No Update
Did you not read the Behind the scenes? So i wouldn't be surprised if it was a once a month update all at once.

Should Jagex allow us to hide advertisements?
That is true but when a P2Per goes to a F2P world for anything they have the advertisements as well. I've never had any problems with the advertisements so i don't really care. They don't make me lag or anything.

The treatment of F2P players
This really hit the nail on the head. However, there is a stereotype for arrogant self concieted P2P'ers as well. There are some, i will admit it. Okay make that alot that I have bumped into. I agree that F2P needs to get some updates etc. But it's the ones who expect it ALL for nothing. You know the old saying "Give them and inch they'll take a mile". It is the players who do this who wreck it for the rest of everyone. You never hear about the good players, only the bad and this is why the generalization starts. All you can do is prove the generalizations wrong.

This is a topic for general discussion items, this is merely a question [which has been answered]. Topic locked.

Moosecow1's Massive NPC Guide
I've locked this for two reasons, first reason is that it is in the wrong forum it should really be posted in Player-Made Guides: Monsters, Money-Making, Tips & Other the second reason is that it is best to post a semi what complete guide. Just to show what you are after etc, perhaps you could do some research on a few NPC's yourself then you can post it in the appropriate section. Best of luck.

Might as well not have sound (Mining rant)
Have you tried to split your screen? If you have widescreen it is pretty easy to have Runescape on one half and a browser on the other. This way you can focus on both pretty easily and is not against the rules (last time i contacted a mod about it anyways).

seriously its the rants forum
I found it rather ironic, that you are ranting about other players ranting in the rants forum and then people disagreeing. As someone as mentioned it would be boring if everyone agreed. This topic has been locked, remember the rants forum is for game related content.

why the heck did they increase membership fees to 6 dollers!
This topic has been locked due to spam. Paying 6USD is not alot, remember all changes to runescape including it's membership can be found by looking at www.runescape.com in the archives.

Are there any?
Moved to help and advice. Location would help with the answer, you can always use the phone option. I do it from my mobile and it costs me $12 Australian Dollars a month.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished in Runescape.
Moved to rants. I agree whole heartedly, I love to help people out all the time. I didn't like to charge people for services. Numerous people would ask things like "Oh Shaza can you please make me *insert item* i'll give you *insert cash here*" If someone asked nicely, i would do it for free, who am I to charge for clicking my mouse a couple of times. Sadly people just assume that everyone who says this is scammers. Many people use this polite, caring appearance to scam others. Well they used to before the latest updates. They just naturally assume you are going to scam them, even if they do not read what you typed first. Due to these people i do not help unless asked. I would prefer to be asked and know that the other player will appreciate my time than be accused of being a scammer and possibly losing the good status of my account. As for the bank glitch, i was not actually aware of this.

Drawball - New Recruits Needed!
Trolling is a bannable offense when the account was created for the sole purpose of trolling (as is in this case). Depending upon the severity of the trolling on other accounts will determine the type of punishment. Thanks for reporting guys, and great job with the drawball.

9/11 7 years later
This is a disastrous event that occurred several years ago. However having said that due to the fact this is still even after all this time a controversial topic, You all need to remember that; We all have different opinions, we should all respect each other for voicing these opinions. Remember that just because one may disagree with it's posting does not make them any less of a person. We all see things differently. But we all live in this world we should make the best of it. Any further flaming will result in this topic being closed. Bufoman is merely asking how everyone feels about the incident now but it seems many have strayed off topic (or not even read the first post) and just jumped straight to conclusions. As for my opinion, I think continuously reminding people of this event is holding America back. Yes it was disastrous, Yes it should not have happened but you cannot change it. You can remember the ones we lost, but from what i see many people are just losing themselves deeper in this tragedy. For me I remember watching the planes hit, the night (Australian Eastern Standard Time) I was violently ill, i had dreams of planes crashing all that night. When i got up for the seventh time in five hours, I found my mother watching television and there infront of my very eyes i saw the second plane crash in the second tower, I also remember the Fox News presenter shouting out obscenities at the shock of this, I also remember watching the towers fall and crying because I felt great sadness for those who lost their lives, those who lost loved ones and those who were running for their lives. As of now it scares me that there are people who wish to cause this destruction on their fellow man. But I go on, with the hope that things will change, and they will. It will only take time.

- Respect or Burden?
Honestly i have never been one to be enticed into the whole "rare" aspect of things, i can think of much better things i could spend all that money on (notably skills) and have no fear of losing so much money in let's say a single unforeseen disconnection or lag. I think they are a burden, but really alot of people like the attention which is why they buy the hats in the first place.- Should F2P Range Get A Boost?
Why not allow yew short bows, these are hardly used on p2p as it is, and would allow a market for them without giving the benefits of high alching yew longbows.- Playing RS using the one modem
You should be fine, three people in my household play runescape and when my boyfriend is over that makes four. Not one of the accounts have been done for multi-logging. I would suggest getting a router though not only for added protection but it'll allow you all to be on the internet even when the 'main' system isn't on.- Overlooked Training Spots
I did alot of my range there, setting up a cannon just passed the entrance there are so many npc there that the experience gained was great for low levelled range. - Respect or Burden?
