  1. my sgs heals more then your po-taters if i hit good my unicorn can heal me bazillions of times but only takes one invy space for scrolls my monkfish are cheap and i can fish em myself :s thats why =p What flavor is SGS? Sweaty hands
  2. Why are those 2 useless? the only fishing spot in wild is above 20 wild(way above..more like 40 wild)... chances of you surviving=~1% if you bank your fish. You could still powerfish there, but is that really in the spirit of the game?/sarcasm thieving were practically useless before...bad xp, and now you can't protect(50 wild + multi) But brawlers give 2x if in a PvP world and 4x if in the wild on a PvP world. So no brawlers are useless. You don't have to take the 4x xp when the 2x is much safer.

  4. Well, heres some food for thought. What if you look at the fact that while you train slayer, you are getting normal exp in whatever combat style you want to use. Does that affect how much of a "reward" you should get from slayer? Because hypothetically, your MAIN goal could be to get maxed melee combats by just doing slayer tasks. So then what you are really focusing on is training melee, but then you get tons of "Free" slayer experience, without focusing to specifically train Slayer. Very true. However, consider this: After a certain point, slayer xp is useless. That is different for different people. For most, it's after broad bolts/slayer dart at 55. There's little point in gaining anything after that, unless you simply want slayer levels. So unless you're going for 99/maxing, there is little point in training slayer after your break-off point. In addition, slayer is much, much slower xp than simply camping at the ideal monster. Dhing skeleton monkeys is 140k+ xp per hour. Slayer is half of that, at best. Armored Zombies are also over twice as much xp than slayer, and it includes that precious "profit" that slayer "offers". So if you really wanna look at the rewards v. time, slayer is pointless. Your greatest reward in slayer (at the present time), is the ability to use broad bolts and slayer dart. (Correct if you think I'm wrong, but I'm certain that every "reward" past level 55 has a better alternative that requires lower/no slayer.) After that, slayer xp is pointless, so you are essentially more than halving your xp for added no benefit. Of course, this argument is negated if you're aiming for the slayer skill cape. What are the "benefits" of slayer? According to Jagex, it's money and xp. Money: I've proven this, there are tons of better options that slayer. Xp: Slayer gives you much slower melee xp, not to mention ranged and magic. What about total levels? In all the time you saved, you could get many more total levels in skills such as fletching or cooking. So what good is slayer xp? It's good for level 55 and level 99, otherwise, it's pointless as well. It needs better rewards, but that could mean anything. Slayer needs better rewards for the huge amount of time and effort it requires. We don't need to give slayer an update like Spiritual Mages. The boots were way too cheap and they came way too often. We need something like boss monsters for slayer. Then there may be some point. I'd like to reassert that I also love slayer. My slayer level is fairly high and it's how I train my combat stats. I train slayer because I enjoy it. However, it is far too lacking in its rewards. If you name me one benefit of slayer, I bet you I could name you a non-slayer alternative that can do far better. Slayer is a great skill with great potential. But it needs better rewards.
  5. To the abandoned keep, I believe.
  6. No godbooks give negative ranged bonus, and I'm pretty sure the same goes for Spirit Shields. Best offensively would be the unholy book. Best defensively would be any of the spirit shields. Sigil shields cost a lot, but a normal blessed spirit shield only costs 2m. That's a lot cheaper than the DFS, and it doesn't give a negative ranged bonus the DFS does. All you sacrifice is a tiny bit of defense.
  7. Why are those 2 useless?
  8. Maybe more people will do Duel Tournaments now? Prospect of winning big, and it's safe as well.
  9. They dont yield a profit do they? But then it would accomplish the purpose.
  10. pizza = pastry : a lot of the votes probably came from f2p people who use lobsters/swordfish. That's what I put too. But in the back of my mind, my head was screaming to me that a pastry was referring to pies and cakes.
  11. Or they just get piled by a team of 10 dds'ers.
  12. I've seen people high alch them for 30k. edit just checked and there like 50k in kept on death. Why would you high alch a brawler? Ok, then you can't drop them. Nvm then.
  13. But brawlers don't have any value. Do they? I don't know. But if they don't...
  14. You will always lose them if you die. I guess you could drop them?
  15. Would that not just cause more inflation if items were removed?
  16. That squirrel has been on many of Jagex's newsposts. It used to be my avatar.
  17. I looked for the option for pizzas, I don't think it was there.
  18. As long as they're cleaned, you can. But you can also trade in potions.
  19. That's why you prepare ahead of time. Of course you'll get attacked. You should know that. You should anticipate it and protect pray the deadliest threat. And with d claws out of the picture and melee armor on, that would be teleblockers.
  20. i know but still think about it, you kill someone whic piety and then you get jumped, tbed and entangle your prayer cant help you anymore and the kill you got and useless unless you survive somehow If it's in low wild, you could slap on mage pray and immediately teleport, perhaps grabbing the lost valuable if no mages are around, but teleing soon. Once you tele to safety, then you go back to Edge Then you could jump the ditch, but still be in safezone. Then you could telegrab your drops from safety. But yeah, it's a lot more dangerous now. But isn't that the way it should be? If you're pking, you should go in expecting to lose everything you have, not to somehow stay alive and keep all your most valuables when you die.
  21. Well, no one can tell if you're using Piety
  22. I think that's the only thing you can rant about. Other than the higher price of risking for 26kers. I'm just a little unhappy that d claws have to be junk before I even got a chance to TDz seriously. But w/e, it's not like I would've done good there anyway.
  23. yeap more pjers and claw rushers who will rush and kill take stuff and tele more Well we do have teleblock. Cast that on any AGS'er or Claw'er and you'll probably send them running. but the fish still got away  , unless i chase it with my harpoon and kill it for ags and d claws Entangle?
  24. yeap more pjers and claw rushers who will rush and kill take stuff and tele more Well we do have teleblock. Cast that on any AGS'er or Claw'er and you'll probably send them running.
  25. But a dds is only 40k...sure you won't need to fear the AGS or D claws anymore, but for 40k, a dds is really strong. What's stopping the pj'ers from grabbing a dds? And now, there will be even MORE pj'ers because they know there's more to win. I'm not saying this is a bad update, but I just want all of you who are saying "lol gf pjers" to know that there's more to be considered. This is a step in the right direction. I hope it isn't the only step Jagex will take against 26k'ers.
