  1. Have you tried the norton removal tool? If not download it from Here The first thing I did when I bought a new laptop was uninstall norton, horrible program in my opinion. oober
  2. This tickled me
  3. I am 31 and have only realised what I wanted to do in the last two years. As others have said, don't worry that you should already know what you want to do, oneday you will realise what you want to do with your life. Good luck and take care of yourself. oober
  4. For anyone who likes the foo fighters, they are live on radio 1 as I write this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/ Heres the link to the website oober
  5. He might enjoy playing wow more than runescape, so for him the better game is wow. You really shouldn't rely on a computer game to have a good friendship. Go speak to your friend and do, um, friend things. Don't even bother trying to convince him. oober
  6. To be fair, if someone asked me to lower my health, then bring an item to a particular place, I'd be pretty suspicious and wouldn't do it. They may as well have scammer/lurer in their username. oober
  7. I always use the ogre enclave, I get through them pretty quick with 89 range. oober
  8. You could try greater demons in the ogre enclave. I can kill between 180-200 per bow at 89 range. They also drop clue scrolls, so if you get bored you can do a clue to break it up a bit. oober
  9. Go see Nulodion at the top of the dwarven mine, he will replace it free of charge. If you don't pick it up before you log out it will not go into your invetory. oober
  10. That is exactly what happens to me. Out of curiosity I browsed the forums for a while on a new laptop and the same happend within about half an hour. Now this either means there is malware within the site (not sure exactly how that works) or it is the security setup I am using which happens to be the same on both computers. oober
  11. That was the case a while ago, but they have changed it now. oober
  12. Thanks for the replies, I know how to remove it, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced it while browsing these forums. oober
  13. I find 26 the best
  14. Just recently I have been getting pop-ups for winantivirus pro, these only seem to happen when Im browsing tip.it forums. Im just wondering if anyone has experienced this also or is it just a coincidence. oober
  15. I had a couple in my early days of runescape, in one of them I found a mithril longsword outside my house and thought all my worldly problems had disappeared. hehe, gotta laugh at these things. :D oober
  16. I've lost a cannon to someone I know/knew in real life. We met in college where about 10 of us discovered runescape at the same time, you can imagine the topic of conversation at lunch times. Anyway this new guy starts college and hes a bit quiet, and it turns out he has a runescape account about the same level as the rest of us. For a few months we all chatted online and in college, helped each other out when we could. When I started doing barrows I got a few items and he asked me if I could keep them for him until he can afford it, I'll do no such thing I said and gave him the items and said pay me when you got it. I did this quite a few times and I always had the money back. Well I did the same with a cannon which I bought another after thinking I lost mine but it had only degraded, so I say to pay me when he can and that night he logs never to be seen again. Until I see him sitting outside the supermarket with his mother, I know his mother so I say hi and I look at him and say hi and he can't even look at me, I found this very amusing seeing him squirm in his seat, I just laughed and walked away, much more rewarding than getting my cannon back. He may even be a member on these forums  oober
  17. This might help clicky And this site looks ok too clicky oober
  18. requirements are 10 defence and 20 strength, it raises your attack and strength 15% during a slayer assignment. oober
  19. I dislike a lot of things microsoft, but to be fair, when I've had to call their activation help lines, they have been very good and also don't try to keep you on the phone for too long like other support lines. oober
  20. I didn't realise you could access the system volume information folder from the recovery console. I thought you had to boot into windows once youd copied the registry files that were created on initial installation. oober
  21. ok. If the recovery console is already installed on your computer, you will see the option to boot into it on startup. If not, you will have to put your windows disk into your cd/dvd drive and boot from that. If it's not set to boot from cd/dvd you will have to go into the bios and change the boot priority to boot from cd/dvd first. So after you have booted from your windows disk, it will load the startup files and leave you at a screen asking you if you want to install windows or repair windows using the recovery console. Choose the recovery console option. You will be asked what windows installation you want to log onto, there will probably only be one there, choose that, then you will be asked to enter the administartors password, unless you have set one, leave it blank. You will be left at a command prompt, at the prompt, type "chkdsk /p" without the quotes. After it finishes, at the command prompt type "exit" and see if windows starts up. If it doesn't start up, get back into the recovery console and at the c prompt type "chkdsk /r" then try to boot into windows again. Let us know if you are unclear on anything. Good luck oober
  22. Stuck in a boot loop then. The next thing you should do is start up the recovery console and run a check disk, first to try is "chkdsk /p", if that doesn't work do a "chkdsk /r" Let us know if you need help getting into the recovery console. oober
  23. Can you estimate how long it would take to do 85-90 Slayer? Depends how long you play each day. On a good day playing about 6 hours I can get about 60-80k. This can vary a lot though if I have to burthorpe a lot of tasks. So its just under 2.1 mil exp between 85 and 90, about 70k a day, thats about 30 days. oober
  24. oops, should have read more carefully. I thought he meant he couldn't access the account with administrative rights. I was assuming it was like most pc's I deal with, the administrator account only becomes available when booting into safe mode and therefore are very rarely password protected. oober
  25. If you can post your product line and number eg. dimension 4600, well be able to post the link to the driver page. oober
