  1. The sole reason why I still train fletching occasionally. No more frenzy clicking. I love it.
  2. Oh, I just presumed they gave us the option. That's a bit of a let down then...
  3. I have no need for people that think they can judge my motivations without even knowing me. You can still train prayer manually. This just gives an option for the people that prefer not to grind. Nothing wrong with that. I genuinely think it's a good option to implement, irregardless of the fact that I've trained prayer already.
  4. Yes, but when you click it.. it says coming soon. Will be fatigue/sleeping bags, I hope it is 'cause this will make all Jagex's efforts to stop macroers back in their face lol. They should have kept the random events as they were and not bothered with fatigue/sleeping bags. I doubt sleeping bags will be back. Jagex removed it for a reason. It failed horribly. Also, randoms are still here. Why? They have macro detecting systems. Jagex can detect macroers without the input of randoms or sleeping bags.
  5. And thus removing the whole point behind training a boring skill. It's like auto-completing an agility course. No, because you still need to buy the bones, bring them to your altar, light the burners and reload. The clicking frenzy just had no point, next to destroying your wrists. It costs more time now, you're just saving your joints. Of course you dont see whats wrong with it, you got 99 already. That's a load of crap. Please keep your arguments to yourself.
  6. Elaborate on the "why" please. I don't see what's wrong with it. It isn't faster, it just removes the clicking frenzy.
  7. Yes, but when you click it.. it says coming soon.
  8. So you're saying listening to the wishes of the community is wrong by definition? I don't see why that makes any sense.. when players are able to come up with decent content, and Jagex judges whether to use or not use a particular idea. Jagex gets new ideas to base their content on, players ocassionally get what they wanted. We all benefit.
  9. Awesome achievement for F2P. Good work.
  10. mIRC is absolutely safe. Nothing wrong with it. Millions and millions of happy users over the years.
  11. Because forums can get messy if someone decides to trash their own posts. It's generally unwanted to trash posts. What if you posted in a thread.. some people responded, and you decided to delete your post? Next to that, since there are only a select few valid reasons to actually delete a post, it's good that only the moderators are given the possibility to trash posts.
  12. What does tip.it membership have to do with anything? I've played longer than most people here, but didn't bother coming on forums for a long time. I do agree with you though. Thank god it's not the game it used to be anymore.
  13. When I follow that link, it says the price is 15. That's like twice what 10 dollar is worth. What a flipping rip off.
  14. Yup, it is filled with 90% immature kids. And yes, I definitly agree with the fact that it will be flooded with those same kids trying to flame him. I also agree with the poster that Jagex should NEVER have given into the immature kids demands and that it was the immature kids that bought the runescape gold hence all but ruining non LS monster killing and merchanting. Where did your supreme knowledge of Runescape's demography come from?
  15. Congratulations, you've just reached lvl 99 patheticness. Nobody here thinks you're cool, and your mommy won't appreciate all the naughty things you post online. Gtfo the internet and get a diaper change.
  16. In your sig? And I think there's an advertising sticky somewhere.
  17. Yeah, keep the money. Why spend money, just to spend it? After a while you'll find a goal to invest some money in, and then you'll be glad you kept it.

Newsflash, Jagex has control about everything. Doesn't mean they always act like their in total control. Jagex is able to control the prices now, but still we players decide whether a price goes up or down. Ocassionally, Jagex changes a price, but that is only when they feel it's necessary and when that particular item has a price that is not conforming to what it should be regarding the prices that people want to pay for it.

RS changed for the worst because HE doesn't like the game in it's current form anymore. So to put Jagex in a shameful corner, all sorts of bad things are made up and attributed to Jagex, like them being communists, or blaming Jagex for not being able to let his friends like the game anymore. Whether one likes it or not, Runescape changed and it got better. Why? Because Jagex attracted more members over the years, made more profit, therefore hired more people, put more input into the game, etc. Generally, they expanded enourmously and there are only a few games that can say the same. Though break for people that think that Runescape has been changed in a bad way, but that's just their opinion. An opinion that doesn't voice the general opinion about the game. If you don't like the way Jagex changes the game, quit. It has been said numerous times before, but it's the only thing you can do. Or, create your own Runescape, and see if you can do a better job, and create more profit. Then I'll say you're right about Jagex. Up till now, all those complainers are proven wrong by the fact that Jagex and Runescape are expanding and still attracting a huge amount of players. You can't deny that. Your personal opinion about the enjoyment of the game is not generalizable to the whole game or company. It's fine that someone has their own opinion, but don't expect Jagex to give a crap when so many players like what they do. The Grand Exchange is a fine example. It's so succesful that people barely use "normal" trades anymore. If you don't like the way the trades are performed right now, then that's your own opinion, but that doesn't mean that Jagex is doing anything wrong. They created something that a lot of people like, and only a few dislike. By default, they are right, and your complaints are void. In short: GTFO.
  20. Why should F2P players be punished more severely than P2P players? If someone doesn't obey the rules, his or her play status is irrelevant to the sanction. F2P players are normal human beings aswell.
  21. And that's exactly the same for a whole lot of P2P players.
  22. Just fooling around brings in a lot of cash, if you play long enough.
  23. Nicely balanced. What are your next goals?

No, I have no need for it. Don't mind anyone doing it though. It's quite common here anyways.
  25. The community wasn't better in the early days. Perhaps in 2001, when the community was still very small. But a mature community in 2004? Lol, no. Absolutely not. It's absolutely outrageous that you blame everything on younger players, without a single valid argument. I'm a 21 years old myself, but I'm getting sick of people trying to blame everything on younger players. Sure, they can be a nuisance, but no, they're not responsible for a bad community, nor was it any better during the early days of 2004. I remember there were a lot more scammers back in the early days.
