  1. Farming is very easy to get lots of experience a day :P You plant the best trees, and check them as soon as possible, and all the other time you loop through the allotments and specials. With that, you can pretty much constantly farm and if you use good stuff, it's fairly fast exp. Trees though, make it really easy. Slayer however, is completely based on luck of assignments. While it's "probably" possible to get decently fast exp by getting tons of cannonable assignments like dagannoths, we know that slayer assignments will never give you the same one twice in a row. Slayer also, can only be bought in a side effect way of using the cannon, where as most skills when "bought" increase in speed dramatically, slayer doesn't go up as fast in experience/time
  2. I've been playing since *same char* sometime in 2001. I don't know what month, just that I am sort of old school. xD :( Not on this list though.
  3. When I have a scythe... ;) But I was super nooby during my old school times :( So I didn't get any thing like mask etc, though I was playing around those times :(
  4. Honestly, there is nothing we can do about them.
  5. RSC was fun, but I myself prefer RS2. That's because I work very hard to continue a close knit group of friends, and they keep the game fun. I do think that RSC was better in not telling everything. I hope Jagex will release MUCH more things that people have to actually figure out on their own. Like the shadow mini quests, but more of them.
  6. Some of the potions are useful, not all of them. They would ALL be useful if it wasn't limited to 2 dose, but to 3 or 4 instead. However, the agility pot is useful in the brimhaven agility arena. Don't bring food, just bring pots, and drink when you get lowl. Gives you a free agility boost too. Doesn't over heal you. That is the one I can think of now. Maybe sara brews? Or (if anyone actually uses) offsetting the damage taken by zammy brews?
  7. Poison damage. anyone? An iron dagger ++..
  8. This month sounds pretty interesting :D
  9. I still wanna go try that sometime, but I really need a ton of free time. Gotta watch those videos on it too!
  10. They probably changed it. I know the herbs were changed with My Arm's patch because otherwise herb farming would be even easier.
  11. Fletching was released for RSC Members. Was actually one of the first skills released for members. That and herblore. Runecrafting is relatively new. However, the reason its not as high as fletching is a) it takes a quest, (and easy one, but people DO have to figure that out) and B) its painful to level. For people who DON'T play that often, and Don't already have 70ish skills+, and who don't know how long it really takes, 30 in rc is pretty tough. Plus, its not worth it at ALL in f2p. None of the useful runes at all can be crafted, so most people stop before 30 because its useless. There are various reasons. Fletching is also way easier to level up, not counting the very very first few levels.
  12. Hatebringer: The reason for the above is because of the same thing as why toast SEEMS To take longer to toast if you watch it constantly. The less you pay attention, the less time it SEEMS to take. The more you pay attention, the more your brain processes information, the longer it will SEEM to take. It has nothing to do with actual rarity. I mean, how can the GAME know what your trying to do. It just seems that way, because our brains make connections like that.
  13. Well, I would imagine that if they had to update a popular world, such as one of the lower ones like 2 or 66 or some of the other player popular ones, they would transfer the link for world 2 to another world while they update the standard world 2 server. This would prevent chaos ensuing on the RSOF and also be very simple to do.
  14. It makes sense to me. A rat would spawn and a specific spawn point, or a random rat will have the key. It's because the rat has the key on the drop list or doesn't. I imagine you could kill 1000s of those rats, and would never get the key from them except the ones that would now give you the message. Its because of how they code the drop lists probably.
  15. OR the average is 75 minutes, but its not EXACT. I KNOW that, because originally, in the Knowledge Base they had times listed. Herbs were 75 minutes. However, an AVERAGE MEANS that some are below and some are over.
  16. I'm afraid to say that 110 minutes is NOT 1 hour... 60 minutes to an hour, 2 hours = 2*60 minutes = 120 minutes, not 110.
  17. There are always changes, but its hard to see them. What I want to see is either increase the ability to withstand hits, or decrease ALL hits, so that they can again introduce more powerful stuff. (That is, increase armor now, to match up with all these super high hitting things they introduce)
  18. The maximum you can possibly get is near 140. If you just do water the entire time, you can average 140 too, but then people get mad at you for not playing.
  19. This is interesting. I might get me one of these ^^
  20. speak friend, and enter mellon *opens* 1 nerd point if you get the reference -1 nerd points if I didn't get that ;) Lord of the Rings at the entrance to Moria. Gandalf had trouble remembering the word, and even tries using all of the great words of opening. Melon is elvish for friend. Now, can someone tell me which elvish? ;) +10 nerd points if you can
  21. Yeah, I have noticed that the history of the game doesn't really exist, but then again, its not really meant to. I think they should add more history to places, but they did stuff, and can't really change it. They should start now, or add "history" that "works" for those crazy areas.
  22. Yeah, the "official" ones set up by the majority of players already work fine.
  23. My theory isn't adding a new skill, but it could be. Make a skill, or use agility, to add more "special" moves to combat. This would add new animations for each one, and do special things, *not like weapon specials, because the weapon wouldn't matter* So you could do like dodge, go through defense, get around prayer *by using a different type of attack for htat hit etc* I could think of tons, but I love the idea. Make fighting more random.
  24. I would rather see a new prayer set with its own advantages, but so that you CAN'T use the old prayers with the new prayers. Not sure what this would entail, because its slightly strange. The idea is that "we have ancients, but they don't get teleblock" we have lunar, but they don't get barrage, only vengeance. Basically, what I mean is that we should get prayers that work in new ways, on another set, but that won't have the current bonuses.
