When I was little, I watched Belphegor, a France 2 anime, about a mysterious man stealing things in the Louvres museum. I always fantasized about how Belphegor and the cop woman looking to catch him were going to get together at some point, and surely they did, but I never got to see the end as they stopped airing it on the channel on which I watched it. Maybe the episodes are lost somewhere on internet... Then I watched Sakura the card captor, introducing me to the world of japanese anime. Nice show, I really loved it. Fav char yue xD I found it sad how quickly the story all ended, sad it was all over. Then, I think I started watching DBZ, I loved it. I always loved Vegeta, weaker than Goku, yet he tried to so hard to be the best, and he had a bigger dark side, I love those o.o After that, there was a long time in which I didn't watch anime. I can't recollect what anime I watched during that time, if any. After that, I recall watching some animes, but I don't remember which. Anyway, this lead me to watch .hack//sign, which aired just after the anime I watched. It was a weird story, and they never aired the end, but I can easily guess it. Favorite character was sora, that wicked guy everyone was pissed off about. Then there was gundam seed, I loved how the characters and their relationships were so deepened, when compared to other animes who don't take the time to really describe their characters. Fav character was Rau le Creuset, I always fall for the devious intelligent ones, you normal people can't understand >:3 Then there was Witch Hunter Robin. It was odd, in a fun kind of way. Again, I was awaiting Robin and Amon to finally get together, and it never really explicitely happened, no big french kiss, no fluffy "I loved you all those years!", nope nothing, which was a bummer. I never saw the end, since they stopped airing it before that, dont they love doing that? Maybe R and A kissed on the episodes I couldn't see? >.< After that came the time of Inuyasha. I found it entertaining, but too childish. A few elements were very imaginative and interesting though. Favorite character was sesshomaru, he seems to have some sort of hidden empathy for that girl, and the servant that tag along with him everywhere, still to see much unfold about that... Full metal alchemist, the storyline is just amazing, all the elements fit together. However, I didn't find any character I connect with.. Gundam Seed destiny. Good, but I wasn't as wowed as with the original gundam seed. Naruto. Its addictive, like DBZ. Too childish at times. And others, not really worth mentioning.

Not my style. I used to listen to it when I was younger, a quick phase. There is parts in their songs that are catchy and fun, like once or twice per song, but the rest of the song is screams, and noise, that's why I dont like it.

I never have any expectations, or study too hard, or think about it before a test, I just take it relax, and I get better scores that the insecure people who come at the test completely stressed out and their nose still in their study book.

Do you people really fantasize about your fathers/mothers? [cabbage] as far I'm concerned. And this whole thing is, weird stuff, I wonder what lead to this.

Tons of irl money, or tons of pixel money in a crappy game? Oh my, the choice is SO difficult. And god, stop taking yourself so seriously with your "integrity" talk, this is a GAME. Are you sure you don't have an obssessive-compulsive personality disorder? Or, you probably have some issues with Cognitive distortion, probably no 8. In all cases qeltar, you most likely got some sort of problem going on, try to see a therapist. And I'm saying that honestly, not just to piss you off or something like that -.-

How to own the rarest item in the game :)
highlanders replied to FooK-A-Ji's topic in Questionnaires
*Sigh* This stupidity proves one thing: The more you control, or have monopoly of a ressource, the more you control the price. Diamond sellers worldwide are doing this right now, they stock up all diamonds in undergroud vaults, and sell those diamonds, drop by drop, thus reducing the supply with the same demand, and creating rarity, and pumping the prices, and make more profit. Diamonds are actually a lot less rare we think they are. -
Guy: Hey Guy2: Hey, what's up? Guy: Chinchompas have raised in price of 100gp ea! And I just sold 30 00 chinchompas too! Guy2: Sucks Guy: What do you think is the cause of this dramatic change? Guy2: Idk, lol Guy: I think this might be due to GWD Guy2: ... Guy: Which caused an input a money into certain players Guy2: ... (this guys a nerd) Guy: And those players now want to gain 99 ranged Guy2: ... (wtf is he talking about?) Guy: Thus producing this raise of 100gp each chinchompa Guy2: ... (*Stopped listening, doing other stuff*) Guy: What do you think? Guy2: (*Not talking to guy1 for several weeks*)

Is Jagex Towers really profit driven?

Oh yeah, who cares about honouring their advertisers? Who cares if they signed an agreement and part of that agreement ensured that the ads would be viewable? Who cares if it's just a rule? Who cares if their advertising gets pulled because of it? f2p has adverts? i think i accidently blocked adds coz i never see them on my f2p pure =X :uhh: You should probably stop blocking them. Nope, he should stop saying he is blocking them, lol. "Look jegax, i am blockin ur adds hahaha, heres meh rs username, im breaking the rules, bannn mmeeeeee hahahahahahah!" -

Over best gameplay? Oh dear, if there is a game with bad gameplay it's Runescape. Not smooth, absolutely no keyboard hotkeys or ANYTHING else than the mouse. When you run, you often run the other way for a few seconds because of server lagg, I mean, the gameplay is SO bottom pit. Where the hell have you came from, tetris? And you are satisfied with that? Personally, I want more than just people who are more mature than a broom.

[MISSION COMPLETE]$5.00 USD?Jagex is screwing the Canadians!

You do realise outside of the Rs community, "ftw" actually has the meaning of "ftl". Example: You are full of win (Omg you loser) Example2: ftw! You have to remember ftw was orignally sarcastic, thus the meaning of "ftl". Lol people forgot it's supposed to be sarcastic -.- Good thing were not outside of the rs community then. I dont even understand what you said lol. Ftw is supposed to be sarcastic you dum dum xD -
Lol.. Conclusion, 123yourgone likes Runescape? That proves what exactly? It's so irrelevant, it's all subjective, he didn't even try to be objective. And it's funny he mentions grinding and repetitiveness as a problem, ALL mmorpgs are grinding, simply in Runescape you have more than one thing to grind on, and those skills are ALL of them, repetitive aswell. Runescape is very varied, lots of things to do, that is Runescape's strength. Also some haft-decent storylines, but Jagex could have done something much better, complex and interesting. Now apart from that, horrible graphics, horrible community, inferior combat system.
-
Because you were being all serious and boring about something that is supposed to be funny, spoil fun xD And whoever attacked you is stupid, being nerdy and "smart" doesn't belong in dumb threads, lol. "Oooh, number 0 slash debate, let's be serious and boring!"

Is Jagex Towers really profit driven?
highlanders replied to The_Bacon_Man's topic in General Discussion
The large majority of companies would be ready to do any abomination, corruption or deceit to gain money. And now we are just at the point of wondering is Jagex "cares" about us. Of course they don't, but they sure love our money, and love to make us believe they "care", they sell more if they say that. -
A friend xD

Lol, personal attacks, desperate much? I don't play Runescape since a very long time. I have 2k+ posts on a lot of forums, I couldn't care less, my 2k posts show that I was here for a long time, when I used to like Rs, lol. I don't see how 2k posts show anything, it's very easy to get, many people would agree >:3 I had a VERY crappy computer before, Runescape was the only game my computer could handle.

Should Runescape go back to being 13 and up?
highlanders replied to foodmanfood1's topic in General Discussion
A lot of games are 13+ and do a good job at keeping it that way, without any particular care. The things we must tackle is, what makes all the kiddies go to Rs? Browser-based, the kiddies dont even need to be intelligent enough to install a program. Furthermore, a lot of kids play Runescape at school because it is browser based, and come to play Runescape at home aswell, because their schoolmates play it aswell. Mini-clip, Jagex backstabbed us. My dumb 6 yrs old cousin plays miniclip games since he was 4-5. The graphics somewhat attract children. Crude, realist graphics, would make kids less likely to play Runescape in my opinion. Easy signing up, too easy. Now, the kiddies don't even need to be intelligent enough to create an email address, or go through an email activation, they don't even need to input a specific birthdate. A lot of games ask you for your birthdate when creating a new character on an account, to be sure it's your real birthdate, since you wouldn't remember the bogus one you input in the account signup. That can turn a lot of idiots down. Also, a lot of signups ask for real name, occupation, verification codes, etc, those things can confuse the little kids and prevent them to register. Rs registration used to require all those things, they changed it after rs2. New dumb ads. Yay cartoon characters -.- The website is very easy to navigate, which means more idiots are more likely to find how to register. A lot of games have the "register" or "sign up" bottom rather small, somewhere near the logging screen. It requires some sort of intelligence to find it, and understand that the words "sign up" or "register" mean to create an account. On the rs website, the "create an account" button is clear, and huge, and add that to the simplicity of the signing up. Playing the game is easy. No technical problem like in programs that require downloading. I can count countless technical problems I've had when downloading games, but I've solved them all, but some 11 yrs old wouldn't be able to do that. Some kids would probably have no idea how to download a client, patch the game, create a character, and so on. Runescape requires no brains to play. A lot of games have a ton of classes to play, a ton of classes' builds. You gotta put a lot of thought into your character build, or you screw up. In rs you put everything into strength and you are safe, woohoo? Skills are a little more complicated, and most of those idiots don't raise them much. That's all I can think of right now. Rs being filled with young people is a combinason of many unfortunate factors, and jagex making the situation worse by simplifing everything to maximise income.
