  1. It increases your sucess rate. I feel happy now; I taught a level 123 something.
  2. Beneath your name the words "temporarily banned" are written... I wonder why? (sarcasm)
  3. My advice on enemies in dt: (I posted this in another thread too.) Dessous: melee/prayer armor (proselyte) and pro melee. A few p pots maybe, but a lot of sharks. Super set, dds him. Kamil: weak to fire spells, chaos gauntlets + fire bolt him. For every 10 seconds you spend beyond the gate your stats (including hp and prayer) will be drained by one. Restore pots are important, the more super restores you have, the less you will need (ordinary will work, you'll just need more.) Inventory something like this: 6 p pots, 7 restores, 9 sharks, super set, 1 invo tele. Last two spaces are for runes. Make separate trips for the trolls with same equipment. Pro melee against kamil AND the trolls. Both are dangerous with melee. Kamil will OCCASIONALLY use ice barrage. Unlike a normal ice barrage it can only hit 5, however, it will always hit 5. Don't try to run, if your getting owned tele. Run = frozen and constant 5's. Fareed: a pushover, bring ice gloves or you can't wield weapons. Pro melee, decent mage defence (even green d hide here people...) He can cast flames of zamorak, but he rarely does so, and it's VERY innacurate. I was hit once, for 10. A word of warning, his melee is fairly strong, I hear, though I never found out for myself. super set, dds, a few p pots (maybe 4) and the rest sharks. Water is especially effective on him, but you probably won't need it. Damis: too anyone who says npcs' are weak, I challenge you to fight 1 of these three things: koschei the deathless, tz-tok-zad, or... damis. He has two forms; one is level 103, the other level 174. The 103 is a pushover, no prayer or pots needed, maybe 2 sharks at maximum. Once he is "dead" damis will flip out, and his second form will be revealed. You MUST pray against him, or he will tear you apart. However, when he hits you, he drains 3-7 prayer points every. Here is my reccomended inventory: 16 prayer pots (4), 9 sharks, attack half of a super set (maybe the new combat potion in here?) and a 1 inventory tele. Super set, prayer up, dds and chug pots. (at maybe 2/3 of max prayer bring it back up) Wear prayer bonuses and attack bonuses. (proselyte, zammy symbol, climbing boots, zammy book, and dds.) You could drop a p pot for a d scim if extra damage is important to you. There are two alternate methods to dispatch damis, although I personally used the one above. Snare- Earth wave method: Damis is slightly weak to earth spells, so a combination of entangle and earth wave does work well. Considerably less p pots are needed for this tactic, although be sure to have prayer and another entangle ready when damis breaks free. Your main risk is that damis takes out your prayer when he breaks loose. (try to keep a skeleton in between you and damis.) A friend of mine did this with snare and it worked for him. Entangle is better though. Poison and hide method: Not a good idea, the point is, damis can be poisoned and trapped behind a torch. Damis has this annoying tendency to not get stuck and beat you up though. Skeletons (level 80) will attack you, and retaliate can lure you back out to face damis's attacks. And poison must be renewed. (Damis has a lot of hp.) Hope that helped Smile
  4. Or maybe you could use thewatchtower teleport.
  5. Pm me, I'll go. Level 94. (I have to repair my verac though.)
  6. The exp difference per level from 70 - 99 is insane. For a 99 you need 13m some exp. At 70 you have about 750k exp. Take that into account. Set yourself a more reasonable goal, like 85 (which is what I'm going for in strength) then move on to like 90.

  8. How about a rock!?! If you want to try, pm b rad29, I have a ring of stone.
  9. With 50 range and no hope at all for a fire cape, I personally prefer my new quest cape to my obby; simply because it has the same bonuses and is cheaper. My obby will always have a special place in my bank though...
  10. He's right, 52 doesn't work.
  11. I never cared much for trimmed armor; get full rune + scim and kite. Amulet is personal preference, I use strength.
  12. Thieving is a lot of fun and with a decent strategy at pyramid plunder awards great xp and makes some cash with pharoah sceptres. I get people to run me food in exchange for all my non sceptre loot.
  13. *Hears the word herblore and leaves the thread immediately*
  14. I have 63 thieving, and the chests are in a tower north of ardougne. Even with two chests, the respawn time is too slow... I need a better way to collect blood runes, or someone to confirm that I'm currently using the most efficient way. Thanks for the tip about barrows, with the burgh de rott bank, that could work well if you don't have to kill any brothers.
  15. 1withdragons replied to Viv's topic in Help and Advice
I've never liked whips myself; no str training ability at all.
  16. Which is a faster way to get blood runes? 1) Thieve from chest in ardougne. 2) kill bloodvelds. 3) kill ankous. 4) barrow for the runes without killing brothers. (added after game proffy's suggestion) Please don't tell me to buy from other players; i'm busy saving for my fury.
  17. Something is seriously wrong here with these mass bans, perhaps it's karma?
  18. With my famous luck, I'm next.
  19. Contrary to popular belief you lose the spear when you die. Don't ask how I know that... The helm is just a rare item from barrows. (It's also my only barrows drop.)
  20. To someone with 200+ quest points, it's just a place to kill chickens in mem.
  21. Your greed disgusts me...
  22. Personally, I support drop trading (support, not practice.). But multiple logging in? no... What if that pure could get his other pure and his main to help him own you? Just... no... A WoW system on sending money would be nice.
  23. I dropped mine for bank space...
  24. Point one: pharoah sceptre Point two: I use a scim with ancients (str training, I dislike whips.)
  25. Look at her stats, reasonable that it could work. But I'd never consider anything other than verac'ing at kq. 50 range for life... (60 soon for all quests actually...)
