I see. Thanks for answering.

RuneScape Economics Survey
Uh yeah, perhaps you could answer my question about what the purpose is of this study. I know your name, and your professor now, but that still doesn't tell me anything. I do presume you're doing this study with some sort of goal. Something you want to investigate. A hypothesis perhaps?

RuneScape Economics Survey
What exactly is the purpose of this study? What exactly are you trying to evaluate?

Do you multi task??
Yes, I always multi-task. If I'm not multi-tasking, I feel uncomfortable. Unless it's something that requires absolute attention and devotion. But that's not that often.

Rare Item Lending
Just let people decide for themselves if they want to lend out a rare, or borrow a rare or not. It's not that complicated.

Learning to accept myself...
I'm not homosexual though. I wish it were so simple. Bisexual then? Anyways, regardless of what your exact sexual preference is, it is absolutely not related to being a freak. There is nothing wrong with a sexual preference that is something else than being attracted to the opposite sex.

5 years of runescape 2.
Yeah, I don't like the better graphics, less notorious grinding, new skills, new minigames, new ways to train skills, new quests, gameplay improving updates, new armour sets, new weapons, new handy items and all the other things either. It was all better in the old days. I long back to the days where Jagex released epic content like the sheep shearer quest, and still being able to get scammed and hacked easily. Jagex should release a version of the game where they disable 90% of the content, add some nasty bugs and just generally cripple the gameplay so that we Old Timers® can finally enjoy the game again. Oh wait, that was RSC, where you could freely decide whether to go to RS2 or not.

Little Boy Father At 13 (After DNA Test, Not The Father)
"Good father" and "thirteen year old kid" don't go together well. No way he's a good father. He's still a kid himself. He knows nothing about raising a child.

Its called beta testing there LAZY. yeh normally a company would hire and pay testers for that. Instead you pay them to play their game, and they use you to keep from having to pay testers. sneaky sneaky sneaky I'm guessing a lot of people would love to beta test for Jagex. Why do it the expensive way when you can just let players play a beta version and let them find the bugs? Allthough there are a few disadvantages... you can't keep updates secret, and.. players aren't trained to spot bugs. They'll probably just.. play and encounter an occasional bug. But, since Jagex has to update a lot of their new content to fix newly found bugs, that won't be a problem.. lol.

Pray-X....GF Prayer Cape
Yeah that may be true, but what if the winner was agility, slayer, farming and or even RUNECRAFT..!?!?! imagine what it could have done..maybe to many noob members choosing something expensive and assuming its a hard 99.. pfft. Well, Jagex wouldn't have introduced an [action]-x for those skills. Those skills are entirely different in training so it does not apply. Also, I doubt the pray-x feature was based on the poll. Jagex policy in the last few years has been to remove the notorious grinding, as can be seen in cook-x and fletch-x, etc. Pray-x was a logical next step.
-
Since Pray X, Firemake X?
Jagex is introducing [action]-x to remove some of the notorious grinding that Runescape is known about. Therefore, they introduced pray-x, since training prayer on a POH altar requires a lot of wrist killing clicking. Firemaking is a bit different. You still click, on the logs, but it doesn't require the same clicking speed to be effective at it. So, less clicking, less need to remove any of the grinding. So I doubt we'll be seeing a lit fire-x.

Ending One-Iteming and PJ'ing.
This would make it very easy to manipulate GE prices. Just buy all the godswords you can at the current GE price, get yourself killed, collect the money and repeat. Prices will automatically rise.

Yeah, I understand that. I overreacted a bit there, but I honestly don't see any appeal in the dwarf storyline. The rewards were terrible, the story was lame, and the quests were boring. I know they're working on other quests, so even with a lame DD on one of those has to be better than dwarves. What about the Lunar v. Fremmy storyline? They've been in conflict for centuries and are only now beginning to find a possible peace. How great would it be if there were a quest about some strange demon thing which rose to stop this? All of the lunar quests were great, so if Jagex wants to be the community hyped up, they should've at least used a questline that had a better reputation. I think they're already working on other stuff. This is a quest that is at its starting point. In the mean time, Jagex will have to release a quest now and then, which means they have a lot more in their pipeline, and in a more finished state. Also, MMG said that the "actual" 150th quest needed some more development, which could imply that we do have some other (better?) stuff coming up.

True, but I'd like to see it incorporated in some sort of story/diary that actually has something interesting to say. I mean, sure.. a developer can lay down his ideas.. but this is nothing more than a couple of brainfarts. Vague ideas about what the quest could be. I mean.. that's what I've had come up with if I were interested in guessing a plot in a next dwarven quest. The idea is not bad.. the actual product is.

Weekly Poll: What 99?
Exactly what I'm thinking. Getting 99 slayer was a piece of cake, while runecrafting is currently agonizing me to no end. I'm going with rc aswell.

Or just plain don't like it, accept the fact that Jagex released a plain dumb piece of crap they call a DD and continue playing an otherwise great game. Well, that's what I'll be doing.

Once a great game. A story/Rant for veteran players.
I just thought a bit about that... Raw fish have been more expensive than their cooked counterparts since cook-X and guthan being stable if I remember correctly. It shows these skills are popular. So Jagex did a good job with [action]-x and skill capes.. since it gave people an incentive to train the skill. That ended up in raw fish being more expensive than cooked. To me, that implies that raw fish is very popular, which in turn implies that skill capes are popular.. and that is easily witnessed ingame. A lot of people walking around with a fletching/cooking cape. I don't know.. but something popular makes it sound like Jagex made the right choice. Skill capes a disaster? I wonder how big the riots will be if they're taken away... Oh, and those people saying that it was better in the old days really need to [bleep] off. Get over it. The game isn't going back to the craphole it used to be. Bad graphics, less content, less convenient gameplay. Seriously, [bleep] RSC. I'm never going back to it. And the community? Scammers, beggars and the same pathetic morons that nowadays still roam the world. Allthough today's community is far from perfect... it wasn't exactly all that great back in the RSC days. It's just a fallacy made up by whiners so that they can continue to keep ranting about how great it was in the old days. Seriously, just quit the game if you don't like it, and if you really believe it's all that bad. And whining about isn't going to change anything. Jagex owns this game and the fact that their profit still increases every year, despite attracting more employees and increased costs proves that they are doing an overall good job. It proves that people still like to play the game. And in greater numbers over the years.
