  1. If you went to f2p BH when it was still around, you would've saw a lot of people pking in god armor (not RWT). They use god armor to bait others to attack them, so they don't get skulled. In f2p, 1 hit at full health makes no difference (compared to p2p, when 1 hit can decide the entire course of the battle), so it's a huge advantage to be wearing god armor. So taking it away might not be the best idea.
  2. Does this make me feel better or worse? Better because I know that most players really are mature, if they try. After all, most 16 year olds can be well-mannered when they try. But I feel worse because none of them try in RuneScape. Turns out that it's the 16 year olds that act immature too, not just all the little kids. I mean, we all knew that there are 13+ people who act immature. But if only 4% is under 13, that means there are A LOT of 13+ people who act immaturely, not just a handful.
  3. This. Although the fastest PURE xp (as in melee and nothing else), would be dharoking Skeleton Monkeys. 145k+ per hour, best it's costly. Compare that to Armored Zombies, which are 100k per hour, but you profit ~200k.
  4. It's only +2 for both of them together... Save you maybe 1 dose over the course of an hour compared to 0 prayer bonus.
  5. Monkey skeletons are much^1342859 better.
  6. Bandos would probably only make you hit 1 or 2 higher, at best. There's really very little anyone can say to support it further than that. Go with Verac's + Prossy, and switch for Brassard if you want more defense.
  7. Um... yes they do? Did we not learn anything from the old BH? RWTers would die with trimmed God Armor in f2p in order to transfer GPs. I don't see where any of your reasoning is in that statement. Maybe it's that you've never PvP'd, but that's no excuse. All it would be is an extra 5 minute step. Then we have RWTing all over again. My first sentence was take the inventory out of the equation. I will simplify that statement. In other words it won't matter if they have 100Mil in their inventory as the player that kills the other will only receive as much gp as what the player that died was wearing, armor+weapon. The player that dies gets repawned wherever the respawn is at with no armor, no weapon and an empty inventory. So there is no way to transfer gold pieces as you can not wear them. And if someone buys expensive armor to die in then they had to use gp to buy it. I suppose that could be exploited by RWTers using the gp they usually sell outside the game to buy expensive armor and let someone kill them to get the value of the armor. The RWTers would also need an account that could wear the expensive armor level wise. Not sure about god armor requirements. That exploit might be combatted by instead gp in the value of the armor the player that 'wins'/kills the other could get the armor and weapon put into their inventory. That will require repeated banking though as it would fill up the winner's inventory. It shouldn't be to hard to tell if an account repeatedly dies wearing expensive armor. Also the armor should be limited to members only armor only used on members worlds. Jagex stated that f2p should be a stand alone game, so they should not be able to get members only equipment. As for the post below the one I quoted. This method does not just put more gp into the game. It removes the armor and weapon that has the exact value of the gp. It also removes whatever the player that dies had in their inventory without putting the gp it was valued at back into the game. If you are worried that the price af the armor and weapons would ge up do to the removal of some from the game, then jagex should set armor and weapon prices, or all prices would be fine with me, and not allow fluctuation. This is not an economic simulation game. that still completely allows rwt. *gets an members account to 40 def and buys 20 god Armour sets to transfer* and if they track who dies w/ expensive armor not only will that require a lot of bandwidth but what if you are rich and get ko'ed in bandos 3 or 4 times you want to ban them? You don't even need to get 40 defense or members. There's plenty of 1 defense and expensive equipables in f2p (rares). And when they run out you could go to Wizzy t and g robes. In members there are a whole lot more. Let's see...animal masks...and so on. And once you gain a few defense levels, it opens a world of possibilities. Bandos, dragon, armadyl, etc. Plus, the RWT'ers would [bleep]e up the prices by increasing the demand, making this even more effective.
  8. Flesh crawlers and Giant spiders would actually be the absolute best xp you can get in f2p.
  9. Zaaps1 replied to JAMjE's topic in Rants
You just have to time it right like you can bury bones when you attack aswell, it skips the little animation but you still get health/bury the bones. Try it. But as far as I know, even if you time it perfectly, you can't heal and hit at the same time unless you drink a Sara Brew (instead of eating conventional food).
  10. That would be a great solution. Maybe add that the people who aren't risking 75k can only attack people who are also not risking 75k (this is mainly for low level pures and people who 1-item fun fight). Then let the people who are risking more than 75k attack whoever they want. But what if the person risking more than 75k attacks someone who isn't risking 75k? Let it happen. Who cares? There's nothing wrong with that.
  11. At 90 defense, it's smooth sailing for me with a bunyip. However, if I didn't have Excalibur, I run into some trouble. I'd say you'd want AT LEAST 80.
  12. Rune would get ~200k per hour. Gold would get ~110k per hour. Adamant would get ~90k per hour. Yews would get ~60-70k per hour. Lobsters would get ~80k per hour. I would personally go with gold, unless you have 85 mining.
  13. Wow...ok...so there's one similar word... I could probably find you lots of ideas with the word "Divine" in them. Does that mean I stole of all of them in my Divine Equipment idea? No. It's such a common word, anyone has the right to use it. You've proved nothing. You could only claim the above if it's completely obvious that the word was made up by you and he stole it. Like, oh I don't know, Helixweaving, or something...
  14. I've personally tried. No.
  15. It's not "your" idea. You don't own the rights to it. And you don't KNOW that he copied off you. He could've came up with the idea on his own, and I believe that is what happened. And I bet thousands of people have similar ideas to yours. You don't have to right to censor them.
  16. The main problem with this is there is no legitimate way to gain EP. The only practical way would be to do it with a friend, or else everyone in pvp worlds would be at very low health and just get pjed like crazy. Jagex never intended you to "gain" EP. They made the EP system so people who went pking for a longer time would get better rewards. They did not intend for you to sit somewhere to gain potential. This is made obvious in the PvP newsposts. So with the above, it simply accomplishes the goal. The people who actually fight and pk more will get better rewards. Isn't that fair? Why not make it based on experience gained in proportion to the player's combat/total level? That way, you could gain EP by fighting monsters or skilling or even fighting players- then Skillers who are willing to put up with a little more danger can look forward to some nice loot afterwards. Imo, PvP and BH worlds are for pking and pking only. If skillers want to go there for less crowded training places, then that should be the ONLY reason why they should go there. Allowing them to gain EP is like asking for 26king. No. I believe that only pkers should be accepted in PvP worlds. While skillers are welcome to go there, they should not expect any rewards further than less crowded training.

  18. Will lower it slightly, But bare in mind its a "minority cape" I think at the moment there is < 10,000 players who CAN get it, and i think about 20-30% will actualy get it. But then i doubt they will risk in PVP as their "one item" as 3M could be spent on better stats elsewhere. 25 prayer bonus?! 20 to all attack bonuses and 20 to all defense? Stats are way too high, not even just the strength Consider that people spend millions on a zerker ring, that gives only +4 strength. Consider that the Zamorak Cloak, which is 1m last time I checked, only gives +6 prayer bonus. Consider that Bandos Chestplate is 16-17m and only gives +4 strength bonus, and has less defense than barrows. Consider that Bandos Tassets are 12m and only give +2 strength bonus, and have less defense than barrows. Consider that Verac's skirt is 100k-200k more expensive than other barrows legs and all for its +4 prayer bonus. Consider that the Fire Cape requires killing the second highest leveled monster, solo, with healers, as well as over 60 waves of monsters, and usually requiring multiple tries. For what? +11 defense, +1 attack, and +4 strength, and 2 prayer less than a trimmed skillcape. But now for only 3M, you get 20 to all attack and defense, 25 to strength and prayer? Even for the huge stat requirements, it's a no-go. You gotta tune down the stats BIG TIME.
  19. The point is to make it so people DON'T trick. That was his point. People would give up tricking because it wouldn't guaruntee a return. However, if they did base it off a percentage, it could become more massively inflated tricking. Let's say I have 500m..I decide to try tricking with my friend, losing 100m at a time. If you happened to get lucky getting the 150% of item loss value, you make a quick 50m from tricking. Kind of goes back to risk vs reward...but more so it's gambling, which I'm sure Jagex wants to stray away from(hence removing staking)... Of course, you could always add more restrictions to prevent it, but it's not really the route I would like to see them take. What if it's not based off a percentage? If you are 0 EP or 100 EP, you can still get 100% of the opponent's risk. However, the difference lies in the chance of getting that 100%. So it might be 1% at 1 EP and 50% at 100. That would make it better. So if you were tricking with a friend, you'd give up 2 hours and 2 mil to gain 1 mil.
  20. Why not plant the most profitable herb and simply buy the most cost effective herb with the money you make?
  21. The point is to make it so people DON'T trick.
  22. [bleep] you Jagex. Revert the emotes, don't mess with them more. Why? I think the emotes get better every time. For example, the dance and zombie dance emote are just awesome and the mime emotes look so much better. Old school dance emote was epic.
  23. You'll lose your SGS if you die with a Seren as well.
