  1. Obviously. But that's not the point. With this piece of crap, they've given us nothing. It's a brainfart from a developer. If they want to make it blog-like, I'm all for it.. but this is just nothing at all. A lot of arguments, but none apply to what we're seeing here. Fact is, this "development diary" is very, very brief, and hardly gives us any information. People have reasonable arguments to complain about that. It does not automatically imply that the people who complain would not be able to be pleased about anything Jagex does. That's a fallacy. All there is to it, is that a developer says that he hasn't done [bleep] all yet, but does has some wild ideas about the quest he will be developing... and it probably won't be out in months. I mean.. seriously.. give us something to read when there is actually something to talk about. Not just wild rambling out what it COULD be. A user with a bit of fantasy and interest in the storyline could have written this. And would probably be able to do it better.
  2. THEY ARE JUST STARTING !!!!! I know, don't release a "development diary" then. Or just give a short notice or whatever. This is just crap. They are going to update it when they finish it a little. They should have done that before they released this piece of crap. Now they've tried to make us happy with a dead bird. This is just... nothing. So wait till you have some actual stuff to tell us about.

  4. Probably an april's fools joke.
  5. What the hell... This wasn't a development diary... it was a brainfart from a developer. Seriously, how can they call this a development diary? I don't rant much at Jagex, but this is pathetic.
  6. That has always been the case. The clicking part wasn't hard, ever.
  7. Yeah, but what's your point?
  8. Yes. I'm entitled to my own opinion.
  9. Your posts gave me a different feeling though. But I'm glad you've made yourself more clear.
  10. Great. Only 685k people are doing better than you. 1/10 Fail.
  11. Lies. Whip works great, and you get a lot of rune drops, along with the occasional dark bow. Even when using pray pots, I always make a very decent profit from a dark beast task.
  12. Yes it requires the MEMBERS ONLY quest for piety, but you can use it in f2p............. If it's not a bug (sadly it is) this would of actually been a good update. Yeah, because giving everyone all the possible prayers without any sort of requirement is a good thing. Why don't we just ditch the whole prayer skill?
  13. How would resting be involved in any skill?
  14. So you think you're so much better than other players, that you don't have to pay the higher price? It's very kind of Jagex to let the older players pay the old price, not a lot of companies would have done that. Also, Jagex never increased their member prices, up till now, which is pretty much amazing. And by the way, they stated this clearly when they introduced the higher price. It's your own fault.
  15. Prayer has been pathetically easy to train ever since the POH altars came up. Now, they changed it so that the xp is slower, but your wrists are saved. You still have to buy all the bones and bring them to the altar and such. How would that make a prayer cape "nooby" all of a sudden? The xp is slower for crying out loud. And due to this update, dragon bones are increasing in price, making it even more costly.
  16. But we have a lunar spell for that. That would pretty much make that spell obsolete. I doubt Jagex wants that... but it does seem like the most logical explanation.
  17. Jagex isn't there to personally please you. They have given us various fixes along with some content. If you don't like it, that's too bad.. but they can't please everyone. I personally am very happy with the latest updates to the game.
  18. Still does not change the fact that March's updates were CRAP and we only got ONE piece of content. That's your opinion. I think march was great. I especially loved the route finding update. Not a lot of new content, but a lot of improved gameplay. Jagex is not to blame for the fact that you don't like their updates.
  19. Exactly. Getting 99 pray is still incredibly easy.
  20. I wish they did.
  21. That, and with the new CEO, Jagex has expanded on other areas.. like getting into contact with fansites, using Twitter, answering a lot of questions from users, events with Jagex mods, etc. And he only just started. I think he's doing whatever is possible to keep things running. Allthough it can always be better, I think he's doing great.
  22. We should have the choice at least.. I do agree, but that doesn't mean the skill is ruined.
  23. Lol... sure a skill is ruined just because the training method is a bit slower, with less clicking involved. Talking about overreacting...
  24. True, but before they were dropping maximally each trade. Now the drop seems to be stagnating. Which could imply that phats have hit rock bottom.
