THE RUNE DEFENDER!!! its my new best friend... to get one of these all you need to do is go to the warriors guild (situated west of burthorpe) and do any of the different tasks to obtain warrior tokens which enable you to fight cyclopes which drop defenders. i find the best thing to do is get a set of mith armour (you dont need the shield) and use it with the armour animating machine (the room right under the bank). it will become a lvl 92 mith warrior which will give you 25 tokens per kill. then when you have over 100 tokens (you need at least 100 tokens) go to the cyclopes room (found on the top floor-ladder is next to the bank) and talk to the woman standing outside and ask her all the questions. she will let you inside (make sure you have the tokens and food) and now go crazy and kill as many cyclopes as you can. EVENTUALLY you will get the bronze defender (just because its bronze doesnt mean its an easy drop...you will need at least 1k tokens) and go and use it with the woman outside the door. everytime you do this she releases new cyclopes that drop the next defender. now that moment youve all been waiting for...the rune defenders stats: rune defender: requirements-same as any other rune weapon weight-0kg attack bonuses: stab +20, slash +19, crush +18, magic -3, range -2 defence bonuses: stab +20, slash +19, crush +18, magic -3, range -2 strength bonus: +5 (same as toktz-ket-xil \ ) prayer bonus: 0 hope this helps

ok i got a couple of questions regarding selling sharks: a)which are better to sell cooked sharks or raw sharks? b)is 900 ea for raw sharks and 1k ea for cooked sharks the correct prices? c)where is the best place to sell sharks? d)what world is the best for selling sharks? e)what sort of ammount should i be selling in? if anyone can help at all i would be really appreciative.

i had the same problem when i was doing that quest. there was a bunch of us running around that lumber yard losing our tempers over that kitten but in the end we all found it. the trick is to look in ALL the crates (even the ones that arent making noises) and you WILL find it eventually. have fun now :D

yeah i can see your point but i think it was unintentional... the way i see it is that you see the snake and think "oh thats a snake" then you think about it and realise a snake isnt the safest thing in the jungle and so therefore scream "snaaaaaaaake" in a scared sorta way. what i cant understand is why my character would be scared of a snake when i can kill a dragon...which is a very big snake that can breathe fireballs. and on a side note what the hell is up with all this mexican homosexual spam in the middle of this thread?! keep on the subject people! take that kinda talk outside and discuss it there this is a RUNESCAPE board...saying stuff like that is likely to get a thread locked.

lol nice find. ive never met a jmod...met a few mods (managed to kill one in the duel arena but he owned me in the rematch lol...it was then i realised he was a mod #-o) ive been at pest control for a while now and its great fun...got 81 attack yesterday and have been hitting nice round 30s with my trusty d long (using prayer and special but still its a 30!) pest control ftw!

when i was F2P i made my money by training on lessers...it may not be amazingly fast but you get some good drops and if you save up the sellable stuff and sell in bulk you can make some good cash. i also smithed steel bars for a while and made my first mil by doing that...although it seems to take forever its worth it. the problem i find with selling stuff is finding a buyer but the training way and saving up coin drops is instant(ish) cash...also good training.

GAH!!! WHY?!?! :wall: im using pest control to train my attack and strength and using my tickets for HP exp and putting the cash i make towards a whip... in my opinion this game was made so people could train together without fuss over whose monster is whose etc etc yes some people play runescape more than others and logically they will get "faster" exp but to blame them for it is silly. as for the PKing aspects of PC i think its a good place to train for it and the cash you get pays back for whatever you might have lost in the long run. i had a bit of a bad PK trip and spent my time at PC making back the cash i lost...which i did so im back to saving for a whip... i think those people who trained pre-PC and got high lvls shouldnt complain because PC will allow them to train their EXP higher and faster than before so they will still be ranked higher...so im wondering what they are complaining about. in closing these are my personal opinions (and your always entitled to yours...) i think PC is a good fun mini game that gives you good exp but you gotta still work for it (zeal) and its not a 100% chance of getting tickets sooo...STOP COMPLAINING!!!

cant remember a particular day but ive had some good luck on runescape. used to solo PK in deep wildy and had many a close call with clans (i didnt have teles lol) and managed to escape...thats pretty lucky i guess. my friend skitter seems to have all the luck as he was doing barrows and came across a pile of stuff someone left after dying and got himself a second whip...

lol they arent as cool as the mushrooms i found in the lost city of zanaris...

lol its the ol' penny on the floor situation... if you see a penny on the floor would you pick it up? the answer is usually no...its not worth bending down for. if you see a pound on the floor would you pick it up? the answer is usually yes because a pound comes in handy if you see ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã100 on the floor would you pick it up? would you try and find its original owner? would you run and spend it as fast as possible? would you keep walking? would you give it away to someone who needs it? its a question of morals...and the person who gets to make that decision is the person who finds it. you choose to find the owner and return it but that doesnt mean that someone else has to...its their decision what to do with it and regardless of whether that decision is morally wrong or right its their decision to make...sorry its just how the world works dude.

alrighty then... i used to play runescape a lot...i mean like 9-13hrs a day and i really enjoyed it. now i have a full time job (im here right now lol) so i dont play runescape too much anymore. but i do sit and browse the forums when i have a quiet moment and i spend most of my weekend training and trying to make enough money for a whip. runescape IS addictive...but its also a nice escape from life.

in PC im pretty spontaneous...ill run to the void knight to see if hes ok then ill head off to a portal and kill anything that gets in my way (to get those 50 hits) and then ill take down the portal (i usually go for purple first) killing any spinners that try and stop us. ill also take out any NPCs that fire projectiles at my buddy the void knight as this is usually what kills him. my plan is always to kill portals but if i see something that needs to be done (such as kill a spinner or shut a door) then ill do that. world 2 and world 6 PC FTW :D

world 126...maybe its like runescape heaven and you can only get in if your a god, mod or lvl 126? :D by the way this is my 126th post :D

ok i cant remember his name off the top of my head but i will edit this when i find out...im pretty sure his name is Vanneka or summat. when you first start runescape and you meet that warrior dude with the D sq who gives you your first bow and weapons (what a nice guy :D) well thats who i would fight alongside... but if i had the chance i would lead the kalphite army into the wild and go clan hunting...that would be so cool.

ok i know this sounds like a bad idea and your all probably gonna hate me for it but heres the idea... macroers you love or you hate em...and if you love em your either insane or one of them. now jagex have these systems in place to tell who is actually sitting there dedicating themselves to playing runescape and who is a computer programme pretending to be the first dude. now going through and banning all these rule breakers takes time and although we have the report function etc etc i was thinking... instead of banning these noobs why dont jagex give them a special skull symbol (blue hasnt been taken yet...) which allows everyone to attack them. they wont drop anything but they wont keep anything either (this is for fairness to everyone...i dont want dirty items that have been scammed or bought with dirty money and at the same time they have no right to keep them) now your sitting there thinking but how would that work wouldnt it take just the same ammount of time to go round and skull these noobs? well no (if im right about this and if not im sure your all gonna tell me lol)...if there is evidence that your rule breaking it would be in the code and when that code is picked up then you get the macro skull. thoughts?

no...really what would be the point? no WCer is gonna risk their neck chopping trees in the wildy specially if they are leaving their computer to play for them. i agree with thaimodz we should be granted the ability to kill macroers...if jagex ever released it it should be called "the power of durial" lol.

heh sorry i didnt read through ALL the previous posts so i dont know if anyone else has thought of all this but... you got one guy solo PKing in the wild...he stumbles into a small team of PKers and they of course jump him. WHEN SUDDENLY!!! whoosh a clan appears out of no-where (they all just cast tele to friend) to protect their clan mate and own that small team... you have a clan patrolling the wild in two teams and one team runs into trouble everyone on the other team casts tele to friend and rushes to the other teams aid (they would have teled to the leader of the other team) please look at these two situations from all sides: first of all its good for that solo PKer (but he would need some amazingly good friends and even better timing...) but that team that would have walked away with full rune and a whip (or summat) have now just been owned and are probably feeling a bit annoyed...such is life. if that clan had not turned up then you would have a team of people on just one guy and that aint quite fair... the second situation gives a clan a better chance in the wild not only could they split up to cover more ground they could then meet up again almost instantly and it would result in some hectic chaotic PKing :twisted: although it has to be said this could result in the first situation or something similar. what you might have realised is there is no right and wrong here it would give an advantage but not really an unfair one...if anything it restores balance. id just like to add one more thing...it takes two to tango so there should be some kind of block function...otherwise you could have forgotten your PM is on and all of a sudden what used to be a begging message could become a swarm of beggars teleing next to you asking for stuff lol.

gah! why would you want to ruin runescape??? in order to put runescape on a console you would have to change so much that it just wouldnt be the runescape we know and love anymore...
