I don't think I would fall in love with someone who has totally different believes with me. And the Christian girl scenario wouldn't work because they get told to keep away from the none believers =] + ever seen a hot religious person? Last time I checked religious people had a base for their believes that base was God. You seem to say generalize all religion as to having 0 logic in it, well it does and it's very simple. God > makes human to enjoy a life with God.>human dies> goes to heaven where he is always happy with his best friend God. I never contested the Christian beliefs, I contested the fundamentalists means of spreading their religeon, if you read the list again you'll notice right before it I stated that I was ONLY talking about the fundamentalists. I only began questioning your views when you started questioning mine. Notice Christian, it doesn't make a difference if they are fundamentalists or not they use the same peace of source for their believes the Bible.

Anyone can pick holes in any belief system, you can make a list like that for any believe/faith Well I used to be a christian, but became an athiest after a school chapel service, when the reverend guy read a passage from Noah's Ark, then started talking about how God loves us. Atheist ok... so you belive that.. 1. There is absolutely no purpose to your life, since you die and there is nothing for you to achieve. 2. There is no purpose for your decisions 3. Your family and all your loved ones are actually none significant since you will die and end it all anyway why wait to die? so yeah i got my point across i could go on for hours. To the maker of this topic; please try to look from both sides of view not just bash it without giving a thought for the other side... maybe then you would realise that religions actually make sense to some people since, it gives them hope , laws to live by and comfort and a lot more.. Why wait to die? We were put here to enjoy life. You're suggesting I kill myself now just because I'm an athiest? You're saying that because I'm an athiest and believe in no afterlife, that I have no purpose and should just die now? Wow. Just wow. No if your an atheist then you don't believe that you was put on earth at all, it was a lucky combination of cells, not to enjoy life but just to randomly exist and live. Also I wasn't saying you should kill yourself i was speaking theoretically, making points about what I could say about atheists like that list you brought up about Christians. Umm..You know something? Athiesm doesn't revolve around the 'BIG BANG THEORY' and personally I think that the big bang is a crock of sh**. I'll tell you something. I don't know how we were put here. But I'm not trying to force my beliefs into anyone. As a matter of fact, I don't have any beliefs because I'm an athiest. There aren't any valid arguments that could point out flaws in athiesm. My second point was that personally I'd find it hard to be an atheist and banishing all possibilities of an after life, since it would make the efforts I make to live on earth now totally worthless.

I dont personally believe you can be born gay, it's something that we choose to do. Just me tho. There are arguments either way some homosexual people say they were born that way, for example I had this friend is nursery who from a young age was a bit feminine and now he is homosexual. However there are others who say it's a choice usually based on bad past experiences in their childhood. I.e. a strict mother meaning the child is attracted to the other sex and just doesn't find women attractive. Or a child abuse experience for example a girl was rapped by her dad therefore she can't trust any men etc..

Are you totally [developmentally delayed]ed? God can do anything. I may not believe in God but the Christian God can do anything so they say and base their believes on Wow so you take one case of a psycho and mark a religion of billions of followers over it? There is no scientific proof that people are born gay yet. Usually a child of 0-10 doesn't make a choice about his sexuality that comes at the age of 11-18 due to puberty.
