There was a constant stream of runners walking back and forth (I guess around 1500)
  23. I'm not going to vote in this poll: I already voiced my opinion by signing the petition.. And if jagex would truly give about peopls opinion they wouldn't be so arrogant to ask us to vote twice! - Why would my vote change? They should just make so that each sign on the petition would represent a vote for "yes".
