This is a good guide :) Although you don't mention the members shortcut, I figure that its BETTER to mine in a f2p world anyway, because they will be less crowded here, and generally faster, especially if you teleport.

People don't understand that a computer CANNOT generate truelly random numbers. They can generate what are called 'pseudo" random numbers which are a close enough aproximation, but in reality, they ARE NOT random, and can actually be predicted, if you have the information. Also statistics comes into play with random and pseudo-random sequences. It's not "luck" in the sense that you need to be "lucky" to get it, but its luck in the sense that you got something quickly that has a very low probability of happening that way. What people consider as luck is close enough to call it luck.

You might want to note, that there is a glitch with the cave that when you teleport out of the cave, you will still not have a minimap. I'm going to report this.. even though it would be a fun glitch for wildy thigns... IF you could be sure everyone else had it... but its kinda fun for a second, then painfully annoying. Loggin in and out fixes the problem, and it only happens if you leave the cave improperly.

he meant he'd love to have EVERYONE start fresh... so that its actually hard to do things. I mean.. if EVERY SINGLE player was at level 3... and no skills, it would be fun again, because you could be "good" lol And because you'd have to do stuff yourself.

what about hunter? I don't think there are any training options that don't require using a specific tool that costs at least a "few" gp. Granted, you can get someone ELSE to give you one, but IMO that doesn't count.

I never trained on them long enough to get a left half, but I found them OK afk training, better if you have a cannon. So, I really don't know, but I would give it a go, and see how you like it :D

personally, I LOVE it when lower leveled players have the Quest Cape, because many of the combat quests are harder at lower levels. My definition of low is like 70ish lol :) *I did monkey madness below 70 combat*

Well... I can see your argument, and I agree somewhat. My question is, what if Jagex introduced an item who's drop-rate actually decreased over time? I think that third-age will stay "rare", and the prices will go up, because of how hard it is to get a piece. I also think, that the number of sets into the game per day is pretty low, and that it is more constant than a percent increase. Who really knows? Lets just wait and see.

Well... I know how to do it on a Linux machine.. and I'm sure it could be adapted to a windows machine. You basically use a program that loops back the audio device into a recording software, so that instead of actually sending the data to the physical audio device and speakers, its sent to a program that saves it into a wav etc. It's very simple, and is also the easiest way to convert a DRM protected music file into a Free format such as MP3
