And in my opinion, you're starting to get ridiculous. You're just belittling everything about the game and the update. "They've added a bit of land"? But... but... they're adding an entire new continent. :wall: Along with two new races (Blood Elves for the Horde, and Draenei for Alliance), a new jewelcrafting skill, level cap raised to 70, socketed items, hundreds of new quests and items, flying mounts (which you will be able to control yourself) - and how do you think it would work if you could use the flying mounts everywhere? Not at all. It's like whining that members in RuneScape can't use their skills in a F2P world, except in WoW there won't be a special realm for those who have the expansion and for those who don't. So it's very logical. Having people fly around on mounts all over Azeroth would make the game very laggy, and travelling around would be way too easy. You could get to your desired location like... 50x faster, and it would completely take away the challenge of getting around, you know. There will also be new instances and new 20-40 man raids, and lots of other things. I simply cannot fathom how you can call that "the worst excuse for an expansion pack I've ever seen". Btw, you didn't answer my question earlier: have you ever actually played WoW? I mean, for more than a week.

I play the guitar. I've done it for a bit over a year now. I mainly play metal tunes, such as Iron Maiden, Pantera, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath etc. but also rock (Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin etc...) I love to come up with my own riffs/licks though. I practice around two hours a day if I can find the time. And do I wanna become a pro? Of course I do. But the chances are pretty slim.

Nadril, and I don't mean this in an unfriendly manner at all, but I see you bashing WoW every chance you get, but have you ever actually played WoW? I mean, for more than a few hours? I don't think anyone can actually - or rather, should not - comment on the game unless they've played it for at least a week or more. You need to see more than having nudged the "quest aspect" of the game for an hour... The less grinding thing, if we're speaking level-up wise... it is less grinding, but hey you know what, it's still an MMORPG, so if you want to advance in the game, you'll need to do a considerable amount of grinding - as you do in every MMORPG. The reason it requires less grinding to level up is because as soon as you spend time logged out, or in a city or at an inn, a certain percentage of your experience-bar turns blue, which means you're rested. The longer you're logged out/in the city/inn the more the rested-meter increases. And when you're rested, it means you will get 200% the experience points. And that really helps. But, correct me if I'm wrong, don't you play Everquest? If yes, the assumption that WoW requires a lot of grinding shouldn't bother you in the first place (see? I can also come and criticise a game from things I've heard from friends... and a teacher). As for the community... well, uh, I didn't know RuneScape had a "community" to begin with? And I played that game even during it's "glory days" and it never came across as a game... with a community. You usually just stand there under an oak tree and train by yourself all day. In WoW, whether you like it or not, you have to group with other people in order to obtain better items and advance levels. In instances/dungeons you usually are five people doing it together, and in order not to whipe, you need to communicate with the groupmembers and make up tactics. And in raids you are 20-40 people doing it together, and from what I've heard, if one member screws up, you will whipe. So a lot of communicating there as well, usually via Ventrilo or Teamspeak. And when you're not doing raids or instances, you're usually a group of people that quest together; you share the experience and loot. Fun times. ... And there are in-game events as well. I'm guessing you've talked with a lot of level 60s to come up with such a foolproof statement. It's just that those "raids" you speak about only spawn every third day, and the regular 5-man instances you can only do five times a day. As for the PvPing, I don't know anybody who does it just to keep their rank intact: they do it because they think it's fun. Which it also is. The PvPing in WoW beats any other PvP I've played... even Guild Wars', which is very PvP oriented. Christ, can't people come up with better arguments? I swear, this is used 99,9% of the times when people attempt to criticise MMO games. The guild I am in has around 150 members... and I think maybe five or ten of those are "13 year old kids", and I've been questing with a few of them. And believe it or not, I didn't pass out from hyperventilating. But most people in the guild are 16-20+. We even have a few who are over 30. So yeah. One thing I can agree with you though is that Blizzard are way too easy on you. I'm mainly talking about when you die, you only lose 10% of your durability and you have to run and obtain your body. Whoop-de-dideli-do. I mean, they could at least have made it so that you lose a certain percentage of your experience, or that you lose some gold. Anything. But they're too afraid people would get angry and quit playing I guess. Again, sorry if I was too blunt in my post, I didn't mean any offense. I just don't like it when people make bold statements about stuff they actually know nothing about, just because "my friend told me".

Very nice work, mate. If I ever get tired of my current wallpaper, I'll be sure to use this one. Absolutely brilliant.
-
He made it sound like it was once/twice a month. Oh well, 8 times a year is still pretty much.
-
You should know, you live there!... Anyway my sister's boyfriend lives in London, so that's whom I heard it from. Maybe not all of UK has it as often as once a month? :-k
-
My current one? Read my post one more time.

Don't people in the UK have bank holidays like once every month? That's what I heard anyway. Sounds like you had a good time though.

Got an Creative Zen Micro, 5gb. Great Mp3-player. But it's way too small for me now (storage space-wise). Looking into getting an 20gb at least, but the Creative ones with that storage space look absolutely atrocious. I can't find the Zen-20gb one anywhere. And I don't want an iPod, but they're about the only ones you see in the stores... :?

Sweden. It's a part of the social studies (in lack of better words) "kit" my school has. And it isn't there to cram a bunch of religious propaganda down our throats. Just teaches us what kind of religions there are, and how they all work/their teachings. It's all done in a very un-biased manner -- as it should be.

I started on the 21st. My 3rd and last year of the gymnasium. I love being back with my friends, but it's a shame my class will not have any classes together this year, since this year, we will basically only have classes we chose ourselves. I'll have classes with some from my class, but not all of them. Now we're divided into new classes, depending which line of study we chose. That kinda sucks because I really liked my old class. But I still have classes with some of my closest friends, so it's not that big of a deal. Plus, I quite like my schedule. My schedule: LAN B = the second course in the LAN class. RE: Religion. DAKOM (Datorkommunikation) = data/computer-communication, I guess. MA C (Matematik C) = the third course in Mathematics. EN C (English C) = third course in English.

I'd call my neighbours pretty bad. At least my parents would. We live in a terrace house (?) so almost all houses are connected. This one time they randomly began jack-hammering their little asphalted "slope" that leads to their front door at 8 am in the morning on a Saturday, because they wanted to build a stair up to it instead... They have two kids, and they're probably two of the most obnoxious kids I've met (and I've worked at a kindergarden). Whenever they run down the stairs, you hear it (the wall actually vibrate a lot of times), and they don't close their front door, they slam it shut as hard as they can. And they can never talk like a normal human being would, they have to scream. They have two dogs, and they randomly crap wherever they want (including peoples' house lots). And whenever the wife is out of town with the kids, the husband invites a bunch of friends over and constantly drink the days the wife and kids are gone. This man is over 40 years old. This one time when the wife and kids were away, he got home at 3 am in a taxi, obviously very hammered, and he didn't have any money on him. So he had a very lively conversation with the cabdriver for around 15 minutes, whereafter he ran inside his house to find money. He didn't find any. So he attempted to pay him with gold-necklaces and stuff. Whatever he could find. And when that didn't work he came to our house and rang our door bell. We didn't open though. We've no idea how he solved it, but the cabdriver drove away after another 30 mins or so. There are a bunch of other scenarios as well... like the wife having a "conversation" with her man after suspecting/finding out he was cheating on her etc. etc.

Try Hibria, Tarantula, Killer, Persuader, Cans (Joacim Cans' (Hammerfall) solo project). I guess you've heard Stratovarius' stuff but I'll mention them as well.

I used to listen to Aria not long ago, which is russian heavy metal (sounds like a mixture of Iron Maiden and Scorpions). ... I'm also a fan of The Mars Volta.
-
My hair was long a week ago. But then I cut it. Now it's long-ish.
-
Rush - Leave That Thing Alone. Groovy as hell. Geddy Lee is an amazing bassist.
-
Judas Priest also made a pretty good cover of Berry's "Johnny B. Goode".
-
Iron Maiden - The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg.
-
Zakk Wylde's cover of Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven" is - I daresay - better than the original.
-
Ted Nugent - Crave. I almost always have a song stuck in my head the second I wake up every morning, and it stays there for a few hours. And for some reason, 70% of the cases, it's this song -- and I can't remember the last time I actually listened to it.

I wanna see this movie. Seen some clips from it and it seems hilarious. The character Will Farrell plays named his two kids in the movie Walker and Texas Ranger, right? Brilliant.

I just ordered: and and and

Good job on the list - but please leave The Mars Volta out of the "punk rock" genre. They're anything but.

I shall squeel the paint off my walls. 8-) ... At least I'll have that possibility.
-
Rush - Virtuality.
