Well I'm in the guild now, and it's netting me a decent profit, but it's pretty slow. I think I'm going to get a level here, powermine the next level, come back and do coal for a level, etc. Best of both worlds and it will be easier.

Yeah, it's been stated so far. Go kill green drags, bank both hides and bones. Sell the hides and buy more bones. Go to the RSOF and under events find a house party with a guilded alter. Go there and use your bones on the alter.

I made the huge mistake of not banking a gold ore as I turned f2p. I banked every other useful item so I would be fine, but no gold :x .

Hey, I'm currently f2p and would like to raise my mining. Where's the best spot and best method to do it? Right now I'm just mining a full load of iron west of Varrock and dropping it after I'm full. Is the exp for mining coal in the guild and banking it worse or is it worth the profit?

I think so. Luckily I had 70 prayer banked just before piety came out and the bones skyrocketed. I know I owned the rune pures in the wildy that week. I could hit just as high as them and I had 80 defense plus a 20% prayer. I don't know if it's as valuable in the game now, but I'd expect monster hunting or pvp worlds would make it a necessity.

I was pretty poor and around level 90. I had just gotten into Barrows. I did about a hundred runs and had some luck, but hadn't gotten one of the huge drops. And then, I got a Guthan spear(they were well over 5m at the time.) I freaked out, and sold it for all the money. Next day, I try Barrows again. 3 runs later I got a Dharok plate, which was worth like 1.5m at the time. I did 2 more runs and I got another Guthan warspear. So I made close to 12m in 5 Barrow runs when I barely had any gp to my name. :D

Eh, don't let everyone get to you, they were the same level at one point and were probably excited about it. I think this should be a thread more than someone getting a lucky drop. At least worked hard with a goal in mind and got it.

I'm not too familiar with the ZMI thing as I haven't been a member in quite some time. But, some of the fastest exp you can get is get a bunch of rune ess(not pure), a fire tiara, and a bunch of dueling rings. Tele to duel arena, make the short run to the fire alter, craft, tele to castle wars, bank, repeat. I think you even cut a small profit if you are at the level for triple fires(can't remember what levlel it was.)

If it's what I'm thinking of, they are in the desert in the town that has the chest you have to break into for Desert Treasure. They really don't drop anything of value, but if you wear a God cape they will auto attack you. You can sit there for hours and not click except for eating/healing with guthans every 10 minutes or so.

While he never stated his level, I'd guess he's under 20. Acorns are what, 3k? A full round of acorns will get him several levels.

Off topic, but how does this apply to getting 99 hunter?

Really, plant the highest fruit trees and normal trees you can and go check after like a day. At your level, you'll probably get 8 levels just from one round. At 32, start planting ranarrs and the money will flow in. If you make a couple rounds a day you will really profit.

Probably quit for good. I rarely play now, and with no bank there would be no incentive.

One of those people with 200M cooking experience could get it this way if they make fires with mage logs or something haha.

Fly fish in barb village and bank in Edge. Buy cowhides and tan in Al Khared, and then make coifs. Keep mining coal Woodcut willows in Draynor or Yews in edge.
