9th April 2009 - New Dwarf Quest: Diary 2
No, that's why Jagex doesn't release a diary for every goddamn quest.

Speculation Subforum?
A big part about discussing Runescape related issues is discussing about what might happen in the future. Logically, a lot of those topics accumulate in general discussion. I simply see it as a part of a normal Runescape discussion.

People who have multiple accounts
Why would you care if someone else makes multiple accounts? How does that affect you? I'm fine with it if people want to cripple themselves by training on multiple accounts. Just let them play the way they want.

99 range untrimmed no chinned!
Not chinning doesn't make the achievement any better, but still.. it's a decent 99.

Welcome F2P! (To the forums)
The only person who needs to rethink is you. And they have reimbursed you, you're muted by the looks of it (your rsn). It's amazing how five dollars can change someone's personality so much. Elitist members are what ruined the forums long before f2p'ers came in. Amen.

Nechryaels, the 80 Slayer monster, deserve better Drops
Rune boots used to be about 200k before the dragon boots were introduced. I think that's the reason nechs don't have a really high drop anymore. Though, if rune boots were still 200k, the amount of rune boots dropped would be significantly less, I think.

Nechryaels, the 80 Slayer monster, deserve better Drops
Nechryaels drop rune boots quite often, which adds up. They also drop a lot of herb seeds and give you decent amounts of death runes. Imo, nech drops are quite decent and I always enjoy them when I get them as my slayer task.

Oh Jagex, Why do you hate my Rubber Chicken? [Lock Please]
Well, I guess that's another reason not to care about it. Your reason to justify completely senseless whining?
-
Oh Jagex, Why do you hate my Rubber Chicken? [Lock Please]
Wow, look who's talking. Mr. flamey himself. And no, you didn't say you were special, but your whining, excuse me, ranting does give me the idea that you do feel special. I don't know why you would complain about other people being able to do the same with an item as what you can do with something you've got a few years earlier.
-
Oh Jagex, Why do you hate my Rubber Chicken? [Lock Please]
Ok, so you're not that special anymore. Big deal. You can hardly call this a mistake. They felt that other people should have the same opportunity as people that owned a rubber chicken, so they introduced the carrot. It is by design, not a mistake. You're not any better just because you played in 2004.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Merchanting has nothing to do with markets crashing. Merchanting is the process of buying low and selling high, and it takes a certain bit of skill to do it. What you refer to is mass price manipulation due to mass buying or selling items. People hate merchanters because they're jealous. They don't have the skill to make money with the simple process of buying and selling. It has nothing to do with the current economical crisis as well. That's like TOTALLY unrelated. (Note that I do not merchant at all)

Runescape Easter update!
I translated it as well, since I saw a few mistakes in yours. A new event on Easter! You should feel sorry for the easter bunny: when he came back from vacation, he saw that it went totally wrong in his factory... and that unless someone helps hem, there won't be an easter this year! The easter bunny seems to have been here forever. Or not? What makes him immortal? This easter all will go totally bad again in his factory, and he needs your help to fix the problem. You get the chance to repair impressive machines, and you need to deal with a few colourful (but not very helpful) creatures. In Splitting Heirs the free players get an idea from what it is to catch implings. This event will continue from previous events. If you already did an easter event in the past, you'll recognize a few things, like the easter bird from 2006. Find out how the easter bunny can live for so long and earn a new weapon. What are you still waiting on? Go find the easter bunny!

Iowa, and now Vermont, Pass Same-Sex Marriage Laws
Just like every story in the bible. Hello Mr. Biased. Biased or not, he's right.

How do they now? Lure people into giving money by playing on their guilt. Stop trying to demonize the church, their intentions are good. I'm just displaying what it is. And I do believe that the institute called religion has a bad influence on the world. Though, the intentions of an individual believer would quite often be alright.

Uhm, to get this clear.. there is no single gay gene. There is evidence about a genetic factor influencing sexual preference.. but it's never solemnly one gene, and this type of multi-factorial ""abnormalities"" are never caused by merely a genetic variation. Your environment plays a role aswell. Just like with cancer, diabetes, and stuff like that. Do note that I do NOT want to call homosexuality a disease. A disease is something you suffer from. Homosexuality clearly is not something like that. And since so many people are gay, it's merely a variation in the human population.

How to know when you're over a game
Getting tired of a game is quite natural. And I do think you'll be back after a break. At least, that is commonly observed.
-
Iowa, and now Vermont, Pass Same-Sex Marriage Laws
It has nothing to do with religion, it just isn't natural. The bilological purpose of sex is reproduction, the fact that it feels good is just an incentive. It is natural. People just feel the attraction towards the same sex, rather than the opposite. It's just how you think. Kind of like someone who finds pleasure in killing people. A minority enjoys seeing people suffer, the majority will think it's sickening. But the person who finds the pleasure in killing didn't really choose, "I think I'm going to start liking killing things." Sure. But that's surely an abnormality. This clearly is something that isn't experienced often in our society. And, more importantly, that behaviour violates the rights of other people, while being gay does not.

It has nothing to do with religion, it just isn't natural. The bilological purpose of sex is reproduction, the fact that it feels good is just an incentive. Wrong. It is natural, but you can call it something that was not intented like this by nature (or the bearded guy, if you believe that crap). Surely, we wouldn't have come this far if everyone was gay, and it would be... rather awkward if EVERYONE was gay, but it still is a commonly observed feature in nature. You could call being gay an "abnormality", also due to the fact that most homosexuals have a few parts of the brain that differ from the average (straight) person. But that is absolutely no judgement or moral qualification. It just is what it is. And it ain't wrong, doesn't hurt anyone.
-

It is natural. A lot of people are homosexual (6% in my country) so not quite an extremely rare thing. Also, a lot of animals can be gay. For example, fruit flies become increasingly homosexual if the temperature decreases. No, I'm not joking. There's nothing wrong with homosexuality. Implying your (religious) morals on other people is just pathetic. Just keep it to yourself and don't bother other people with it.
