  1. I've been brining down my multi-tasking as much as possible ever since I discovered how much better my grades were when I studied with the TV and computer off. I still have to listen to music though, but I just tune out and tap my foot to the beat. When it comes to general courses though (such as English), I always multi-task. I'm currently writing an essay, listening to music, browsing TIF and chatting on MSN
  2. I love tickling people, especially those with kidney-sensitive areas.. on each side right below the rib cage (I'm sensitive there, too). I just prod people with a "BZZZT!" sound effect and they go flying. It's so much fun doing it when they're texting in the middle of class, everyone gets so startled when they see a cellphone fly across the room. Oh, I also like jamming my chin in girls' backs when they're sitting on my lap. It may be a pretty strange thing to do, but it always gets good reactions.
  3. I mostly wear stuff from Simon's. The price range is mid-high but I go whenever they have 50% off sales. I always end up buying 2-3 slim-fitted t-shirts, a striped sweater and cool jeans (of any colour). I'm pretty sure it's a gay store, but I always shop with girls so they can rate clothes for me. Point-Zero would be my favourite brand name cause whenever I pick out something that I think would look good on me it usually ends up being point-zero. I have a few American Apparel items, but they're way too expensive to have a closet full.
  4. My advice would be to tell your parents about it. They may let you live under their roof, clothe you and feed you, but their main responsibility is to emotionally support you. If anybody is going to accept you for who you are, it's them. You can also open yourself to us. I personally don't judge anyone, especially when it's over the internet.
  5. Nose (side) + tongue piercings make me =P~ then \ I never really got into piercing holes into myself, can't get used to all the extra parts

They're starting to turn a strip of vaudreuil into completely big companies, shops, and everything you could ever need, still only about halfway through the project. but I don't have any means of transport out there, I'm about a fifteen-twenty minute ride in the car from them. I'll look into it once schools over though. I've got no problem with biking for two hours(there/back) every day, if I'm gonna be making money. I wish there were public transportation around here. Hahaha, do you go to Cite des Jeunes? Your area has some serious social issues... my mom was threatened while she was teaching there and some of my college friends barely made it out of there alive.

I played road hockey today in shorts and a T-shirt 8-) It was fun trying to get tennis balls out of the piles of snow in my ankle shoes & socks. Then I watched the hockey game in the dark (Earth hour)... Habs failed in shootouts  I refrained from partying after because I really needed to finish my essay, which I'm working on right now.
  8. It was fun going to the Grand Prixs, but now that they've ditched Montreal I couldn't care less about F1 racing.
  9. Right, how could he be the father? Christ, how the [bleep] did we miss that? Maybe because he isn't the father? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-storie ... -21227974/
  10. Whoever is behind it must be pretty smart. Not even the combined forces of the greatest security techs around the world can crack the worm... What does someone with such intellect and time on his hands want to do with such a powerful worm? ...probably lulz #-o
  11. Ouch. My brother and I were jumping off my grandma's wood shed on the farm when I was 10, we would land in 4 feet of power snow (there had just been a storm). After a few runs I take a huge running start, slip as I jump, hit the back of my head on the shed and flip into the snow. After laughing for about 10 mins my brother brought me in, I was dazzled for an entire week.

Having a cool older brother pretty much gave me a free pass from highschool bullying, I was royalty. When he graduated I was accomplished enough not to be bothered by chowderheads... The only form of bullying I was subject to was from a teacher, but she was one of those crazy seperatistes who hated English folk. She'd never let me ask questions in class and would send me out if I talked to anybody (which I used to get out of school early). You teenagers are so hopeless :|
  13. Hahahahahahahahaahah I remember reading something about someone putting sandwiches in his shoes in a car thread here, I just never linked both things together. This is pretty awesome
  14. Last night I dreamed I owned a huge bunny with super soft and fluffy fur and I love him so much, but a black wolf hung around my house. For the entire dream I was paranoid, keeping my bunny away from the fence. Then for some reason there was this hole in the fence and the wolf went for my bunny, which was when I woke up. My dreams are so [bleep]ing lame.
  15. Hulu is USA-only :wall: Can somebody paraphrase the headline for the rest of us?
  16. Sticking a toothpick between my big toe nail and my toe hurt a bit. Until I kicked the wall.
  17. I'm a lefty, but I don't have too much experience with technology. I may know a thing or two about computer hardware (computer graphic cards, internal hardrives.. the nerd stuff) but nothing too spectacular. However, when I used to design websites, the forum I got my skills from was filled (60%+) of lefties. I think there's a correlation between lefties and art only because they believe they have more potential than the average person, and that personal confidence is the cause for more imagination ect. There are so many disadvantages though, like bringing your own pair of scissors to work

I never follow this rule (if I gotta pee, i'm gonna pee). However, I do feel strongly about keeping your eyes on the tiles. There's nothing more uncomfortable than someone with wandering eyes peeing next to you.

Quitting smoking is easy, i've done it thousands of times... Goodluck with it dude :?
  23. Which is where the chowderheads who ruin everything for the rest of us come in. If it weren't for them abusing their meds, we wouldn't be having this discussion. -.-
  24. what does that mean? your kids have chances of getting it? He's probably a heterozygote. Which means he has one copy of the gene which is mutated, and one which is not. Most heterozygotic sickle cell carriers have no symptoms. That means he has 50% of passing on the mutated gene. For his kids to get sickle cell anaemia, his partner would need to pass one a mutated copy of the gene aswell. That means, he would need to have a partner which carries the gene. Most carriers live in places where a lot of malaria is present. This, because people with sickle cell disease are pretty much immune to malaria because the malaria parasite can't proliferate in the abnormally shaped red blood cells that these sickle cell patients have. Since I doubt he lives in Africa, the chance on getting a partner which is also a carrier is quite small. And even if he did, chances are still 50% that the bad version of the gene is carried one. Which still makes up for a chance of 50%*50%=25%. ..And that's why having kids with your sister/cousin is a terribly terrible idea. Every family carries a rare recessive genetic disorder, but it's never expressed in the offspring unless you mate with another person with the same extremely rare genetic disease. Having kids with your cousin gives those disorders and opportunity to express themselves, which could leave to death. So before marrying your cousin, you'd better think twice. That's your environment. Has nothing to do with genes. There's no genetic component for a politic belief. Inheritance doesn't always have to do with genetics. While communism might not be passed down through genes, the ideals can be inherited from your parents. You can also inherit a house from your parents. It was just a joke anyways. It's a good thing we're talking about heritable diseases, then.
  25. I would think i'd stop right away, I'm not one to deliberately hurt people even for science experiments. And, it's not just the voltage or just the amperage that kills you... it's both. Even heard of Power? Volts x Amps. Where did everyone learn the notion that it's amperage that kills you?
