RWT is back and strong. How to combat it now?
I've moved this to debates as this topic has great potential.

Giving up on green dragons, reverants are too strong
Locked for two reasons. 1. Bumping an old topic 2. There is a sticky for ALL rants about reverants.

Lock Requests
Rarely if ever is a topic locked by request just for the sake of it. If you happened to find a topic that still has discussion value you are more than welcome to report the unfair lock or contact a moderator or administrator. I too did not like the first line of your topic but i can brush that aside. Silly silly, how could you possibly know that? I don't pay much attention who locks a thread. This is directed at you as much as it is directed at powman - Meaning you two were involved in the last instance before I posted this, but you're hardly the single cause for it. Anyway, what would be the point in PMing you specifically if you were just following regulations? I certainly didn't know what the procedure was until I posted this, and now I do. I was suggesting that the procedure be altered, not that some mods tighten up. The point is that you can get a clarified response and discuss the issue there instead of doing it openly in a forum. So fifty people don't post the same response and keep bumping the topic preventing topics that need being answered from getting a response. If people need the answer to the same question they could use the search feature. If you need weight behind a complain you must think it's not a legitimate complaint because everyone at tip.it values the community and you don't need to get ten people to stand behind you to be heard. In the mean time i have moved this to Forum Updates and Suggestions as this is a forum discussion and not really an off topic discussion.

Man I hate people (my weekend story)
The Queensland emergency department bites big time. If you are ever planning on being hurt don't do it in queensland.

o, im bleeding?
We were having a fun day at a coworkers place and well i happened to fall out of the pool (it was one of those were one side was lower so the water runs over the side into another bit) and onto my back in the lower section i got up and i was fine. Walked over the table and there was blood trailing down my leg. I took a chunk of my leg out when i fell (only a little one :P ) and i have a crescent moon scar now on my leg!

Sleeping Problem - Help Please?
Sorry to hear the best thing to do is: -Avoid caffeinated drinks. (No soft drinks, coffee or anything) -Try not to do anything overly creative reading a book is good, but doing anything that makes your brain work will keep it active -As someone suggested keeping yourself busy during the day may help. Best of luck and hope you get some sleep soon, i suffer the same problem sometimes. Unlike evil_mumm_ra who has the problem of too much sleep.

Share your Near Death or Scary Real Life Stories here!
Why is that whenever I hear a story about ambulances/police or any other services being late/irresponsible or whatever, it's always from Brisbane, Australia... From the looks of it, that place needs a makeover when it comes to such services =/ Oh my! You've heard other stories involving the emergency department from here? You are right it does need a make over one day, someone won't be so lucky and when they have a family filing a lawsuit against them for causing the death of a loved one i assume they'll change it. It always seems to take a death before they relook over things. Exciting? They are asking you if you are legal? Wow, that's verbal assault right there. Some police officers really do abuse their position. They should be showing people how to behave. :( Boxing a dog?!

I believe some staff use it when they have taken time off from staff duties so they are not bothered \

My kitchen caught on fire and i had to jump out of the kitchen with and explosion behind me (Picture it just like in the movies). I have pictures of my burns but they are graphic (Blood etc) so i can show you the day after at the hospital but that is it. If you desperately want to see the other pictures private message me about it, but they are not suitable pictures. Basically what happened was i was cooking with oil on the stove, i turned it all off and went into my room. I came out five minutes later with the house filling with smoke went into the kitchen and the pot with oil in it was on fire. Panicing i did the worst thing possible i picked it up and placed it under running water, it created an explosion like the one below: In my kitchen i turned and ran as quick as possible but my right arm was still in the way i fell onto the ground, and got up as the flames passed over me. I quickly ran out into the street (hitting my toe on the pole in the middle of the road breaking it) and screamed for help. We have gas in our house and i was concerned over that. Thankfully there were two lovely gentleman across the road who were ex firefighters they ran in and saved the day. Even getting burns themselves. Whilst they were saving the day i tried to call 000 (Us equivalent of 911) I was told to hang up and wait for someone to call me back. The fire department and Ambulance never came. I have since lost faith in the Queensland Emergency Department. If when i am in a dire situation and need help and i get told to hang up and wait for a call back. Those two gentle man put out the fire and used some grated potato on my arm to keep it moist. Thanks to them i am alive, i could've died there. My troubles didn't stop there when i got in touch with my grandfather he came and picked me up to take me to the hospital. The hospital staff were incompetent. They asked me what happened i told them, then they asked me what they needed to do to my arm. Do i have a medical degree. They made me stand in a room with my arm under a sink to keep it moist after i told them i needed water. I stood there for an hour in shock freezing my backside off. Then i had four different doctors come in, one said they would be sending me to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, another said just bandage it up and send me home, another said they would put a drip in my leg another came in and put a drip in my arm filled with morphine. So here i was losing consciousness due to the morphine (Mind you i had no pain whatsoever). They bandaged my arm sent me home and said it would be healed in one week. Well the next day at the PA hospital i was told i'd received third degree burns, my nerves had been burnt and i might even need skin grafting. I spent the next five months in and out of hospital every single day. Getting new bandages, getting checked over. Blisters were getting popped dead skin being pulled off, blood covering the sheets. I will be honest, it was hell and i wouldn't wish that upon anyone at all. I was lucky it was only my arm, i feel very deeply for the people who suffer it all over their body. It took over a month for me to regain feeling in my arm and that was the worst part ever. I had extremely strong pain killers that did nothing i just had to sit and bear the pain. To do this day i suffer mentally from what happened. I do not like smoke, fire, ambulances, firefighters, fire alarms. EDIT: To clarify i did turn off the stove, but we'd reported it numerous times the gas has a habit of turning itself back on -.- But what more can you expect from governmental housing. Why is F2P so quiet now?
I think it depends what time you are on. Yesterday i went into F2P on a new account i'd created and it was still the same old runescape :D a billion people were all trying to talk at once. But maybe as Shahrazad (Love you're name! ) they've all just gone on holidays :D

What lurks behind the frozen door, click here to see.
[hide=] It can't be the locations don't match up. But... it doesn't work like that. Lets use something you love as an example - cookies. You have a tray of cookie dough and want to make them rabbit shaped for examples so you use a rabbit shaped cutter. Now how do you get as many rabbits as possible for that space? You put them as close together as possible thus giving you more space. Apply the same logic to the dungeons. They fit them as close together as possible to save space. [/hide] Maybe but when that dungeon is over near Barbarian Outpost and the God Wars dungeon is on the other side it just doesn't match up logically. I'm sorry but for me, you're example just doesn't fit logically.

Wannabe Moderators.
Just because someone reports someone doesn't make them a "wannabe mod". Most of the time they are reporting for a reasonable reason. The example in your case i can understand why they reported. You are not allowed to reveal any information about where you live etc, it is just apart of the internet safety rules. I highly doubt they all "jumped" up to report you. It only takes one report to go through. As NJE03 has already said. Just be glad they understand the rules. Jagex and Player moderators need all the help they can as they cannot be in all places at once. Just like here on Tip.It the moderators need your help to report the topics that need to be removed/edited etc. It's a big team effort. But the people who sit there and report and go "reported" they drive me insane, just report them and ignore them simple.

Tip.It Rank Contest
I agree with Tripsis , we don't want anything that will require excessive going over. It would take too much time to go over. I do like caption contests but maybe we could take a different approach. I really like the mascot idea :D

How do you get your music?
Tip.It does not endorse anything that breaks the law. Just use a program such as itunes, the files are cheap and it's alot more safer (not to mention virus free!). This topic has been locked.

Justified Number of Refills
I think a two per person at the most standard drink with ice. You all may think it's "just water and syrup" but you need to add onto that maintenance of the post mix machine. Covering the cost of the drinks themselves per serve as well as delivery/quantity etc. Not to mention some post mix machines use Soda Water not water which is more expensive. But seriously i agree with Jem. I buy a small if i'm dining in, why pay extra. I always want a bigger drink than chips anyway.
