Wouldn't it be much faster to use fairy rings instead of karamja gloves? There's a fairy ring next to both karambwan and karambwanji. I still don't see how this is faster than monks.

You could try using full guthans or other barrows armor and food instead of prayer. It may take a few trips to complete the task, but it's cheaper and they don't hit as often as you expect. Full guthans usually works without food if you have 80+ def.

I think now is a perfect time to buy supplies for 99 herblore. Herbs are cheap, and even though pots are cheaper, prices will go back up eventually, and you can sell then for a profit.

BLATANTLY WRONG. I hate that misconception. When MTK came out, I heard this was true, but now you DO need to go back every day to keep things at maximum.

you can make over 300k per hour from the rewards on the hard route. Yes, it's worth it imo.

You can kill them without a slayer level, but they can now be assigned.

Then why are raw chompies still 85 ea after 5 weeks? Most likely because people sell them at the medium price. Wrong. All items have a price floor and ceiling. This is the biggest flaw in the GE. The floors and ceilings often seem to be completely arbitrary prices.

A decent amount of herbs, tons of gems and a half key, battlestaves, runes, thats all i got so far.

Task half done before i had to tele. I was diseased almost the entire time, but once the monsters stopped being agressive, it was easier. The drops are very good, the exp is decent. I need to find a better spot.

There's a new slayer task- Scarabites

A new slayer task was added with the latest quest- "Scabarites". I was just assigned 161 of them from Duradel in shilo village. According to the knowledge base, only Duradel assigns "Scabarus minions" and they can be found in the caves east of Sophanem or beneath sophanem. These are the "tips" that i got from my slayer crystal: Ok, so I did the quest, now I'm looking for a good way to do this slayer task. Is it worth doing at all? If so, what scarabs are the best to kill (obviously not the mages that poison for 9 and disease for 12), and what is the best setup? Discuss.

Yes guthans is VERY worth it if you like slayer, only as long as you can afford a whip and black mask to go along with it.

Do you mean in the boss area or not? Actually I tried it in BOTH places (armadyl non-boss area, and bandos BOSS area) both times my cannon was destroyed, and then the bandos boss started focusing attacks on me (world 6 too):( .

The clue is still possible. Don't worry, I had it and you will NOT need to go into bounty hunter.

try getting it as a drop from iron/steel dragons with mage or range and in the process get your stats up.

You can set it up there, but it will be destroyed if you fire it (at least mine was in the armadyl area). Its worth a try in other areas I guess. The worst thing that could happen is your cannon blowing up. You still get a free replacement.

Not sure if they changed this in the last update, but it used to be that if you die and lose it, it changes into the full price on the ground. So get an abyss skull then kill yourself and pick up the gp :P

I haven't played the game for 2 weeks now and I don't plan on starting again either. :P I got to R28 I think, the colour ukodus with 'Over the rainbow' on the background. Edit: How far do you suppose 'the game' will go, I thought it maybe ended at R30, but I guess not... Well, once you get to 31, the username/passwords start again. That level is the mirror of level 19. I'm assuming there are 18 levels left after this, all the way to the mirror of level 1.

I think Jagex mentioned slayer in one of the summoning dev diaries. I forget the context but it seemed like it could be used to train slayer. Of course we will find out in a few days either way...

What level are you on now Ray? I think I finally caught up. I made it to R-31. I got level 30 spoiled with no explaination of how... Did you ever figure out what the secret to level R-30 was?

When summoning comes out, there will be a new combat skill to use against slayer monsters. Does this mean that it will now be easier to get the coveted untrimmed slayer cape? As far as I know, only 1 person has ever achieved an untrimmed slayer cape in the past.

I think it happens early in the morning in EST. Not sure of the actual time, but it's while i'm asleep.

Not true what everyone else said. I can easily solo the kq with stats like yours. Just it almost always takes 2+ trips per kill. I used veracs though. You could do it with bgs in 1 trip if you get very lucky with the special.
