Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
I proved that a single proton cannot kill you. On the same grain, and electron (1/1000th the size of a proton) couldn't kill you, either. I doubt a neutron could, either. To avoid stupid comments about super-vacuums: see my simple calculations 2-3 pages back. That's the MAXIMUM energy you'll get out of a proton (it was about 1 tenth of a billionth of a joule)

Possible Cure for HIV Discovered
What I don't understand is why that Indian guy got banned and not you. Your trolling is extremely obvious, and always steers every thread off topic. Back on-topic: Have any of you heard of Africa? I know it's a longshot for most of you, it's that comma-shaped continent in the middle of your atlas. It makes me sick reading people's posts about how AIDS has "brought balance and control to the human population" and "without HIV everyone would be cramped", when millions of Africans are dying from the disease (AIDS being the biggest cause of death in Africa). If the same rates of death were to be in YOUR country, affecting YOUR race, i'm sure your posts would not have been the same. :shame:

Valentines Day (Singles Awareness Day) Will Soon Be Upon Us.
No girl this valentines. I'm so ronery ;_; However, there's still time to ask the German girl in my Biology class. Tomorrow I ask her if she has a boyfriend, Thursday I'll see if she wants to come snowboarding with my friends on Friday and Friday I ask her if she wants to go out for valentines, Saturday. Sounds like a plan \

A weight loss blog?
I did the exact same thing last summer, for the entire summer. The trickiest part of keeping a blog is taking the pictures. I used to take mine near my bedroom window, but different lighting from different daytimes messed up the entire compilation (grrr, shadows). So I suggest setting up a mini-studio where you can control the light source, in your basement or something. Take multiple shots from multiple angles for best results.. the more the better! As for keeping a blog.. I didn't bother. I just uploaded my pictures to my laptop every weekend and made a compilation in iPhoto and left it at that. I concentrated more on the actual muscle building more than my "blog", i'm not sure if that was a good or bad decision. Aaaanyways, I suggest you make yourself a nice wordpress blog and update it every weekend, because daily updates are very tedious and the progression is not evident. EDIT: I forgot to mention I also maintained a spreadsheet I updated after each workout. It started off with max# of crunches, push-ups, biceps lifts (left+right). That way, when I started my routine, I could keep an eye on what my maximums already are and made sure I'd never go under. That was what helped me push myself to the limit every single workout. My inner-nerd also enjoyed making graphs with all the raw data. Excel is also fun because you can just add columns for new exercises!

Feminism
This comment may be off-topic because I didn't read the article, mainly because i'm super important and have better things to do, but the big theme behind feminism is all the double standards. There are thousands of them, and they are almost all impossible to destroy if we don't change our mindset (which has deep roots in pretty much every single culture). That being said, feminism nazis ARE very annoying and have slanted views of things, but so do extremists of everything else. Nothing new, really.

Homosexuality: Right or Wrong?
Hey genius, every living organism is carbon based and we don't share half our genes with all of them. It IS extremely impressive that every living thing shares the same genetic "alphabet" and how our "book" (human genome) has the exact same words of half a banana's books. Just because homosexuals have AUG codon instead of GAC doesn't mean you should discriminate them. Secondly, I had no idea that the helix structure of DNA was made of protein. I always thought it was made of two anti-parallel string of nucleotides. Thanks for the lesson professor science!

Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
Proton mass: 1.672^-27 kg Anti-proton mass: 1.672^-27 kg c: 3x10^8 m/s E=mc^2 E=(1.672^-27 kg + 1.672^-27 kg)*(3x10^8 m/s)^2 E=3x10^-10 J or E= 3 tenths of a nanojoule That's the maximum energy you're going to get from a single proton, and since an apple falling from a 1m high tree only releases 1joule (or ten billion times the energy of a proton's rest energy), I don't see how splitting a proton/anti-matter joining bologna could ever kill you. I don't know how to put this in simpler terms.

And seeing as matter is pretty much made of nothing, the chances of a single atom hitting you has the same chances as you jumping off a plane and landing on a tuna fish sandwich.

Sounds like my dogs  They're fun to hang around with on rainy days, though. Anyways, i'm glad he's doing well.

Yummy!...Neurotoxins
This might be a factor in the fact that humans have an extremely higher number of genetic mutations, all found at a higher rate compared to any other animal. I'm not even talking about conditions developed after eating mercury-filled foods. Then again, we rarely exercise and eat hotdogs all day. I for one wag the finger of shame at anyone who doesn't eat fish just because there's mercury traces in them. They're a source of so many essential components of your body, and the only substitute is healthy Indian cuisine. Eat your freaking fish, you guys :shame:

A Tough Time
I'm glad your dog lived through the venom infection, that was probably the worst bit. I really respect you and your bond with your dog, it's a really powerful thing. Once a huge dog attacked my eldest dog when I took her for a walk when I was little, and I was blinded with rage at the other dog and it's owner since I was completely powerless against it. It was like watching my best friend being murdered right in front of my eyes. LUCKILY she survived, like i'm sure your dog will  dogs are pretty invincible, from my experiences

a question i can never answer...
:shame: tell your brother what you think of his attitude. I know my elder brother had/has a huge impact on my behavior, and I think my feelings towards him are universal with all siblings relationships. Don't keep it all cooped up inside! Nobody is going to help you if you don't stand up for yourself, if they're too dense to notice something is wrong :

NFL Super Bowl-Post who you think will make it and or win..
After witnessing the 100 yard turnover by the Steelers, my friends and I went out to go play ice hockey because the game would just go downhill from that point. And we were right to do so, football is a terrible sport to watch anyways \

Paradoxes
??? The total for the room is 25, not 30. It should be: 9*3 - 2 = 25$ \ A man has a locked box. He's seen a locksmith but he doesn't have the combination to unlock it. So he watches it, because at any moment it might show him what to take off the locks with so he chained himself to the box took a lock and then he locked it. Swallowed the combination and then forgot it. A man has a locked box. He's seen a locksmith but he doesn't have the combination to unlock it. Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
Then would it be okay to say black holes can't kill us since it's not an everyday type of thing that we encounter? Nah man, just stick a black hole in a mega-cannon in a vacuum and launch it at yourself.

Paradoxes
:wall: The fail posts just keep getting worse. I don't know any paradoxes, but here's a math riddle: If you have 36 cigarette buds, and if you can make 1 new cigarette by combining 6 buds together, how many extra cigarettes can you make? or How many boys and girls (excluding parents) are in a family where each sister has twice as many brothers as sisters and each guy has as many sisters as brothers? or You have a bag full of pink and purple socks. How many socks do you have to pick out in order to be 100% you have a proper pair?

Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
Who said you aren't gluing your head to the tip of the cannon? Nobody. You're still faced with the problem that water is not dense and the fact that your skin is an organ system which main function is to protect the body. Even at high speed, one droplet doesn't stand a chance versus skin. A drop of water at a speed slightly slower than light, in a vacuum is going to damage anything with less momentum. Period. There is no friction, so it's not going to disperse until it increases in speed, which its mass will infinitely approach zero parallel to the speed it reaches. Yup. People aren't comprehending the unbelievable force behind a drop of water, or indeed anything, going at the speed of light. In a vacuum it will penetrate ANYTHING. The energy is almost infinite and is able to be released in the tiniest spark of a second. You could spread that water out into a decent sized, super thin sheet (this is a vacuum we're talking about) and drill a hole however big you want through anything you want. Sorry, I was under the impression we were talking about realistic situations that obey everyday life physics. My mistake. Next time i'm in a vacuum with a mega-cannon i'll be sure to watch out for flying objects :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Zombie Plans-Revised
I would try establishing a way of communicating with them, maybe they're trying to tell us something..... I'd be first to die in the movie  The worst type of zombie to fight would definitely be the Tank from Left 4 Dead, you need a good team of 4 to take him down and I always wet myself whenever he busts through a wall.

Best Drunk Song?
any David Bowie song for me. My friend also has a playlist dedicating for drinking on his computer, lots of Irish drinking songs (with odd names) which are good for chugging \

Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
Okay PurePrayer, with your freaking super-cannon defying all physical rules: Even if you do manage to launch a droplet of water (liquid or frozen) at light speed, it's density would not permit it to penetrate your skin (ESPECIALLY frozen water). Also, have you ever heard of terminal velocity? Unless you glue your head to the tip of the cannon, the droplet of water will slow down instantly as soon as it leaves the cannon. Anything high speed =/= death, especially if it has such a low density as water. Also, for the guy who posted the "final droplet to drown"... That doesn't even make sense. A droplet is considered to be 1mL is most cases, and I can't imagine how it would make any difference about allowing you to breathe or not. The fact that you set a value to the tipping point of drowning (it was 30mL i believe), is the first flaw. If you're passed out, your throat has to be filled completely with water. Since that's a heck of a lot of water, adding or removing one droplet will change absolutely nothing. The tipping point is much larger than just +/- one drop of water, is what i'm getting at.

Anyone else ever feel like taking a year and just leave?
I would definitely love doing that, but I would have to bring somebody. Not because it would make me feel secure, but I can't live without any human contact for more than 24 hours. That and Canada is boring, its just snow and pine trees really
