According to Jagex, the only thing that affectts the chances of getting a barrows item is the number of brothers you kill. So, kill count in itself, other than the brothers, does not affect the chances of getting an item.

Then explain why 6 kill count gets small amounts of chaos death and mind while 20s gets bloods, racks and high amounts Like I said, a higher kill count increases your odds of getting better rune drops. So, if you have a high kill count, you're more likely to get bloods and racks. Low count will probably get you coins and mind runes. What I meant is... better "type of rune" drops. A barrow brother will drop on of the following: Coins 300ish mind runes 180ish chaos runes 80ish death runes 40ish blood runes 40ish bolt racks. And of course, Half key/Barrows Item/Drag med. A high kill count improves your chances of getting a drop higher on the rune list.

Yes, its no fun waiting. Its MUCH funner if you make sure you farm ALL possible patches in Runescape. With the "traveling farmer" routine, you'll actually have to race yourself to get done with everything in time, the leveling is multiple times faster, and its alot more fun that just standing around "watching grass grow". You have four allotment patches, four hops patches, four bush patches, and eight tree patches. Use them all, and enjoy the skill much more.

The reason for the price increase is because of the newly added items. With a larger list of possible items, the chance of getting ranger boots from a clue is drastically smaller. Since the new "coif" has been added, the robin hood price was offset, and not affected much. Since no new item for ranging boots was added, the ranger boots took a hit. They will probably continue to raise in price due to the rarity.

Kill count does not affect your odds of getting an item, other than killing all six brothers. Kill count does affect your odds of getting better rune drops.

Yeah, I'll do a bank pic after its all pretty again. Keep a look out in Gen P2P for Dagganoth Team thread. If you've never been before, then you're gonna have to wait for a Dag King for newbies event. If you have, then you're gonna need a referral saying you've shared drops before. The team is a little leary of newcomers not sharing drops, which is understandable.

Christmas is over. Thank god. lol. I'll be back online on my regular part-time basis like before. During the holiday weeks, I only managed to play a little bit here and there, but still managed some success. Updating now.

Oh, well... There was another thread asking "Whats your runescape regret?" Amd I reponded with... "I got hacked twice. Once by a logger, once by a friend. Lost my blue partyhats, never again." I noticed that it rhymed so nicely, so I started writing a poem. Then it started to sound like the christmas poem, and so I made it fit. Then I liked how it turned out so much, I put it on its own thread because no one would read page 6 of the other one. Hehe. Sorry if I freaked anyone out. lol.

O *phew* I thought you just got hacked or something and made this...thats good that you didnt... :D No, and they didn't have bank pins back then. It still surprises me how many I get. No matter what world I'm on. Some of them are quite cool.. Some of my favorite HYT's: Training all alone late at night at Nechs, and someone runs in from Abby demons. Then he ran back to his abby room. That qualifies as most polite, even though he scared me. One of the more common amusing ones. Two friends training together, I walk through the room.... Player 1: Omg, its Leesters! Player 2: ???? (As in... "who the hell is that?" lol) That one always makes me smile. Another amusing one.... I go on public due to an event... Player 1: Hyt! Player 1: Hey do u no (such and such)? *adds* Leesters: Hyt. : ) Sounds familiar Player 1: He says he hates u. Leesters: Lol. Why? Player 1: Dunno, I'll ask. *pause* Player 1: he asked 4 money and u gave him a bronze pick, and ur mean? lololol!. Guilty! Uhh.... :oops: I never use leetspeak. I always correct typos. I always use punctuations. My only chatspeaks I use are "whatchya doing?" For "what are you doing" and "Cya" and "Wanna" Occupational hazard. Thats probably a 9.

They are in the Taverly dungeon next to the Black Dragons. You have to go past the Black Demons and poison spiders. There are great ranging spots, and most people do range them.

The most reliable is buying runes from stores, and selling to players. And you're not trying to lo-ball/scam sellers that way. I call this the "honor merchant". lol

Arrows are the fastest xp All you need is feathers, which most of us have a pile of. And the ranging guild sells the shafts. If you have the bars, make the arrows. Great xp, plus you get arrows for range, and it just means you need less yew longs to hit. Its allllllllllllllll good. :)

You probably wore something with less mage bonus or something. Contrary to belief, magic bonus DOES affect magic dart. But with the Barrows nooby magic levels, you won't notice, unless your magic levels are nooby also. But maybe they PC'd some levels (ie, jagex gave them some magic levels to make them harder) Wouldn't know myself, because I use black salamander on those dudes now. Totally rocks down there, and i get to keep the runes.
