the victim seems too big for me, you should have taken the screen from more far away. what most bothers me is the chatbox and the "craft rune" option. you should have kept the cursor away... and for the knife you could have taken a screen of a guy wielding a dagger and crop the dagger

well the dithering looks too weird... it looks too much like a mosaic. try to add an intermediate color to make it look better...? and last time i checked fire gave off light lol

its not that bad for a first, aside from those ripples that tomdavies already pointed at, id personally prefer to move the camera so the black bakground doesnt appear, it looks bad. and i thought water had a different texture in runescape did you take the screen in low detiail...?

much better with the miner, the xp amount doesnt concern anyone anyway... (at keast not me :P ) but i liked more the earlier miner border, the new one seems too overloaded to me. and make a simple background to the miner to make look it less bare...? :-k

i pointed too about a dark background but it wasnt too clear. almost all good render sigs ive seen have dark backs because it stresses the render. the important stuff should be brighter than the background- and you havent change the font although 2 people pointed at that :shame: lol edit: ^^nvm looks like ur changin font now^^ :oops:

trial and error are your best teachers. the head is a bit oversized but if thats the size of the helm its ok. o and about shading, before you do something that cant be solved, dont do pillow shading!!! lol

so looks like you gave up pixeling? ok here goes my cc here... the first one could have been blended better and the yellow background doesnt really fit, make it more like green or another dark color. and the font doesnt fit. lookup in dafont theres a whole section dedicated to military fonts i wont give cc about the second cause japanese manga and anime and all that stuff look like [bleep] to me :D

you have messed up with the shading cause your light source has no defined position. notice how you shaded almost everything on the lower part, which makes think that the light comes from above, but the top of the horns and the top of the head are shaded too, which makes it look like the light comes from below. And the tongue is way too bright! it looks like its a red light bulb lol
