I would use fires. They are faster, and more useful. Faster xp (if you are using rings) and ALSO can be more used.

Yes... achey logs once trimmed for arrows use a random ammount of feathers, from 2 to 6. The AVERAGE of these is 4, so you SHOULD be safe bringing 4, but the max is 6, so one guide used the average, the other the max. I would bring at least 6 feathers each :)

Do the newest quest, swan song, (if you can) then on the island beach type area there is the fastest way to collect seeweed. There is a spot there for netting seeweed and its the fastest way. If you can't do that, entrena with a glory.

Personally, if something has a str training option, and that style of attack is decent, use whatever. I would assume that the faster you attack/deal damage, the faster you level, as you kill monsters faster.
