Which rule? It's jagex error, or by purpose, in all cases, as long as they let it that way, it's completely legit.

macro, argue about it or outsmart them
highlanders replied to xxdarrenxx's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Lol, weird. Like some random person copying what politicians say at tv. Zero tolerance, rawr! And tangibely, your suggestion is...? 5 hours of woodcutting, then a cooldown of 5 hours? That's just ridiculous, wanna know why? The game cannot know if you are "hardcore" cutting. The game knows your getting exp in wc, but it has no idea when your 5 hours start or stop. All the game knows is that you get wc exp at a given moment, when does the clock start, when does it stop, what happens if you get exp in another skill, what happens if you cut just one tree and go walk around, the clock still counting? The game doesn't calculate, or detect the "time" factor. It's just logistically so absurd and impossible to calculate in so many ways, just think at it, if you can't grasp that, then just get out of here. If you think you can propose a way to make it work, sure do it, it'll be easy to demolish. You proposed a flawed solution for one skill, woodcutting, what about the other forms of autoing? ..... Then you propose we ban all players looking suspicious. Right, "who" will do that? Who can judge that accurately? Not normal players obviously, not player mods, only jagex. I doubt jagex wants to pay employees to just go and randomly ban autoers. That's tackling the consequence instead of tackling the cause, and it's just money down the drain for jagex. And unfairly banned people will just "send a letter" and jagex will read those letters and unban them? Lol, god, that would never work, because jagex frigging doesn't read nor believe anything send to them. And autoers do know how to send letters, because they're more clever than you, or any normal player, or their rs gold farming boss is. You just come here and slap that zero tolerance line that you picked up somewhere randomly, and then what? Then nothing. Come back in a few weeks, make a new topic, with some good research, a tangible and well-explained plan, some new brain cells and something so amazing that it will make both jagex, and all tip.it players love your magical idea more than the billion other better ideas than yours that were proposed before. Now just go away, and if you're not some lazy all-talk guy, then go research and come back later, oky? Good, now swoosh. -
Membership Benefits. They did alot more than you think.

Eh, it is only looks. I think it is a little hyped up. My main reason for becoming P2P was because it implied a much nicer community. One look at the forums destroyed that implication. Lol? That was my point exactly. Like video game trailers, they always make it look way better than it actually is. But a 11 yrs old doesn't know that. :P -

If I was a lil 11yrs old f2p, I'd become p2p instantly. Of course, I'd need to ask mommy  -
Sounds a little like godwars, but with different rewards. I like it though, new items always welcome.

I like it.

Fusion Skill (a.k.a. Polymorphism)

Very original, why not. -
Money? [!] $__$ *drools* <- Jagex

Maybe a mini-game that gives mining exp, or a secondary method to get exp in mining. I think firemaking needs an update badly, a lot more badly than mining, it has one use, the pyre logs, and that's it. Building a fire is just not useful, with banks already very close to ranges and perm. fires.

What religion you practice, or what core beliefs you have, ultimately doesn't matter. It's all about attitude. Of what I've seen, athiests and christians often have the same kind of bad attitude, they're no better than eachother in my book.

What did YOU Achieve This summer? (Hot Topic FTW!)
highlanders replied to Leik's topic in Questionnaires
In rs? Absolutely nothing. That's an achievement all by itself, I didn't play rs hehe :P :P -
I know someone who made 120m+ in a month by cosmic rc in lost city. He used super energy pots, I don't know how long he was logged in eveyday. That was back when pure/normal ess didn't exist (ess was cheap) and cosmics were 300gp ea back then. In all cases, imo, any intelligent rcing is some time well spent. But who has the patience? I know I don't.

The new armours are quite revealing :-w  Thighs, belly, chest.. :o

I find the armadyl helm ugly, but it looked already like that on the knowledge base inv. picture. However, the legs and top are probably very good looking, if they look like the pictures in the kb.

Do you think the RS economy will suffer?
highlanders replied to viral_wulf's topic in General Discussion
then you know nothing I probably know nothing about the economics of this kiddie game, it just doesn't count in my life. And I said I thought it was messed up because of the inflation, and raw ressources lower priced than they should because of the autoers. I never said it was "crashed", messed up can have many different meanings, you picked the wrong one. I know a little about irl economics, but I just don't see how something like a recession, or a depression could happen in a Runescape context. How would that happen? It seems impossible. I played this game, on and off, for around 5 yrs, I saw particular items crash, but never a whole economy crash. I played a little of some other games aswell, there was price drops on particular items too, but never I saw a whole economy crash either. All those people moaning about the economy going to crash are just annoying, the odds of that happening are so little it's ridiculous. -

hmm, so we need a team to kill the bosses, but what about the bodyguards? Is it possible to solo them? I've never dk, or kq, when a team attacks a boss, who gets the drop? We also need an assigned world for the dungeon, would greatly help with finding teamates.

I was speechless when I read the news. It's exciting, yet again, I bet the odds of getting any good item are pretty bad. T___T

i think the economy is already messed up -
Jagex just enjoys adding in the game nearly impossible items to get, that take hours and hours and hours of your life to get, or a lot of rs money. They started this tendency with skill capes, which was an excellent move, not as difficult as the things that were to follow. Then there was 3rd age items, that according to what I read have a 1 out of 10 000 chances of getting in a clue, impossible much? After that, the dragonfire shield, yours today for 25m, or a month of your life. Then the dark bow, who turned out to be affordable, but could have been a disaster with that 90 slayer req to get the drop. Following that, was the d full helm, who is nearly impossible to get, unless you have a lot of money to waste. And today, or tomorrow, there will be an update maybe introducing a godsword, that is going to be nearly impossible to get aswell. Can you see where jagex is going? They don't want us to get our hands on the new items they create, they want us to waste all our 5$s running after those items in a desperate attempt to maybe get them.

Yes, why not, but that would make melee training even easier than it is. Everyone is going to be 126?

It's a company, money? :-s I think they focus on making attractive updates. A little like in publicities, they give their product a nice image, and package, but inside, it's not that great. But people still fall for it.

Kiddie stuff. Soon there will be little merit stars for the good students.

I previously checked out of curiosity, and 4 dollars/m is the highest price. Often, smaller sweatshops who can't afford much publicty have lower prices, lowest I've seen was 3.3 dollars/m. Only around 1500 dollars for that party hat, if you do intelligent rs gold shopping. However, we have to make a distinction, that is the price when you buy the gold. If you were to sell some rs gold on a website, they only offer around 30-40% of the price they sell it for. So if by example, on a website they sell 10m for 37.80 dollars. If you want to sell 10m to them however, they will offer you between 11.34 and 15.12, not very good at all. That party hat's buying price would be 1920, but you would only get around 576 to 768 if you were to sell it, not much. It's a little like when you buy something common like a chair, the re-selling price is a lot lower, it immediately loses it's value when you buy it. Much like when you buy rs gold. That's why buying off gold farming websites is not a good idea. "Professionals" use black market forums to sell and buy Rs gold, at stable, reasonable prices. I don't encourage you to do it, just explaining how buying rs gold off those websites is a stupid idea.

1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it? No. 2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it? No. 3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it? I'd take it, but give him my entire bank to make him feel less sorry. 4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff? Not everything, probably only the most expensive item. Seems easy so far, this is where it starts to get a bit harder. 5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat? Well, yes, and I wouldn't feel bad, if I don't someone else will, and the person knew the risks when going into the wildy. 6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)? No. Poor thing. And Finally, the big one that expect the vary the most 7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back. AND how valuable would it have to be for you to keep it? It would have to be 30m+ for me to keep it.
