I believe the experiment is quite valid. They showed there is a correlation to how long someone has to think, and how likely they are to cheat. Assuming the sample size was large enough that is. (So that randomness is accounted for.) However, it is correlation only, not strict causation. So the conclusion they drew is not based on enough evidence.

They can't make dragon armour without making it not fit in with the class or being useless due to being underpowered. The only real option is as a spec weapon. But we already have very powerful specials. I could see them introducing dragon smithing though and adding all the other stuff at that point.

Also, don't get the wings for bonus xp. Get wisdom if you reaaally want that bonus. Get the wings because they look cool though :)

The mining outfit takes me too long. Yeah the tasks motivated me to attempt to race someone for elite tasks. My friend needs trekking, I need 91 fishing.

That will change again as the year goes. Christmas was only 3months ago.

I think some of the issues is the player base also. Even in the way guides for content is written. "High level" is now 138 combat with 96 herblore, because that is the most efficient. This leads to situations where a player who is perfectly capable of solo'ing a gwd general gets out damaged by someone better who crashes. So the player decides that he needs higher (x) and feels that he can't obtain it on his own. I like Donate's suggestion: A jagex official tracker for the highscores which shows top xp skill gains per day and per month, with fancy graphs like normal trackers. Being official means exposure to more players. It would give other players some time in the limelight :) (Could have daily and monthly trackers as well.) Keep monthly trackers to show all xp gained in that month reset each month. Also getting rid of bots is not proven impossible but it is improbable. What happens when there is a bot which can mimic human behavior exactly? (Turing Test concept). Then you can't 'detect' it without finding a case where it breaks, or detecting humans as bots. (False positives must be avoided here...)

I think its wrong, because I know that I would not get work done. If its the kind of job I have though (A thinking behind the desk job) then I do understand. The reason is because you can't expect 8 hrs of creativity out of a person. So there is some give and take. I know for myself it would distract me and make my work horrible.

The original design sketches for elite appeared to be more gray tinted. Also, I want the old varrock top back. The new one is far too bright.

Void doesn't work with slayer helm for tasks, and requires deflector for goliath gloves. Did you mean Karils for waterfiends? Gano is only really worth it in places that have high mage dmg output, that way the 50% soak can really shine. I like it at waterfiends but it isn't necessary. I just like reducing the APM from flashing soulsplit :)

I believe it does. You also get more rewards for your time and its not really much slower.

Yeah, although... you have more time as a ranger to fire if they are farther away. Hence it should be more accurate/damaging semi-close but not right next to you. Then again since the opponent nicely waits for you to fire the next shot before attacking.....

I would use a combination of green and golds, trying to max xp/charm. I would save blues until geysers, if possible. I would focus on getting up to 68 for bunyip, and the spirit kyatt. The kyatt allows you to use charms much faster, which is always nice. I would avoid using blues until you can do geyser titans. (Buy the pouches you need that have blues as the charm base). Once you get to 68+ (esp if you didn't use blues) I would save up again till you have enough non-blues to make geyser titans. These are the best xp/charm, though they do cost a bit more. (Still worth it imo)
