Olympics 2008
If you live in America, you can watch basically all the replays (And a lot of stuff live) here. If you don't live in America, try to find it on the channel website that broadcasts the Olympics. And am I the only one who finds it kind of coincidental that a guy named Bolt bolted 100m?

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Thread!
This thread is dead, post in the other one. I was going to but that didn't have anything to do with the game, it was just about playing agianst eachother, so I found this one and posted. Olimar pwns! You think we got 88 pages out of saying "Let's play now!"? Now let this thread die. -.-

What do you do on airplane trips?
I'm pretty sure you can't bring meat. I let my mom do the packing though, so I don't know. But you can always buy food in the terminal, I usually get something from BK before going on. I have no idea why I'm still afraid of flying even though I fly so much (Or at least I used to), and for so long. Guess it's because I think the more likely you fly, the higher chance of a crash or something. I feel so much better now... I can't read on cars, I get headaches. Don't know how you guys manage it...I also have a bit of trouble falling asleep on cars and airplanes, I must be really tired or else I'll just sit there with my eyes closed, waiting to sleep. And Tripsis, I once was on a plane that had two floors, but no bars or anything. A huge plane nonetheless. Eva Air is FTW by the way, much better than any of the American ones.

What do you do on airplane trips?
Well, I spent 18 hours on a plane a few days ago...What I did... -Read. I had a bit of Wizard's First Rule left, and I had Stone of Tears with me too. Both are extremely long books. -Eat. Don't know what airline you're taking, but on the Taipei -> SF plane, they gave us two meals and some instant noodles. And plenty of drinks. Of course, that meant I had to pee. -Listen to music. I have a MP3, but barely any songs. Still, on the plane, they have a radio, with like 20 stations. Not the typical stations you get on the ground, but some random ones. I listened to the New Age stuff, in hope they would play May it Be or whatever Enya sang for the Lord of the Rings. (Though they ended up repeating the same songs over and over) -I don't have a DS or PSP, but I saw quite a few people playing on them. Not just kids...I mean, it was a plane out of Taiwan. -Study math. I doubt you're going to do this. But I have a math test on August 28 (Prior to the start of the school year), and I really need to study. Why not pass some time, while preparing? Killed two birds with one shot. -Talk. If you're traveling alone, oh well. But I was with my sister and mom. Our conversations weren't too interesting (We do live together...), but passed a bit of time. -Watch the map thing on the TV. The movies they had either sucked or didn't interest me. Mainly both. But I'm fascinated by maps and math, so watching the map, as well as the statistics they put up, was somewhat fun. (Okay, not really) I think that was it. Not much to do. But for the record, I had my laptop with me, and a few hours of battery left on it. Sure, no internet, but I could've played some Civilization IV or Solitaire if I wanted to.

Yay Hong Kong! (My dad is Cantonese, suppose I kind of am too) Pwnage penguin is back online, by the way. My Dedede sucks now though, I think I do better with Ganondorf and Falco.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
I just had the most fun I've had so far. This all happened in the same game room, I stayed in there for like 3 hours. It was CTF in Snow Valley, my favorite. So like usual, I chose Team Bravo. Somehow, I think I was the best sniper on my team. However, Team Alpha had this guy who matched me perfectly. All the two of us did the whole time was kill each other. After a game or two, he switched to my team, along with another pretty good sniper. The three of us absolutely dominated, and we used the exact same sniping spot the entire time. And it was the first time I've really seen communication (Other than the occasional "OMG HACKER"), we would help each other ("Behind you!"), congratulate each other and just talk. Every game, we shut them out, 5-0. : I landed a few flag captures myself, but for the most part I stuck in one place sniping...Took out quite a few people trying to take our flag. My KD ratio should be much higher now...Hopefully. And at the end of it, I leveled up. \ (Got a few multi-kills too, I think)

Reccomend me an MMO
Is not a MMORPG. (And it sucks, to be honest) Yay for another MMORPG thread. Oh wait, it's old.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Wait, don't you get the "version checking", then the launcher opens? Then you press "Game Start", and Hackshield opens/scans/whatever, then the actual game starts...? Try opening it, then check in your task manager for anything related to Combat Arms. I'm assuming you already did that though, but just in case. Maybe it's just taking a while to load. Otherwise, it's probably some conflicting program...Try exiting all unnecessary stuff, maybe that's it. Or it could be a firewall/anti-virus.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Hm, it's feeding me errors now, when I try to log on. First time it's happened...Strange. I found out why I sometimes lag though, it's because when I press shift+ctrl (I think), Chinese typing turns on. And I guess that lags. Edit: It was some server error, I think. 42 page thread on the forums, everyone had it. Apparently it's fixed now.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Or they need to show the ping, so at least you know who's lagging. Other than the time I mentioned, I don't lag at all. Hackers are a bit rarer than in most games, I think, I've only seen a few. Oh, and a good tip: Never stand in front of a sniper. Nothing annoys me more than scoping, finally finding my target, only to have a teammate jump right in front of me and block the way with his big head. Then he (My teammate) starts randomly firing shots, and the sniper I'm aiming at shoots both of us in shot. (Which I did once, by the way \ ) Of course, if you're on the other team, feel free to jump in front of me. I don't mind. Just don't shoot.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
I'm pretty sure Lionheart_0's username is Arkheart. No _0. ;) And MSG is better than SR25, I didn't know that at first though. At least I only bought the SR25 for a day.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Now that I think about it, I think this is my first too. I played Gunz for a bit before, but that's third-person...Though I remember 3 years ago, at computer camp (Yes, I'm a geek), I played some shooter. Might have been a FPS. I have no idea what it was though... And I bought myself an advanced backpack, now I carry two sniper rifles and an AK-47. That should work better. And jjrox, are you sure you typed your username right? Doesn't seem to work for me.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Meh, maybe that's why I'm not doing so well. I'll buy an AK or something for a day and try that. Though as a sniper, I tend to stay a long distance away from my enemies, most of my deaths are from other snipers. A few times though, a guy got close to me...I pulled out my shotgun, and shot him point blank.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Urgh, every game, I either own or really suck. Like one time, I went 10-0, then the next game I went 3-14. The regular servers provide much tougher fights than the recruit one does, and I wasn't ready for that at all. :| I think I'm making a mistake by not carrying an AR, I have two SRs...It's kind of interesting though, I have to know what I'm up against. If I'm shooting a moving target, or know exactly where my target is, I'll use the L6AP or whatever. If I have no idea where I'm shooting, and am anticipating to counter-snipe, I use the semi-automatic. And I'm still good with grenades, 40% accuracy. Snow Valley and Two Towers are my favorite, probably. Snow Valley for CTF, Two Towers for Elimination. I never play One-Man Army (Snipers get destroyed), and I haven't bothered with the bomb one. I managed to convince one of my friends to play by the way, and he's usually really good at shooters. But our KD ratios aren't too far apart, I feel better now.

Smash Club.
I surrender, I ended up using Charizard for Boss Battles on Hard. It was too easy though. Still yet to beat it on Very Hard or Intense though. Some family friends came over, and I played Brawl with their son. And two level threes. I got owned. #-o

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
You mean the downloads? Download A is off the North American server, Download B is off the international server...I think. Basically, if you live in North America, use Download A. If you live in Oceania or South America, use Download B. I think. I'm now a Private. Yay. Sniping is really quite fun... And I played a bit of Soldier Front, it's nothing compared to Combat Arms. The maps are tiny, sniping is terrible, it's just less enjoyable. The only thing I don't like about Combat Arms is that you rent weapons (They're limited), but that means you have to keep playing. Oh well. Even more reason to play.

2012 Olympics Ceremony - let's not throw away over $300mil?
Ever heard of northern Africa? Areas in countries like Tunisia and Egypt aren't as luxurious as those in the USA and UK, but they're sufficient. If we're talking sub-Saharan Africa, then hm...Just wanted to make sure your impression of Africa wasn't way off. I'm sure if it was possible, and as easy as you make it sound, some country would've given Africans money already. I'm not entirely sure, but I think Japan (?) donated $1 billion (?) to some countries in Africa. (1 billion total, not to each country) I don't know what ended up happening with that, but it doesn't look like it solved much. The US could hand over a few billion if they wanted to, but it simply wouldn't work just like that. Unless humanity really has reached a new low. Doubt it though...

Um...Honda civic Toyota gundam kakatoma masato? (Yea, that made absolutely no sense at all) I realized I really am Burger King. You see, I like teh Lord of the Rings a lot. Lord is like King. And Burger King is the only fast food restaurant that makes good onion rings...Rings! Ahahah Lord of the Rings = Burger King. Yea, I'm about to go play Brawl for the first time in weeks. I think I'll try Boss Battles, maybe I'll beat it.

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Yea, my username (In the game) is LuinIthil. I don't really know how the friend thing works though, I should probably go find out. Speaking of friends, none of my friends play. I pity them. And I'm in a debate against one of them now, Combat Arms vs. Soldier Front/Gunz. I've played a fair share of Gunz (Not thousands of hours like he has, but whatever), and I never really liked it. But I instantly fell in love with Combat Arms...Never played Soldier Front though, it doesn't work well on my computer. Anyone have comparisons for the two? (CA and SF, in favor of CA of course)
-
Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Ah, I'm LuinIthil. Pretty terrible stats right now, but they're good compared to earlier today. (I'm averaging around a 1:1 KD ratio right now) But my longest kill streak...That was sweet. 10 straight kills. Took me a while though, I kept ducking behind something. Two Towers is probably my favorite map, Team Alpha. Snow Valley pits me against too many pro-snipers. I played a few Capture the Flag games there though, best fun I've had in a while. And run4runes, it might have just been something random going on with your computer. Last night, when I was playing, all of a sudden I started lagging. I checked, I'm pretty sure my computer was just doing some routine check-up or something. If it keeps happening, try the forums. (Nexon forums, silly, not TIF...) All the weapons (I think) are shown here, along with stats. They're not balanced as in they all have the same stats, but it's that none of them are overpowered. (Except of course, if you hand me a sniper rifle. Then I'll just destroy you) Warren, I'm running it off my laptop, with Vista. Works perfectly fine. If you want to uninstall it, just use the "Add or Remove Programs" thing...That should work. If not, just delete all the files. Actually though, just don't uninstall it. Because you'll like it. :P

Other MMORPG's like RuneScape?
...And even if he was willing to download something, he'd be hard-pressed to find something good for Macs. Well, at least I think so. I haven't really bothered to check, never really thought about it...

Nadril's MMORPG thread.
Someone else write something, it's kind of awkward having it being all Nadril except for some long thing by me. -.- I might try LotRO sometime, if you haven't realized I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings...So yeah. There are some other games I'd rather get first though. (Not MMORPGs...) For the record, right now is the first time in over two years I'm not playing a MMORPG. As in I'm not addicted. I'm playing Combat Arms, that's what. :P (My friend wants me to play Fiesta, he says he'll powerlevel me. Kind of ruins the point, but I might...)
-
Smash Club.
Yeah. Definitely. I've been playing it since I got home...Lawl... #-o Haven't touched my Wii yet, I should probably go play some Brawl now. Sniping is addicting though...

Combat Arms - 100% Free FPS - Review, Pictures & Videos
Ahem. ;) I just hope it's not separate. As in Americans can play against Europeans. I love how the weapon with which my hit accuracy is highest is a grenade. 13 kills with a knife, 5 were headshots...Not bad. :

Post Pictures of Your Desktop - August
Since August is so awesome, I'll post four. [hide=Do you remember the taste of strawberries?] Actually...I haven't had strawberries in a long time. :-k[/hide] [hide=So I can keep an eye on Mordor][/hide] [hide=Best. Scene. EVAR][/hide] [hide=Yay maps][/hide] And for kicks, here's a picture that my sister took in Taiwan that works really well as a background. [hide=Danshui][/hide] Pictures are a bit big, I used Tinypic this time, which I've never used before. Imageshack keeps dying on me.
