  1. 9/10 Because I really like the art of it. (Got beat) 7/10, becuase 99's are worthy.
  2. rats. meeses are cute, rats are big and nasty. WDYHM: Snakes or Lizards
  3. noobs. Anyone who calls another player a noob is officially a noob. WDYHM: cockroaches or spiders
  4. Well, you need to start the quest to get in there. Legends quest. If you've done Legends and forgotten... no wait... no one can forget that craziness. lol.
  5. Wow, maybe he'll tan hides in notes? That would be super cool. I should try that, it would make sense why he charges so much more.
  6. From what I see, they have a strong effort to listen to player feedback. Castle Wars was a players idea. 99 Capes were players idea. They have a suggestion forum that they look for new idea. They have polls to get a feel for consesus on subjects. New skills released are easier to level due to feedback. Althought it might not seem they're very good at feedback, you gotta keep in mind there are 2 million players. lol. 800k plus members. Thats ALOT of feedback. hehe
  7. I think its a discussion. First one I got was cool. First day of the update. I log in to the Lesser Demon room, this was on RSC. As I deal with log-in chat greetings, a lesser auto attacks, and on there was a left half laying on the ground. First day, first kill, first log in. 4 years later.... lol.... I finally got another one, this one was from a Greater Demon.
  8. Ditto for me. I've been playing this game too long to spend the little time I get to play running around in circles. Agility is my least favorite skill to train. I haven't had a level in ages. Oh wait. Thats not true, I actually got a level from getting Rogues Den outfit. Man that was SO HARD getting that last piece!
  9. Odd, that sig just cracked me up! My first impression was Rexxy asking for your emote, and looked like you were slumped in dispair. Hehe. But its nice to see you still do emotes for level 303 noobs. One more hunting level, bro. Gotta get the <70 skill off the board! And actually 71 gets you boxed imps if you ever wanna go rune mining.
  10. This is probably the first "goodbye" thread I've responded to. You were a credit to the game, the staff, and the community. You are one I hope turns "retirement" into a break. And if not, respect goes to you, and best wishes in life.
  11. I was thinking of this the other day. Range needs ammo. Mage needs runes. Melee should have weapons and armor "break". This is the way it SHOULD be. A sword shouldn't last forever. Hmph.
  12. I have no idea who it was, and it wasn't me, but I have something to add to the topic. lol. Last night I got a Sara Crozier from a Clue, and went to Edge to see if I could find a friend to share my glory with. Before long I was standing in the bank with Artemis and Oddfaery. We started talking about high dollar special items, and we were trading multi million dollar items back and forth so each of us could try them on. Artemis let me try on his 3 million sara robes. Odd and I tried on each others 200 million dollar party hats. I gave QueenValerie a red party hat to use for a party I couldn't make the next day. And I had zero concerns about being scammed by them. And this is when I realized how much I appreciate I have friends in this game I can completely and totally trust. With all the scammers, all the me-me-me, free stoof plox, pixel hungry attitudes in this game.. This kind of trust is precious.
  13. What if there were no teleports or travels? You actually had to walk EVERYWHERE. I don't think I'd play anymore. lol. I hate walking. You know that treasure trail place were you dig in the corner of Yanille behind the anvils? There's a bank right there, right? I still rub my glory to Edgeville. lol.
  14. I tend to believe this... "A clue is a clue". I seriously doubt that they programmed the clue to "remember" what dropped it. I seriously doubt they programmed the clue to remember how long ago it was dropped. They took the time to program three different clue levels. Thats where it stops. Its just a random number generator determining the reward when its time, probably using similiar coding that the drop formula uses. Probably, the only thing the clue remembers is what type of clue it is (Level 1, 2, or 3) and how many clues are in the trail. I understand that we tend to have some coincidences that generate "theories" and "superstitions" about how it works, but I've done enough of these dang things to realize that its just a random hit. But I DO believe good clue rewards comes in streaks. Hehehehehe. Lee! You just totally contradicted yourself! Shame! \
  15. Don't just sit at Catherby and watch the grass grow. Run around! Get your travel route! Be a travelling farmer! You won't be able to keep up with it. Seriously. By the time you finish all your rounds, you'll have to steal more seeds because you planted so many. You won't be able to plant, and get seeds faster than the crops get ready.
  16. This is a fun skill to level in. But if you just stand around one spot and wait for grass to grow... you won't like it, you won't level fast, and you won't be a farmer. You gotta race the clock. Go to all the spots. 4 allotments, 5 if you did the quest. 4 hop places. 4 fruit trees. 4 regular trees. You'll start sparkling. You'll start seeing what you can grow next. You'll sparkle some more. You'll start seeing what herbs you want to grow and set your goal. You'll find uses for your produce. You'll enjoy the herb output. - Use supercompost for less disease. Some will die, but so what. You'll be so busy running around getting exp, it won't matter. - Have fun doing the mole, cutting trees, and other ways of getting tree seeds. - Get your thieving up by stealing seeds, and collecting them in your bank. Start saving all the herb seeds you get for future use. If you actually do it the right way, its very easy to get hooked on.
  17. Bah. I just go with whoever has the coolest outfits, and appropriate stats. lol. Guthix has the best blessed dragonhide outfit, because it goes with the ranger set and cape. Although Sara dragonhide has the coolest icon on the chest. Sara has the best looking robe set, and his crozier is really cool looking. The blue is just really rich looking in that outfit. Sara has the best looking altar icon for the house. Zammy cape looks the best with dragon outfit, and black mystic. The books are nice for offense or defense, depending on what you're fighting. Guthix book is not in the bank. I'm just too into the clothes. I might be a gay woman trapped in a mans body. :P
  18. My name is actually a second choice. Before runescape, I was known as Leester online. When I tried to sign up for this silly game, what, 5 years ago? Leester was already taken. And Runescape was very small at this time... maybe 10 total servers. So I had to make it Leesters. I like Leesters better, because Leester was like.."Did you misspell Lester?" lol. Anybody ever seen a player named Leester? He must get alot of HYT's, and he's like.. Wth?? lol
  19. But there might very simply be a bug in the program that doesn't allow it work as planned. This is my guess. No one can prove it because it would take a very large amount of accurate data. Possibly a million logs without a statistical significant difference written in a bug report would make them take a second look at the code. Any Statistics 101 students out there? I think someone in the class should do a "significant difference" formula for the silly rabbits foot, and send in a bug report.
  20. Doing Barrows for first time.... Brought an uncharged ammy. No teleport. Couldn't find my way out. Out of food. Must drop stuff to make sure I don't lose the highest value items. I watch myself die slowly. Time to replace my stuff. First off to get my cooking gauntlets. Then I need to go get my green vial... OMG! Doh!
  21. With the house treasure chest, the newly added items, I think Treasure trails are as popular as ever. And I disagree that they don't make money. Level 3's always make money. And lets say you do green or blue dragons to get them. You have hides, bones, and clues. Three sources of income. I love clues. I've done close to a thousand. Also in a quest to fill the house treasure chest, and you never know.... there's now a party hat like item on the list. Third age shield is what... 120 mil? Lol. Just about any special item is cloe or not more than a million. Level 3 clues can be a huge profit. Level 1 and 2, no. I think treasure trails are as popular as ever, for those of us who always did them before, anyway.
