Not everyone wants to have BR shoved down their throats, especially when HD DVDs are the ones outselling BR movies. And I hope you understand that very FEW people have HDTVs. Even if they DO have the PS3, minimal changes can be seen on an SDTV. Not to mention the PS3 has NO games to buy right now, and is at the verge of losing exclusives because of its crappy production. I just got back from Best Buy, they had a few games on the shelves. None that really interested me though He didnt really make me look like an idiot, if anything he made me look like someone who doesnt watch enough TV. There is stil a very noticeable difference between an Xbox and an Xbox360 and a PS2 from a PS3, but if anything the Wii graphics are worse than a GC. You said the PS3 isnt any different from the PS2, just the fact that is has a lot of "ovepriced"(a stand alone blu-ray player cost $999.99 at best buy, Sony is definitely ripping us off) hardware in it that is "pointless"(Yea, all it has is the fastest processor ever made, better graphics, 10 times more disc space, flash card inputs, HDMI inputs, etc). But the difference between the GC and Wii is HUGE!! The Wii now has sports games and FPS, unlike the GC! HUGE DIFFERENCE

They havent had a single commercial in the US thats advertising its tilt sensitive controller, I could link you too all of them if you really want, besides I was pointing out that the Wii is just a GC with a new controller

Apparently you've never heard of Gears of War... On a note of graphics, I was in Best Buy checking buying some 360 controllers and I walked over to the Wii games and looked at this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... 8323613481 I looked at the screenshots on the back and it seriously looked like peak PS1 graphics. Maybe it was the lighting in the store, I'm not sure, but in thta picture it looked absolutely terrible. I mean, I know graphics don't make the game but no use flailing your limbs about you to drive a 3-pixel car. The games just came out.... you can't expect them to have eye popping graphics. Nintendo could have easily just gone and made a ridiculously(sp?) overpriced system with powerful graphics, but they chose innovation. No they couldnt of, theres no way a company as small as Nintendo could ever afford to risk mass producing top of the line systems with expensive graphics cards It seems Nintendo always needs some little gimmick while the rest of the system stays completely the same, I would have a lot more respect for the Wii if they had decent graphics and if their only marketing campaign wasnt "OMG 3-D CONTROLLER". When I first heard about the remote I thought it was going to be some clever add on to the system that you could buy seperately, but it turned out to be its biggest and only marketing campaign :?

You have that 4th group all figured out wrong or you need to add a 5th. There are a few kids at my old high school who were ABSOLUTELY brilliant but didnt do any of the work so they got bad grades, these people dont look smart, dont act smart and dont seem smart until you get to know them. You people think they are idiots because you try hard in school, do your work and study for hours on end and get good grades. Most of these people I knew who were smart passed every test but didnt do any of the work so they fail. The thing is that in easier classes like middle school and elementary school they could get amazing grades because it was VERY easy for them without doing the work so they got good grades. This developed a HORRIBLE work ethic for them, they never did any work in elementary school or middle school and then once they hit high school when it became harder they werent in the habit of doing work. I know a lot of people who get straight A's but are idiots, they just study a lot and do the work but barely pass tests. These kids are a perfect example of why the education system does not work

I don't understand what you're saying. A hate crime is basically a crime, but if you do it against someone who is not your race then your sentencing could be A LOT worse. All this does is seperate us into groups and supports the fact that we are all different

You cant complete end racism, but one thing the government does to support it is having hate crimes, that just supports the fact that we are different

Nadril- If you have seen some of my previous post on other pages you will find out that this is nothing more than a rhetorical question. Here's my guess: The modern day gift-giving evolved from the three Wise Men bringing Jesus gifts. Over the years, as new religions developed and Christianity itself changed, Christmas became less and less of a holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ. Sure, some people still do celebrate it for that reason, but now there are more reasons why people celebrate Christmas. Quite a few non-Christians celebrate it as a reason to get together with their families and exchange gifts to one another (three Wise Men). This idea probably came from some of Christianity's teachings such as loving everyone and all that stuff. People just celebrate it in a more general way instead of just celebrating the birth of Jesus. Things evolve over time. We really couldn't expect Christmas to keep the exact same meaning forever :P Again, just my guess :P But my question still stands..if it was a religious Holiday why take the religios background from it? I think that Christmas should be celebrated for its true meaning. I thought I answered it :oops: Not everyone in the world is Christian. Not everyone believes that Jesus does/did exist. So not everyone will celebrate Christmas for that reason, especially when we're this far into the game. I dont think anyone has ever been arrogant enough to question Jesus's existance because if thats what you are implying then my opinion of you has changed :uhh:

Blue pretty much nailed it, it was originally an in game company that was composed of the best smithers/miners at the time and they created forums to sell things and it ended up becoming a very successful place to chat There have been quite a few versions of the forums, I joined during the original DK3 forums(black and blue), I am not sure what was before that though. They switched from black & blue forums and upgraded to the newest because black & blue didnt have flood control and people could just spam it up.

You do realise that A LOT of songs that you consider to be great classics or rock ballads were originally written by Bob Dylan? Quite a few Jimi Hendrix songs aswell
