Today...
I passed up hangout out with friends in the small town next to my college in order to finish an assignment during my 2 hour break. Stupidest idea ever. I finished in half an hour and i'm still waiting for my class to start at 2:30. The worst part is, I never thought of going to join the after I finished my work early, and now it's too late. Major brain fail

Today...
Today I visited my aunts house for Easter. I went down to her basement for the first time and found a room filled with over 4000 unopened Barbie doll boxes. I looked at my brother for reassurance, and he just kept his eyes on the floor. Then when I looked at my cousin (her son) he was grinning like a jackal, obviously amused by my astonishment/total horror. Just when I thought my family was beginning to be normal.

The Metric System
A kilogram is a physical object too. You could hold it in your hands, but i'm sure a bunch of scientists and French officials would stop you first :)

The Metric System
Everything should be changed to metric, since it's more compatible with new technology. I suppose it was time to switch around the time when calculating computers were invented. However, the Imperial system was the more logical system once upon a time when we didn't have calculators. Numbers chosen at conventions back then were chosen only because they had a lot of divisible numbers. 12 can be divided by 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12. 10 can be divided by 1, 2, 5, 10. Ever wonder why days have 24 hours, or that circles have 360 degrees? Same reason. So far we've changed length and degrees to a more "logical" system, meters and radians. I wonder when we'll start having 10 hour days

I'd Like My 4th Amendment Back, Please
They've been monitoring all of our calls and e-mails before any of us were born. Why start caring now?

What do you think will happen to us?
Either we will have colonized other planets by then or there will have to be regulations on how many kids you can have. e.g. The law says you can only have one child, but you CAN have two except the government will not do anything to help the 2nd+ child nor will it sympathize with families who have more than one children. Oh, there would be a world government by then, so that law would apply everywhere

Is God real post your thoughts!
So? Does it matter if you share beliefs with other people? You still differentiate with them on others. Everything's personal, even if nothing is. Going all Zen here. EDIT: Fixed the quote. I'm just saying. Compare religious beliefs with style. Although someone appears to be unique because of his/her sense of fashion, they are only unique relative to the norms established by society. You don't see anyone walking around in oldschool pilot attire because they would be treated like a quack. Same thing goes for "personal" beliefs. Your choices in believing what you like are more constrained than you'd think. Personal beliefs.. hahaha You'd be surprised how society controls your choices in just about everything. Nothing is really personal. Yeeeah maaan, fight the establishment brother! Hey, i'm just pointing out the obvious. There's no need to be a smartass

I'm Having Some School Trouble
A laptop will make you do even less homework. Your only hope is to get bored of videogames, which will not be for a few more years, but the day will come. I personally thought it could never happen, but even at the age of 17 I went from playing all the time to 2-3 hours a week. You can try cutting back on play time now but you'll just end up reverting back to old habits. Until then, it shouldn't be too hard to keep up the good grades (honestly, at your age, you don't really have too much homework to be worried about).

Developing the Superhuman
All these things are pretty useless for flying people out of burning buildings and catching a robbed purse. However, we could/can genetically modify human zygotes to express a certain superpower. I'm sure the research for it must not be advancing much because of the ethical issues that arise, but if a group of scientists worked on super strength they could potentially create a super strong baby. I know we can already make people that glow in the dark

Trip Room!
Start off by painting your room with a bright colour and start sticking on those glow in the dark stars. That alone will take a lot of work and you could begin right now. When I took over my brothers room, I painted it bright yellow and have loved it since. I put all my effort into moving the least amount of furniture in (in total i have 3 pieces of furniture.. bed, drawer and closet). That left me a lot of room for my working out equipment (the floor...)

Stuck on Sigma Notation Problem
In order to make room for genetics and biology, I had to push Calculus into the dark corner of my brain. Honestly, I have no idea how to do #1 or what a limit process is, but I can easily do #2 for you (the answer should be 12) by doing the quick i-already-passed-cal2-method. Sorry for the useless post.

Learning to accept myself...
You should really try getting a better relationship with humans then. They can help you with a lot more than your cat can. Indeed. I think that although you've come to terms with your sexuality, your emotional needs prevent you from perceiving more complex truths and attaining the metaphysical knowledge you believe you have found.
