I think it number was 6-7 gp/xp compared to 3-5 gp/xp. Honestly I'd rather get fast 20k faster xp per hour and lose 500K, because making money isn't as boring as superglass-make. In the end, it all comes down to preference. Well for 99 magic, that's the difference of profitting a few mil in 15 hours or so extra time, or saving 15 hours and paying 40m. Oh, I didn't mention this, but just as a side-note, Burst/Barrage also gives you hp xp, small amount of drops, and tons of charms. It is by far the best option, unless you do not care for hp or summoning.

Setting a minimum wage would simply harm the economy too much. Is you doubled the population of the US, wouldn't there be a lot more poor people? Wouldn't a lot more of them go hungry?

Try setting a minimum wage for a huge population? I'm pretty sure you are using extreme selective perception. What is your data? How do you know all bums in NYC eat a meal every day? Or are you just inferring that? I'd like to know where you backing is for what you are saying. I don't want to be rude, but it seems to me you are just pulling stuff out of thin air to support you.

I haven't checked/remembered, but if you can ice burst, do that at Rock lobsters. If not, then diamond bolt enchanting is extremely cheap (for magic) and is ~110k per hour (xp).

Minotaurs may work well too. Bottomline, the SoS is the way to go. Flesh crawlers are generally better xp (and multi-taskable), but at only 33 range, they're close. If you don't wanna spend money, minotaurs because you'll get tons of irons-more than you will use But flesh crawlers are fastest since you can power through them and not pick up arrows. You could do the same with minotaurs, but flesh crawlers do the job better. You'll go through your arrows at a decent rate.

Gold amulets. ~3-5 gp/xp, depending on prices. In all honestly, string jewelry is a terrible way to train magic. It's extremely inefficient. There are faster and cheaper options, or more rewarding but only slightly more expensive options. Faster + cheaper = Diamond bolt enchant/Plank make/Superglass make Rewarding = Rock lobsters. If you're considering String Jewelry, then you should be considering rock lobsters just as much, if not more.

Interesting. What are these safeguards? Do you have a link? Kinda confused still, if you hit constant 0s you are able to get pj'd, but if you eat you're also able to get pj'd. Does wind bolting solve this at all then? EDIT: @Dan. So then what's wrong with low-level ranged ammo? Low leveld range ammo you can get pj'd, the system apparently works (or is a bug which i heard somewhere) that if you have a hp bar above your head it registers you as in combat, so you can get pj'd after x time doing it. But when you air bolt (or any higher spell) and splash constantl, the hp bar isn't there because your splashing, while the game registers you as in combat, so people cannot pj you initially, because there is no hp bar, the system that is supposed to prevent 26king doesen't kick in, so you can never get pj'd. So it's like bug abuse? But couldn't you then shoot bronze arrows for 5 minutes, then leave for a minute or so, then continue?

75. Either way, go to AA. Instead of agility pots, consider summer pies. They also give an agility bonus and restore health as well, although you may not even need it. Still worth considering at places like Dorgshuun though, so it's just for your personal knowledge.

"best" is a very relative term. Fastest? Steam runes w/ 200k cost per hour and 82 magic requirement + lunars. Most rewarding money-wise? Craft your best rune using abyss, or ghraaks in the case of natures. Fast xp, but not wanting to pay a lot? ZMI w/ Ourania tele Fastest way to make cosmics is the Abyss.

It just puzzles me why trickers use Wind Bolt. Why not strike spells? Why not bronze arrows? Why not bronze bolts? Bone bolts? Bronze daggers? Out of everything, why choose wind bolt, which can cost a noticeable amount? What am I missing here?

I STRONGLY recommend you at least try cannoning them. Essentially, it's ranging them with a bit more cost and like 4x-6x faster. It's pretty basic. You set up the cannon south of the table in the Waterfall melee room. Then you use the south safespot (one with the door) the ENTIRE time (even if they're unaggressive). Then you load up the cannon, fire it, go to the safespot, and pick a giant. When it's out of ammo, rinse and repeat. Just note that if you are attacked by 1 giant, the cannon will stop cannoning all the giants and focus only on the one that's hitting you. So it ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that you stay in the safespot for as long as you can. Waste bolts if you have to. (Although there are times when you can't help being hit, such as when you're reloading or grabbing charms.)

Cannoning fire giants? It's fantastic. If you're in a single combat area, but you are ranging from a safespot, the cannon treats the area like it is multicombat and still shoots everything, even more than 1 monster. You can apply this to almost EVERY task. For example, you can do the same with Black Demons at Taverly Dungeon, or Hellhounds. In this way, very few tasks are "uncannonable". You should bring a cannon to every task. The only exceptions are tasks you MUST use the CTs, Slayer Tower, or GWD area to do. However, if there's an alternative location, cannon them there. You won't regret the speed.

Yes, the two biggest problems are loss of attack bonus and loss of magic defense. However, with a bunyip + excalibur/sgs, it shouldn't be too big of a problem.

Are you killing Fire Giants for yourself, or for random strangers? The cannon is just like any other weapon. Not using a cannon would be like giving up a weapon. If someone was annoyed because you were killing Fire Giants too fast with a whip and he couldn't get any for himself, would you give up your whip to make it "fair"? No.

You'd average something like 200k or 300k per hour, which is terrible. Better off powering teaks to 99, then runecrafting/green dragons/etc. In the same time, you could have the same 99 and much MORE money.

Try figuring out new ways to do your everyday tasks. For example, I did Black demons (melee) without prayer. It was fun to see the results. I also ranged Fire Giants at Waterfall while using a cannon, attacking nearly every giant in the melee room. That was fun as well, and also fun to see the reactions of some people. Cannon is ftw, just remember that.
