  1. You're right. Though, there is a correlation (note: correlation, no causal link) between maturity and level. With high level comes years of play and a lot of experience ingame. The rough edges will probably be gone by the time one hits a high level. I've seen on the RSOF that the maxed out players are more mature compared to the average RSOF audience. But in general, having a high level just means you've spend a lot of time on the game. Nothing more.
  2. Correction: not everyone wants to waste their time grinding on a useless 99.
  3. Well, I'm currently studying medical biology. I was hoping to get into med school, but that didn't work. I'll probably end up somewhere in research or a governmental organisation. Perhaps I'll cure cancer later :P
  4. The kids that are ment to be protected from swear words in the first place are the ones that swear the most. Jagex needs to learn that they can't babysit players. With the censor you might see a few ***'s now and then, but foul language can't be removed from the game. With or without the censor, the people will still be the same. It's not like everyone will just play nice with the censor in place.
  5. Well, I don't think you can sue over foul language, right? And you can still be not nice without having to use the forbidden swear words. After years of play with the censor, one gets creative. It serves no purpose. The only thing that is happening is that you see **** instead of the actual word, while EVERYONE knows what you mean. Hypocrisy.
  6. An average of 7 is an ok run for me.
  7. Hmm, you probably made some mistakes at your guesses and calculations. Let's see. 3 weeks, planting like one seed every 3 days (taking the lowest you mentioned). That's 7 runs. I guess it's possible to get an average of 12+ on 7 runs. Note I said 12+ cause you probably only remembered the very good ones + the few that died, and you didn't have any real numbers. It's absolutely not likely, but I guess it could be possible.
  8. Well you just made yourself a lot less credible. Like I said before, it is simply not possible to get an average that high over multiple runs. Not... possible... The fact that you're still denying shows you don't know anything about farming. It IS possible to get that high number of herbs from a patch or higher when your lucky. Therefore it is perfectly possible to get an average tht high if you strike lucky. I am by no means claiming its the norm or it wasn't extremely lucky. It miles miles and miles better than any average yeild I've had before and was such an unlikely outcome I didn't think it could be real. But I got tht average yield for tht 1 short farming stint. It was INSANELY lucky and I know that and I doubt I'd ever get that kind of luck again or even close, but I got it tht once simple as. One run: remotely possible. Two runs: Extremely small chance, not notable. Three runs: Not possible. I've farmed thousands and thousands of seeds, and when I got VERY lucky, I managed to get an average of 11-12 per patch. And that's ONE very lucky. To get runs with 15-18 AVERAGE for WEEKS in a row, no matter how many runs you've actually done is total nonsense. It's not even close to being possible. You're making yourself look silly. It's a fact that it isn't possible. So just admit that you were either lying or mistaking. That's pretty much my point, yeah. He said it was weeks in a row. And that, for a FACT, is a lie. And I doubt it was a typo. There's quite a difference between "weeks in a row" and "just a single run". Ergo: trying to show off has failed.
  9. Yeah I know how easy it is, doesn't make the GE a failure. That's just total nonsense and you know it. Price manipulation isn't a good thing, but you seem to have lost all sense of context.
  10. Cannon black demons in taverly. The topic starter mentioned he was poor ;)
  11. Dust devils are decent. Black demons are better if you can fight them.
  12. Lol. The GE is designed to make trades easier, which it does. Apparently it does its job, because people rarely trade the old fashioned way nowadays. Yes, price manipulation might be a nuisance, but in general, people like the GE. No [developmentally delayed]ed conspiracy theories from your hand will change that. Sorry, you failed.
  13. I hate how people that have barely any experience in this game tell me what to do. "y u slayin, u haz 99". Idiot. I can perfectly decide for myself whatever I want to train, and I don't need your [developmentally delayed]ed comment on that. [bleep] off and go train your pathetic skills. There, that's my rant on the subject.
  14. Well you just made yourself a lot less credible. Like I said before, it is simply not possible to get an average that high over multiple runs. Not... possible... The fact that you're still denying shows you don't know anything about farming.
  15. I think you didn't mean to quote me. No. It is simply not possible. One run with an average of 15 is already quite doubtful. And yes I do understand averages, and that's why it's not possible. Your either delusional or lying.
  16. "A lucky run"? You were talking about weeks of runs in your post. And that simply can't be true. One run with an average of 15 is already very high. I don't believe it when you say you've did more than one run with an average over 15. It's statistically pretty much impossible.
  17. Interesting how everyone here takes it from a practical point of view, and leaves the ethics behind. I know for a fact that vaccines, no matter what, will ever be mandatory here, since it is quite unethical to violate one's body without consent. I'm all for vaccinations, but I don't think making them mandatory is realistic. And flu vaccinations aren't that great at this point. Though, research is currently being performed to find out whether it's possible to vaccinate for influenza which covers the antigenic drift that takes place every year.
  18. Most worlds are far from full, so from a business perspective, it would be unwise. Gameplay-wise, I usually don't find it that hard to find a world that is empty enough for the activity I wish to undertake. And that includes popular stuff like abyssal demons.
  19. Epic story. All I want to say on this matter.
  20. Hypothesizing is mostly fantasy anyway. You should've read at least the summary. Hypothesizing is not at all related to fantasy.
  21. Same, in a few thousand seeds.
  22. The economy is still totally functional. Perhaps not in a way that you would have liked, but a "dead" economy is an economy where nothing is produced and nothing is traded. Clearly not the case in Runescape.
  23. You're lying.
  24. What is the point of this entirely fictional post with too much fantasy?
  25. 11 is not even close to a record. It's not even that high.
