I've been mentioned by name, my ego has never been higher It all depends on what kind of gamer you are, PS2 has a huge library with good gameplay. A PS3 has an unpredictable library at the time so if you are on a budget then id go with a 360

I'll admit that a few months ago all of my knowledge on the subject was sketchy, but I've learned quite a bit.I myself now own a PS3, Wii and 360 ( had a 360 for quite some time.) Since the last time I have argued with anyone I have learned much and talked to many. With the risk of sounding self-centered, I now know this topic better than anyone who has presented an argument on this forum recently. I have discussed it with many more people,not a single point I have brought up so far has been wrong, which is why you attack my old post and not my current. Did you ever consider that I might of been able to afford it with relative ease? it might not have any use to a gamer like you but it has a lot to a gamer like me, and its good at satisfying my needs. You know what the best part about being a Sony fanboy is? I didnt even consider touching the PS3 with its original boomerang design. Thats actually why I have the 360

How does the DS win? because it has a touch screen? a PSP can play movies, songs and much more high quality games and its all-in-one, sure they already have iPods and portable DVD players but can you get them both into one 200 dollar device that fits into your pocket? thats like saying it is pointless to have indoor bathrooms since you can go do it in a hole in the ground. Its just not as convenient the DS wins because people that buy video game consoles to necessarily play them. not to watch movies or play music. i have friends that say the games are so boring they just watch movies and play music. the DS, something actually new, it brings a whole new array of games plus it brings backs the classic games of the N64 Wait.... so it is better on a scale that is completely unmeasurable? Thought it would be. Most people dont want to play those kinds of games, especially teenagers. The majority of people that I know who have one are either little kids or cant afford a PSP

Its just not as convenient You could say it had a metaphorical meaning. The car being able to go to the moon could be compared to blu-ray. Both are pretty much pointless to the average consumer, the only thing they do is boost your experience but they both are the reason for the high priced product. Every thing in the PS3 is meant for improved gameplay. The blu-ray drive can enable developers to make MASSIVE games(MGS wants to use the full 50Gigs) and allows consumers to play in HD. The wireless and six-axis controller allows users to play without cords and be able to just tilt your controller for movement without getting up.

Why would they want to wait until after Xmas on purpose?

:-s You make absolutely no sense. Im into movies, but it's not as if you can download them over live like on the '360. It's not as if you can use your own regular or HD movies, oh no, instead you have to buy blue ray movies for even more money! "Move onto the HD them" is exactly what I want, so I went for the Xbox 360 which has over 10x the HD Games & Movies than the PS3. Now for the games, your better off going for the 360 because it have so many more exclusives, a prefected Xbox Live (Granted, you do have to pay for the 360 Live though, a minor drawback in my opinion.), more games already out, and it's cheaper per game. The pricedrag ($300-$400) is not very nice, but compair it to the PS3 and it's a bargain! Or if your into arcade games, you can always get those off-live, and you can get game videos, game demos, game extra's, all of which you can't get on the PS3 (Im sure they will get around to it someday though.) Top that off with the fact that it can play regular DVD's unlike it's counterpart, and you've got yourself worthwhile package. Many people are mistaken about what the think the PS3 can do currently, because they have been spoiled by the Xbox 360, and they have heard all of the Sony hype. Did you know that the PS2 has sold more copies that the PS3 since the PS3 has been out? For a final point, think about GoW & Halo 3 too. Does PS3 have those, of course not! Does PS3 have a better live than the Xbox 360 Of Course Not! Is it true that the PS3 will have more exlusives than the 360 of course not! Is it true that you could buy a Xbox 360 & a Wii for the price of a PS3? Yep :wink: . So after all of that, I would have to tell everyone, that currently, my favorite system of the 3 would have to be the Wii. Leave it to Nintendo to come up with a completely different way to game, and get off your couch while your at it. Plus it's about 1/3 of the cost of a 360, and about 1/2 of the cost of a 360. :P The PS3 can play regular DVDs, and blu-ray movies cost about 3 dollars more then a reg at best buy. Also the 360 cannot play 1080p, which is considered HD without an external $200 disc drive

Lets compare this situation to something which you might not be as ignorant about. Lets say car A has decent gas mileage, warranty, fits a lot of people etc and its $20,000. Then lets say car B can fly to the moon and cost $5,000,000. Which can the average consumer afford? BUT, which is better?

Alright, first off, the Wii is actually breaking off from traditional gaming, while the PS3 and Xbox360 are doing the exact same thing they have been since they started. I mean the games they made for their newer systems could easily be made for their older systems without any change whatsoever in the game play, sure they have a couple extra features, but they are GAME consols, not DVD(Or whatever the hell else they play) players or anything else, thus wouldn't it make more sense to do something with game play rather than see how many different features they can pack in there, because of all the extra stuff, Sony had to make the PS3 $600, and while they were doing that guess what they forgot to make? Decent games, none of the games they have out for it are acually good enough to be labled as must have games, which is a necessity for any game system launch, if they actually want to stay close to the compitition they have to have at least 1 must have game for their system, though currently the PS3 has none. As for the 360, yeah, its got a great library of games, several good features, so yeah, its a great system, though really, it isn't much of a step up from Xbox. As for the Wii, they are actually trying something new for a change, its got tons of potential, its game library isn't very impressive at the moment, but it does have one game that has been put as the #1 game of 2006 on many lists, suprisingly even over Gears of War, which I personally thought would be the top game even though I've never played it, and its got tons of what look to be some great games coming in the near future. Resistance is the current must have game for the PS3, critics call it better than Halo and Zelda. The Wii is for non-gamers, it has a poor future library for a big gamer like most people.

+1 Zune = Poop. Seriously though, me being a HUGE Apple fan. Apple have already sold over 60 MILLION! Ipods around the world. Now if you think that some nerd in glasses can beat that? Then I'm sure it wont. I'm quite happy with my Ipod Video + Shuffle. I'd never buy anything Microsoft related unless its an Alienware :P For a long time it was the only option out there and once there were better options Apple had already secured a good fanbase which most people wont leave

I've NEVER heard a vegetarian say that chickens are okay to eat because they're birds (reptiles, btw). I'd assume that chickens and cows were like.. THE thing to stay away from if you were a vegetarian. :? Chicken doesn't fall under the meat category, which I've posted in a discussion with eggs before . Its the inards of an animal and it has protein, of course it is meat.
