  1. For us with 400$ income, 2$ here 2$ there ... 2$ is kind of a lot. Considering that most of the said 400$ are used for things you kind of need like rent, clothings and food .. you aren't left with a lot to spend. If you live off a $400 income I'd question why you have RS membership even before the price increase, heck I'd question why you have the internet and probably some form of cable tv. I questioned myself the same question ... the reason I haven't played RS for 1+ y. I do have internet because I can do my job using the net in my home so I dont pay for transportation and I pretty much save more than I pay for the internet. And the price I pay for my internet is the same as one monthly payment for RS (as it is now). For my country: The 2nd test is for London: Quite good by my standarts. This should answer your question

  3. This action is so smart on so many levels. If you were a person who played RS for 5 months per year you'll be subconsciously forced to pay for 12 now because you will not want to "lose" that -2$ offer. So they will pretty much win for every person who played below 9 months per year but will now pay just not to lose the 5.95$ price.
  4. My haircut costs 0. 20$ hair clipper .. best purchase of my life
  5. They can sell those shares at any given time. All they (should) care about is getting as much as they can as fast as they can. Their strategy might as well be - buy shares from a company, milk (and kill) it fast, sell, repeat.
  6. The name doesnt imply anything of the sorts. Financing - getting money from somewhere to do shit. Investing - giving money to someone to do shit or using the money to do some shit yourself and getting some profit out of it. There is no longterm implied in investing
  7. 1. Not touching the game. End of list.
  8. Go to youtube, search for Drakensang online, look at the backgrounds ... True it's D2 style-ish, but I'd dump the moving camera for such graphics .. (and I did for a while).
  9. I have no idea what that means. Do you know a video that can explain that for me? Download Autohotkeys (I'm sure it's not a good idea to give a link in here for it, just google it) Open notepad and type z:: mousemove, 0, 60, Relative return Save it in .ahk format (for example test.ahk) and start the file. When you press Z the mouse will move with 60 pixels down from your current position. If you want to use another key, replace Z with it (for example F1:: )
  10. They might as well call him Nick. Oh look .. the already have one =/
  11. Rule of thumb in RuneScape - If it has some sort of a God symbol on it - it represents the said god. And the sword has Guthis symbol, rather big one as well. So you being convinced it's guthixian or not, doesn't change the fact it has a snake thingy on the top of it.
  12. I assume the INSANE skyrocketing of various gear and items for one. Isn't that a good thing? Depends on which side of the stick you are. If you use them to fight, not at all. If you hunt them ... yup.
  13. I don't think catching *smart* color bots is as easy as you think. Unless the one that made them is dumb enough to make them click on the same pixel over and over again, moving the mouse in a straight line with a constant speed. Tweek it a bit (area of clicking, more realistic speed and mouse movement) and I doubt there is a way to catch them (consindering that their auto-bot thingamajig has to "watch" a lot of people at the same time). Due to the number of players they have to "watch" I assume they are just waiting for "anomalities" and if you dont make any chances are they wont catch you.
  14. Canceled 3 months ago .. and I still come to see the new updates ... you don't have to pay to watch them burn in hell o.O
  15. Avalani needs your support! 40 = a, 41 = b and go on. They used numbers from 40 to 61 ... why would you assume that 1 = A o.O, If they use the scope 40-61 then A is between 36-40 and Z is between 61-65. Who the hell is Avalani ?* *Nvm ... RS Wikia answered that one
  16. 90% of the time when they are no longer working - right click on it and copy the link then paste it on the address bar and press enter ...
  17. Kind of old ... weren't there 2-3 threads about this (I am sure I remember at least 1) Looks like this one http://forum.tip.it/topic/205276-must-watch-update-holland-considers-virtual-theft-a-crime
  18. And were you already maxed when you leveled from 68 to 80 ? If you are going to compare them ... compare them at the same grounds.
  19. Just a sidenote - at least it has some use even at 75 ... My crafting and smithing are at 99 but I NEVER ACTUALLY USED them .. construction got me a free altar and a free teleport to Kharyrll and a place to train firemaking (another useless skill) with fast banking and without competition ... smithing and crafting got me only magic exp  (superheat and glassmake)
  20. I don't remember any XP related boost that stack with the bonus XP boost ... soooo it wont affect the bonus XP weekends.
  21. It's the best runescape poll with a Jagex iniative in it .. that's all I can say  (worded in another way - the best poll Jagex managed to pull out in a looooong time)
  22. I am quoting a post which says that 4200 people are not a good sample size, simples. (I scrapped the rest of your post .. you are talking about Scorpion while I was talking about Cheefoo's post - which was pretty much a wrong assumption about sample sizes =/) and 4160 people are enough for everything above a general size of 23 million (just a note :D) Probability math is a fun thing ... for example if you pick 57 random people, there is a 99% chance that 2 of them share the same birthday ... (Tried it 5 times, by the 30th person we had the matching birthdays .. 3 out of 5 had 2 pairs)
  23. I am quoting a post which says that 4200 people are not a good sample size, simples. (I scrapped the rest of your post .. you are talking about a person which I am not familiar with - Scorpion)
  24. Yes, because 4200 idiots on youtube is a great sample size. erm yeah .. anything above 384 is a GREAT sample size ... juuuuust for the record. (5% Confidence Interval and 95% Confidence Level) 4268 is the sample size needed for 1.5% CI and 95% CL or 2% CI and 99% CL. (anything above 95% CL is just show-off anyways)
  25. What does that sign look like my good man? ...
