You sound like me mostly... I've been on this site since before the account purge that happened a while back *quite a while back* And then I stopped coming for a few years, but now I'm back :) No one knows me though xD Yeah, I check around at random mostly, trying to find a good topic :D

You can't be attacked directly in the maze, but you have a much larger area where you can be attacked whilst in the maze. The abyss is a TON faster, as well as a shorter distance of wildy, specially if you telly back to edge instead of walking. You'll get skulled, but you aren't really carrying anything of amazing use.

There are several sites that will do this. One such site is rsbandb... That's Runescape Bits and Bytes, I believe.

I'd say get higher attack first, then strength. Currently, defense is GOOD, but not as good as the others. I would say 85 def :| But then again, I'm only in the 70s for my combat stats, so I don't know Defense SHOULD lower damage taken, but it doesn't :(

I'd wish that no one could make any wishes... Nah, not really. I'd want to go back and get all of the holiday items. Not extras, but just so I have 1 of each rare. I'd do that, or wish that all the interfaces would be updated, including adding things like a seed pouch and updating the house bedroom character change interfaces...

Personally, I play a girl character even though I'm a guy... Various reasons, among them, the fact that I'd rather watch a girl doing stuff than a guy xD And it makes the game seem more enjoyable, since most people are more polite... I don't upfront tell people, unless they ask, but I don't ever tell them I AM a girl (THAT would be wrong, and lying) I know a few girls, who play, and a few guys who play female characters. *shrugs* Anyone on my friends list should know I'm a guy, not a girl, so no biggie :o ^_^ Nice good discussion and thread, by the way!!

Yeah, gold makes the most sense for uses of that place.

I've never gotten a single drop, and some people get them very fast. It's all luck, because the random generator is controlled not just by an algorithm, but I imagine *speculation here* by players actions. And with a thousand players per server on average (more usually) that's a lot of actions that affect the number generator. I would say that they're rare, but there is no "guaranteed" number to kill and get the drop. Just bite the bullet, and kill them till it drops, or move on.

I wouldn't bother. Seriously, you won't die that often, if you have 29 glories plus a few extra *it's sort of expensive* you can do nats fairly fast. Also, glories aren't THAT expensive really, and you make more money on the nats anyway. It's a fairly fast money maker, and so you don't really lose that much if you die anyway. Why go to the extra trouble, when it's not worth it?

Shades, if I am correct aren't the same all the time. It's a fun minigame, but not really a good way to train fm/prayer. Plus, don't you need to bless all that oil? That can be pretty hard to do. Really, ectofunctus is fast, but I would use house alter... takes only a FEW more bones, for a TON less time. And you can usually find someone willing to open their house for ya :)

Get gold gauntlets, and smelt gold. It's a TON faster than smithing bars into items, and it's slightly more xp per bar than steal (including smelting and smithing) and for gold, you gain it all just smelting. It's kinda expensive, but you can sell the gold bars if you really want. Doing that in port phasmatys is probably the fastest or close you'll be able to achieve. Cannon balls aren't that great, but they make a profit.

I've rarely had a problem at the wildy course. Usually when I do, it's not that hard to run... Or bring an item, like dagger, and fight them if you get attacked. I've escaped more than once, from people looking for easy targets out there. But the ape atoll place you'll fail a ton unless your 70+ The cold war, I don't know, it seems pretty slow the one time I did it. Tickets are ok, but personally, I think they take a long time to get, with no instant reward. It's up to you really. I would do tickets, since you also get xp getting the tickets, so in reality, you'll get more than 300k xp while getting the 1k tickets. Just stick to whichever you choose.

Try it. I don't know, I would probably say it doesn't work, because the game logic lists them as a seperate item, unless Jagex specifically told it to work. But there is no reason not to try :)

Rock crabs are far to crowded, usually. Maybe try the security stronghold? Those monsters are fairly decent, and have great drops too :) Some other suggestions include giants of some type, moss or normal are good for their bones. Jogres work to. *Some of these might be a little hard for you* Moss I think is fairly good. Or slayer, if your up for the challenge, it's a nice way to raise combat.

I believe I have more than 15 spirit seeds, but I'm not sure... I'll post a pic/screenie as soon as I get home and have a chance to sit at the compy for longer than a few minutes.

Lol, the axe head random caused a TON of problems, not least of which was the "dragon axe handle" scam... They sold an axe handle for millions, even though all axe handles are the same... You could put a dragon head on an axe handle that a bronze axe fell off...

The problem with the argument "there is no universal set of ethics" and "i can do whatever i want to make me happy" breaks down very easily. Ever been punched in the face? "But... you HURT me!!" "I don't care, it felt good" Who is right? Both can't be, because the puncher say's its ok, and the person who got hit says its wrong. The two answers depend on the other being wrong. There IS a universal set of ethics, but the only reason people pay attention to them is because the law is there to protect that set of ethics. And it seems to be dwindling everywhere I look every day.

A system update would only slow the bots down a few times... The reason it slows them down, is that it's not expected. Once a patern emerges, they can just be there to reopen the bot.

I would prefer the links on the bottom. To the above comments about how it would be difficult to do the dots in the middle as links... It's only slightly more difficult, because you can just use a image map to create the locations that are clickable and where they go.

^ Yeah, that's why you ALWAYS use in 1k increments of stuff, it does a few things a) it makes it way easier to calculate the prices, so its faster B) it makes it much harder to swap around like that, and its easier to detect c) why not?
