  1. Just remember the concept that holds so true.... Only noobs call other players noobs. ;)
  2. Whats the simplest item you've tried to attain that frustrated you the most? Currently, I'm trying to get full white mystic for my quest to fill my house wardrobes. Pretty easy, eh? Mystic white gloves. Arghhh! No one sells them. I spent an hour spamming W2. I offered to overpay out of desperation. None of my friends have any. I can't find any on forums. Forum posts are ignored. I have resorted to camping at rock slugs! People walk in, stop, look at the 124 killing rock slugs and say "?". My quest for simple white mystic gloves is killing me! Argggh!
  3. Wow looks wild. And I have to go to work for a 10 hour shift now. lol Hopefully someone will do a guide. Ohhhh, looks like Archive of Wisdom needs a new guide.
  4. Essence or runes? So 1500 essense would get you 3000 runes. Or are you saying 1500 runes at double production?
  5. Yeah, but you've also had 4 in one day, too, I'll bet. You have to take into account some other factors that are big boosters. Clue Scrolls Rune chains Not to mention the huge amount of air runes and herbs you get. But, if you can make 700k per hour, as noted above, with 91 RC, thats hard to beat. Oh well, I'm probably in the minority. I love clue scrolls. I love whip drops. I love rune drops. I hate rcing. I'm probably biased, but I tried to think past that. I still think with clue scroll rewards and whip drops, you'd do better with abbies. :-k How much can you make an hour with 91 RC? 300k? 700k? And also, are you patient enough to work through a dry spell when they happen at abbies? If you are more comfortable wiith steady returns, then RC will be better. If you are a patient person and can withstand a long run without a whip drop, you'd enjoy abbies more. And also, you have to take into the fact that you're not there yet. Getting to 85 slayer won't be very profitable. Getting to 91 RC will make you a fortune on the way. :-k
  6. I disagree. I believe Abby Demons are going to be more profitable. But, I might have the wrong numbers here. Someone said you can make 300k an hour with 91 RC. An Abby whip is 1.9 mil. So, if you get a whip every 6 hours of training, you'll out earn the RC. There is some luck involved, but over the long run, but I'm thinking you're gonna average much better than a whip every 6 hours of demon killing. :-k I've never camped out at demons for 6 hours straight, though. Maybe some hardcore slayers could confirm this. But for one thing, RC is guaranteed money. You might never get a whip. And then again, you might walk in and get 2 in the first five minutes. Its happened to me. But I don't think I've ever gone more than 5 supersets (its how I measure time. lol) without a whip drop. But in the long run, its my opinion that you'll make more from whips then you will from RCing.
  7. Hehe. What a cool idea. Players get online to a MMORP to play a board game. Runescape rocks.
  8. Lol. Hes such a funster. Slayers Of Dangerous Beasts.
  9. Its a clan.. er, self-proclaimed-anti-clan, aka "group" of RS players that get together to fight the bosses of RS. There is an organized website where they go on "trips" to the various big baddies of runescape. Good group of folks there.
  10. I spend it on really hard to level skills. Herblore, runecrafting, etc. But if I am trying hard to level a skill, I'll pop it on that one. I never get genies, anyway. The dam chicken is haunting me.
  11. You're famous too, in case I missed your modesty. Hehe.
  12. The first one that comes to mind is taking a group of 20 newbies to the Dag Kings on a recent "Dag King for Noobs" event. There was a lurer that followed us down there, and I ended up having to deal with all three kings at once by myself as the noobs gathered huddled in the corner, with me trying to protect them from death. Not alone did the lurer create havoc, but the newbs also were making mistakes, so I pretty much lived in the middle of all three kings for a good 30 minutes. Never had more adrenalin rushing from RS in my career. The next one would be my first Dragon Chain drop from KQ. And I think the chain drop that I got on another drop when it was the first trip down was also a rush. The happiest anti-pker event happened when I was running to do a clue nekkid with nothing but a dragon dagger. Someone in Ahrims attacked me, splashed, and I killed him with 4 dragon dagger specials. Nekkid with no food. Ha! Serves him right. Those are the things that came to mind. Trojann was with me on all three, but the last one was told to him by PM. :)
  13. Yes, you are. Yes, you are. Yes you are. Post-count-and-mod-status-denies-claim ftw. You are famous for the ultimate flaming smiley of --- Yes you are. My opinion is just my opinion, but I consider these modest folks famous. :) Modesty on such a thread should be noted honorably, then corrected with a third party denial. Harumph. \
  14. Yes, after a certain amount of fails, they will break. But no worries, because the skins needed to make the gloves are laying around the training area in piles and piles. I just grabbed a load full and made the gloves. I don't notice a big difference on highest level theiving. Didn't help me a smack on Hero.
  15. There we go! Thanks! Those are some great pics, just what I was looking for. I want that Zammy outfit! And the Sara too! lol. Thank you very much.
  16. You have do the part of Recipe for Disaster that helps "Dave". Your cat must kill enough "hellrats" to turn to a "hellcat"
  17. Man, I'm having a frustrating search here.... I'm trying to find pictures of people wearing the new treasure trail items. I've looked in the P2P sticky, in the Clues forum, even in the website submissions. Does anyone know of any pics of people wearing the cool new stuff? I wanna see how they look being worn. To be specific, I wanna see how the different God Ranging hides look. You know, the level 3 "Zamarok tinted dragon hide" stuff. It has the same stats as black hides, but looks hotter. How hot, I can't seem to discover. Anyone know of any good equipped pics?
  18. This weekend I tackled the maze for the first time, and tried to use the main site's guide for help. Although it had some good information about the traps, and a very nice map which helped, it did not give any help on the paths available. The paths where "the knob door" and "the puzzle door" is still unknown to me. Where do they lead? Where are they located? Basically, I stumbled on a path that worked best for me, but the guide did not assist here. Maybe some colored lines could be added for the various possible paths and some text included on advised routes? It would make this guide so much more helpful. Thanks for listening.
  19. You stole my story, and you had a much more dramatic ending. The only time I've ever ever gotten the drill demon is trying to tele away from death at Dag Kings. I was on range pray too. Came back, and luckily got out before Prime's blue fireball hit me. I thought for sure I was gonna die in Cammy. Thank god they took randoms out of that nasty room now.
  20. It still works, but just not as well. Depending on how many are playing, if theres a big team, you'd probably be best to let someone else do the nuts. With a small team, you might be forced to do it without the ammy. I don't think its vital though. But theres a noticable difference when you have one.
  21. No one is gonna see them in this forum. This is going to make events less visible. :( Oh well. At least the topic is still visible on General P2P.
  22. For anyone who is online tonight, lets go invade Trouble Brewing! I need some points, and the more players, the more rum we can make, and the more points! I'll be off work at 7pm PST. 10pm EST. Australia and New Zealand will be midday sometime. Not a good time for England and Europe, as it will be like 3 in the morning. Insomniac Brits are welcome! Heh. I'll turn my chat on public (shudders) so if you see me online on world 104, come join us! If you plan on coming, and have never been, I'll take some time and post a mini-guide on here for you. For those of you who have been, lets not spend time and energy on sabatoge. This is the Trouble Brewing fupaw. The amount of rum you make helps your points. If you waste time sabatoging the other team, it doesn't really help you, and takes efforts away from rum production. And since it will be mostly Tipiters on both sides, lets just work together for more points for everyone. Lets get some cool outfits! Requirements: Must have completed all pirate quests to get you on the island. Take the boat from Port Plasmys to get onto the island. The minigame is located on the east side of the island. Go through the north gate of town, and head due east till you hit the big area. Its best to wear Boots of Lightness, and the best hunter weight reducing cape you have (Lots of running in the mini-game) Also, monkey speak amulet. Nothing else. You cannot take anything not equipped into the game, but there is a bank deposit box outside. You collect ingredients to make the rum and put them in the proper bins. You get points for each item collected. You can get a maximum of 100 "ingredient" points. Each rum you make gives you additional points. There are certain "jobs" to do to make the rum. Items needed to complete each job is on the equipment table on the ground floor of your base. You should watch the status bars to see what is needed. Don't waste time and effort collecting something not needed. Collecting water Collecting colored water Collecting grub worms Collecting monkey nuts Collecting bark. Lighting and keeping wood on the burners Collecting water: This is the easiest way to get your 100 points. But its also the least needed ingredient. I suggest you always carry some buckets with you so you can pick up some water from the pump while you are bringing back other items. I believe 15 water needed per rum. Collecting colored water: This is the most needed item because its the hardest to get. You have to run across to the other teams base, pick up colored flowers, come back, put the flowers in the kettle, and use an empty bowl on the kettle to get your colored water. Then deposit into the bin. You can only collect 5 flowers at a time, but may trade more to a partner. Only 1 colored water is needed per rum. Colored water is also needed to get monkey nuts. Collecting monkey nuts: Go to center island and catch a monkey. Use colored water on monkey. Use monkey on the monkey nut tree. If you are wearing monkey ammy, it will ask you to make him careful or angry. If an opposing team's monkey is in the tree, make him angry. If not, make him careful. He will jiggle the tree for a moment, then hand you a monkey nut. You can only carry two at a time. Only 1 is needed per rum. Collecting grub worms: Take some raw meat from equipment table. Go to the grassy areas on the sides of the base, and use them to collect worms. It is best to get a full load of them, and thats all that is needed for the entire game. Only 1 per rum needed. Collecting bark: Take a hatchet and knife from the table. Go cut the choppable tree on the center island. Use knife on the log, and it will give you the bark. Deposit this in the bin. (On the way grab some water) It will only let you carry so much (Not sure on number) The spawn time on a stumped tree is kind of long) Only one bark needed per rum. Lighting the burners: Take a tinderbox from table, and get some wood from the wood pile in the corner. Use logs on the four burners, and light it. Then add some more logs to each burner. If you do enough logs at the beginning it should last all game. Strategies: 1) Most of the team time spent should be collecting colored water and getting monkey nuts. 2) Always keep 15 buckets on you, and collect water everytime you pass by the waterpump while you are doing other tasks. This will be the best way to assure your 100 "job" points. 3) Sabatoge should be ignored. Since both teams are tipiters, and sabatoge takes effort away from rum production, sabatoge will be taboo on this event. 4) Do jobs in batch. If you are getting worms, get enough for the entire game at first, and then spend the rest of your time getting colored water and monkey nuts. 5) When the rum bottle is green on your on-screen menu, someone needs to grab it off the conveyor belt so another one can start being made. 6) Always watch the items needed on the on-sreen menu. If there are 30 worms in stock, don't spend time getting more. Important enough to say twice. 7) Use the waiting time in the waiting room to communicate with your team. Determine jobs for players and everyone should work together for best efficiency. 8) If never been there, check Tip.It main site for maps and locations mentioned in this text.
  23. 1) Red Chimpchompas. You catch them, you weild them, you throw them, they explode. lol. They splash damage in multi-attack zones, so in the mini-game pest control, you can get 200-300 xp from each hamster toss. 2) Black Salamander. You catch them, you wield them, you feed them swamp tar, and they breathe fire. lol. They can be either mage, melee, or range, and the mage highest hit for me is 24, which is higher than just about everything. Haven't even tried to find highest for melee, because its wasted xp for me. Range is kinda "meh". 3) Hunter bow. 2nd best bow in game next to Karils, and it has the added bonus of being able to weild a shield, and the ammo doesn't disappear. Hits hard, and you get to pick up arrow piles. The downfall. Ammo for these things are hard to get. Really hard. Anyway... I'm doing a boring update now, because its not been updated lately. Nothing really exciting though.
