A sticky is a topic which does not move up or down the forum list. It will stay at the top of the list all the time. Only mods and admins can make them, they are usually used for important things such as rules or annoucments. There is also no need to be imbarrased. We were all learning at one point, you will get it eventually. :)

Hello everyone, I am having a few...Well ok, many problems with my pc's performance right now. I cannot access any of my folders. Nothing. When I try, it comes up with the "Windows Explorer has encounterd an error and needs to close" message. This happens everytime and it is really getting on my nerves . I have done several virus scans with several different scanners and have removed all infections found. The quickest and easiest way to install fonts: 1) Click start, then on run and type in Fonts. Press Enter. 2) Take your font and place it in the folder which appeared. It will install and you will now be free to use it. Note: When you move your font, you use make sure that the font is not in a zipped folder of anysort. It must be the pure file. Hello everyone I have installed Apache on my system perfectly, I can access the files in my root directory great, but I am having a big problem. I want people who are not connected to my network to be able to view my files by simply typing in my IP address. I am aware that ports need to be open on my router and I currently have port 80 open. Something like this cannot be made with HTML alone. To start off you need MySQL. MySQL is a database system and can be easily learnt (or by using PHPmyadmin), and in addition to this, you will need a scripting language such as PHP to name one. There are tonnes of tutorials on Pixel2life. Look it up. If you need any more help then give me a shout!
