  1. A lot of people seem to use "lol" as a form of "ok".
  2. Jeff Buckley's cover of "Hallelujah" is great indeed. I also think Zakk Wylde's cover of "Stairway to Heaven" is good, as well as Judas Priest's "Johnny B. Goode"... and... those are the only ones I can think of atm. Some thoroughly bad ones I can think of right now would be Scissor Sister's "Comfortably Numb" cover and Cradle Of Filth's "Fear Of The Dark". God they suck.
  3. A USA Dime ML Redwood or a 30th Anniversary USA ML &V guitar. Man, those headstocks... Shame there appears to be no Dean dealers in Sweden. :uhh:
  4. Black Label Society - World Of Trouble. Billy Idol - White Wedding. Megadeth - Holy Wars... The Punishment Due. Megadeth - Trust. Pantera - I'm Broken. Thin Lizzy - Johnny. Thin Lizzy - Still In Love With You. Thin Lizzy - The Holy War. The Black Mages - The Skies Above. Ozzy Osbourne - Suicide Solution. Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever. That's all I can be bothered typing.
  5. Patric: noble. Already knew that. Although mine's with a K.
  6. I'd consider rolling a night elf only for that. But as it stands, male night elves are the ugliest characters in the game. So I couldn't stand playing one.
  7. Shattered Hand (PvP): 60 human rogue (Azvareth), and a level 18 dwarf priest (Klausdorf). I no longer play on this server though. Shattered Halls (PvP) - which is the server I currently am playing on: a 41+ blood elf rogue (Delirium) and a level 1 troll hunter (Eastwood). I will boost the hunter once the rogue reaches 60-70 (which he will be in about 1-2 weeks). Gotta love being a hunter in battlegrounds.
  8. Me and a bunch of friends decided to roll on one of the new servers that launched 2 hours prior to the BC launch (to make a school/friends guild), and after roughly two weeks the server had its first level 70. Pretty insane. We even have a few level 60+ in our guild (65 I believe is the highest).
  9. Name - Patrik. Age - 18. Country - Sweden. City/Town - Stockholm. Sports played/followed - I don't do any right now, but a few that I have done are fotball, bandy, rifle shooting. Music Taste - Metal, rock, blues. Some favourite bands - Thin Lizzy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Dire Straits, Ozzy Osbourne etc. Instruments played - Electric guitar. Belief Inclination - Atheist. Hobbies/Other Interests - Music, the internets, going out, friends. Ideal Travel Location - Italy. Future Aspirations/Career Aspirations - Right now, something along the lines of sound engineer/technician. But it will probably end up being something computer-related.
  10. 140/200 on rick's quiz. The ones I had wrong was: 7, 12, 14, 16, 17 (as mentioned by others the pic wouldn't show), 20. As for... dabliu tee eff? :P
  11. Yep, they're coming to Sweden Rock Festival this year. Unless it collides with our graduation, me and some friends plan to go.

    Opeth

    I'll check them out. Thanks.
  13. How someone can compare Queen with Pink is beyond me. Unless you mean Pink Floyd, in which case you should have made that clear in the OP.

    Opeth

I've been meaning to get into them. What albums would you recommend?
  15. How is that pronounced? I didn't even realize Swedish had a 'w' in it's alphabet. Same as Siv (Sih-V). I'm Patrik.
  16. I just ordered: Deep Purple - In Rock - 25th Anniversary Edition Deep Purple - Machine Head - 25th Anniversary Tool - Lateralus Osbourne Ozzy - Blizzard Of Ozz (expanded)
  17. Why do I feel like I am back at elementary school again?... Anyway, I look at the author first, as I tend to give topic's whose author is either someone I know and/or someone whom I find interesting priority. Usually regardless of the title, since they usually have something interesting to say. I then read the topics that catch my attention. As for the grammar and spelling bit. Grammar, I don't mind so much... since I know my own can be very bad at times. Spelling however, and especially punctuation, is something I'm a bit of a "nazi" about. English isn't my native language, so I find sentences that are spelled very poorly, or without proper punctuation very hard to understand sometimes. Consequently, I tend to just skim through them, or simply skip those posts.
  18. We had a bit of snow for a few days in November. That's it. I couldn't be happier.
  19. - I bite my lip. - When I'm on my laptop, in the bottom menu, my windows have to be in this order: Winamp, IRC, Firefox/MSN... after that, it can be random. But those three have to be in said order, or else I must exit those applications and start over again. - For some reason, I strongly dislike the number three. It was quite insane a few years ago, but I've been able to decrease it a bit the past two years. However, I still can't, for example, put down a book knowing the last page I read had the number three in it. - I have a thing about memorizing the number plates on cars. When I was around 6-7 my friend introduced me to this game, where you looked at a car's number plate, and then tried to form a word from the letters. I think that kind of stuck with me, because I know/can recognise most of the car's in my area, should I see them at the mall or in the city somewhere. - I also drum a lot. Be it with my feet, hands, fingers or random objects (i.e pencils and computer mice), I'm usually drumming something (especially in school, and especially if I have a song in my head.) Also a bunch of other things I can't remember right now, and probably even more things I do sub-consciously without thinking about it.
  20. Shattered Hand - PvP. Bad server. Don't migrate. Looking forward to TBC where I will start fresh on one of the new PvP servers (schoolguild ftw).
  21. Thin Lizzy - Rosalie. Such a funky riff.
  22. We have this soda here in Sweden called Julmust (would translate into "Christmas soft drink"apparently...), and that would probably have to be my favourite. However, the remaining 10 months that the soda isn't sold here (never mind the one that is sold during easter, on which only the label is different :P), it would definitely be Dr. Pepper. But as that isn't sold everywhere, a regular Coke works 99.9% of the times.
  23. - A new beast of a computer (although it was an early present, as I got it a few weeks before.) :P - Two t-shirts. - Sweater. - Underwear 2x. Bj̮̦̉̉rn Borg ftw. - Few packs of guitar strings. - AC Adapter (since pedals consume regular batteries like we do air.) - A cool table lamp in metal. - Money. - Extremely comfy bedclothes. I think that was it. I still haven't received my other sister's present(s), as she is in Prague atm.
