You totally lost sense of context. How about a little less black and white? If you really think that little chat was anything *really* sexual you're sense of interpretation is just totally lost. Yeah, I know that making babies requires sex. But jokingly saying "making ghost babies" in some sort of chat context is not the same as walking up to someone and asking that person to make babies. Context. What's next? Banning people whenever they use the words "make" and "babies" together in one sentence?

Not so. If we perfect cloning we could un-extinct any non-human organism, as we could take a sample of the DNA from the organism before it dies out, implant it into an egg then use a similar species as the surrogate mother. Easy. Doing it before it dies out isn't "un-extinction." It's cloning an endangered species. And we've already done that. But as I said, there is an extremely high failure rate for the transplantation and any species that can afford to wait on that can probably recover naturally. Look at the buffalo. You can't do it with a similar species either. Human and apes as I'm sure you've heard share 99% of their DNA. But can't reproduce with each other. While you skip the incompatibility somewhat by preparing the fertilized egg beforehand, there are all kinds of problems you could run into during gestation. That just adds another factor for failure. Once we get to know the exact biochemistry of omnipotent stem cells we'll be a big step further towards efficient cloning. We will be getting there. No doubt about it. And then we don't have to clone a whole organism, but rather single organs, or organ systems. I did research on preserving and stimulating hematopoietic stem cells, and I must say, it all looks very promising.

Now you get into the time paradox. If someone went back in time and killed Hitler, history would rewrite itself to fit the change- And due to the repercussions, life could be very different indeed today. Before getting into the time paradox, you'd have to travel back in time. And I don't think that's possible. I don't think it's possible to reconstitute the molecules like they were in that time. And if we could, what would happen with the current "set" of molecules? It would be gone. Unless you'd create a parallel universe, instead, it would have to be connected with each other. So that the old created set of molecules that represents 1945 influences the set of molecules of 2009. That's just... too complex and sort of impossible. As for travelling to the future. Slowing atoms to the point of 0K, doesn't make you time travel. Time still progresses, but you've just halted your set of molecules. Provided it was possible to start life up again (not possible now, but aight) you'd simply have paused your aging, only to start it up later again. In short: no, time travel is not possible.

Haha, goed punt. Anyway, to stop talking in Dutch, I don't know about the Finnish and Portuguese, so I won't comment on that, but what the rest has said is true, the Dutch population of the game is really close to [developmentally delayed]. I hate playing on Dutch world for that one reason. That and that most Dutch swearing goes through the filter. So yeah, I probably won't use them, I'll stick to the English part before the average IQ on RSOF becomes negative. Lol, that's exactly how I feel about it. The Dutch population just seems more idiotic on average. Especially when you see two of 'em trying to talk English, it's just painful.

It is said to be 27k an hour if you really try. To me, getting max xp possible in an hour is just impossible. I'm not able to keep focussed like that. I think if you're going to set such a high goal, you'd be better off starting small first. Get lvl 75 or so first. You have no idea about what you're up to yet.

Well, I live on my own, so my parents don't have a lot to say about what I do. Although I think I'll have to command to a higher power again when I start living with my gf.

While I agree with your point, stuff like this is inevitable in the legal system. It's important to be consistent, because if they let this guy slide, then they'd have to let the next guy slide who said something just a little worse. For example, if you are someone who is 47.5 inches tall, you try to go on a ride with a 48 inch requirement, and the employee let's you on because "half an inch is nothing" then the person behind you who is 47 inches tall can use the same argument and be allowed to ride... and the person behind them who is 46.5 can say the same... and so on. It's a slippery slope so lines must be drawn and enforced. It's not a slippery slope. This is simply making something out of something unharmful. Sexual harassment? Come on. Where's the sense in that. That's just trying to get someone to break the rules and give him a blackmark, instead of balancing whether the user is at fault or not.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. But do you honestly want to give someone a blackmark for this? Explaining this as "sexual harassment" is just pathetic and extremely farfetched. The rules are there to prevent abuse. Not to nail every player possible to more blackmarks. This just isn't reasonable anymore.

OP: actually great one, enjoyed it very much, hopefully jagex will make more of those :thumbsup: 1. Already named it. 2. Not quite inside Zanaris, it only has the portal, and off you are. 3. Fungies suck. 4. Hardly anyone uses Zanaris to craft the runes. Abyss is the way to go. 5. Already named it. 6. Merely used as a teleport relay. Not actually something you do in Zanaris. Nice. Those graphics look great. Hopefully the quests will bring something to do in Zanaris. It's rather dead at the moment. It only has a black dragon cave and a slayer master, pretty much.

I agree. That update was small, but the impact was huge. I absolutely love it. Same goes with the path finding update. No more walking back and forth. Absolutely amazing. We benefit from that update with everything we do (well, except standing still at a bank or something).

Why do you only include quests and skills? Other content (squashing bugs, minigames, general improvements, new items, new monsters) take time to develop as well.

Never is not true. While yews are better xp-wise, I find that cutting magics at high woodcutting level (90+ or so) is more profitable than cutting yews.

Good idea. Though I'd like an overall overhaul of the chatsystem. Because, basically.. it just lacks handiness.
