can free people hold pure ess
But can a f2p player use them on a f2p world? Notice that banking is different for members on a f2p world (they still get large bank, even though it's f2p) But I believe you can use pure essence on f2p runes on f2p chars. It doesn't matter, as normal essence is far cheaper...

blood runecrafting
You should sell them fairly early before the update, if you can help it. Because if people know they will come out soon for crafting, EVERYONE will sell them as fast as possible, and buyers will wait till crafting, making the price drop early.

how long to 99 hunter from 61
Well, you can find out how many items you need for 99 hunter, using a tip.it calculator. I would say red chins, and use normal chins to get to the red chins hunter level. Then, you would time yourself for two hours, for a few days, and see how many red chins per day you can do. Then work out how many days from there. Since I don't have 99 hunter, it's hard to tell. But I hear once you get to red chins, it can take maybe 2 weeks of major playing. So it could probably be done a in few months at 2 hours a day, as long as you keep it up.

Ideal money making?
It really depends on if you want to train skills. I use kingdom for money, and I usually do coal and maples... works out fairly well ^^

favorite quote?
"nood isn't a level, it's an atitude" is one of my favorites :D Also are from game: "This is not the mightiest tree in the forest" and "It can't be done" (might be cannot, don't remember)

They do, but it takes a while. (Or at least, back in RSC they used to...)

How long is Recipe for Disaster?
If you have all the requirements, it's not very long. But some of the sections can be annoying. I would say overall it's one of the longer quests, but the requirements are much harder to get (I spent days cooking fish to get to 70 cooking, because I was broke and had to fish my own.. :'( )

The case ''F2P Kingdom managing''
it DOES carry on while you are in F2p, however, you should be aware of how it works. Every day, it takes out 10% (up to 75k) of your coffers. Then, it adds a certain amount of that money to your "work payment" which is equal to your approval rating percent times the amount of money they take out. Example, if they take out 50k, and you have 50% approval, then you only get 25k in resources for that day. This means, that after 100 days, they are taking out money and you are getting NOTHING. Also, when you aren't approval 100 then you lose resources. Your aproval rate goes down 1% every day. So for when you are F2p, a month will be good, but more than that you are going below 70% of the money is turned into resources. Be careful that you don't leave it in forever, or you will surely lose more money than you gain resources. It is handy though, for a month or so when you lose membership :)

the 2 eastest skill capes to get
In terms of price, and speed, woodcutting is easier than some 99s because it's profitable and doesn't require much money, and if you don't sell logs, firemaking is easier than other 99s when done together. But really, no 99 is "easy" to get, it's just those are cheap and easier than other 99s. The other ones that aren't as cheap but are fast are cooking, fletching, and stuff. If your up for it, I hear hunter is really fast also, once you get to red chins. Those things are good sellers so you make tons of cash too.

Magic roots
I agree with onauric... They sell them because the farmers want money back, and since not that many people get them, they set the price very high to make some cash.

Shadow of the Shades
What's the point? Just get full ghostly. Hood and etc. is in the set. f2p is the point no it isnt, the point is that the hood would be completely black, which would look really kickass. makes you feel a little more assasin than with full ghostly. I don't like full ghostly to be honest.. dropped it yesterday to give myself an extra free line of space... its easy to get back... and the shade robes are harder to obtain, however, they do look like priests robes... Uhhh... costume room anyone? You can put ghosty in there! :D

Odd moments
You people have some fairly odd moments :) I once made two trades at once, and I traded the wrong thing to a person. Good thing they caught it, and realized what I'd done. Thought I was gonna be reported for scamming lol

Who's To Blame?
You'll never fix the problem by blaming victims. You won't fix the problem by teaching everyone perfectly. You have to remove the scammers in the first place. You can halt the problem and slow it down by knowing how to avoid it, but there will always be scammers. They aren't that easy to simply wish away...

Aug 15, 2007: Dev diaries and themed worlds update
I like their music most of the time :D But it DOES lack lyrics... Meh, it's still fairly good, and you can turn it off if you like ;)

Magic - Ranged and Combat levels (Please Read)
I don't know the exact formula, but here are some examples At 99 range, or mage with 99 hp (and nothing else) you would be combat level 73. So as long as your prayer and defense are 1, then any combat over 73 is purely melee based. But let's say you are 70 att and str and 99 hp ( I know the 99 hp is farfetched here...) then you can go as far as 94 mage AND range before either adds to your combat. The basic idea is that melee range and mage are each combat styles. If one would make you higher the others don't count towards combat level.

Managing Thy Kingdom
Personally, I try to keep my favor over 95% and my cash over 750k. They take out 10% a day cash, but only 75k at maximum, so keep a large pool of cash in there so you don't have to worry about it. Also, I go for 100% coal, and 50% maples. Maples give a bonus of nests which contain tree seeds, and are used in saradomin brews (they sell for a good amount each) and the tree seeds speaks for itself in price or farming xp, whichever you want. Coal I chose, because it gives a fairly good profit while still having a good shifting time (time it takes to sell it)

a brief recap and a problem i need help with...
Go play some multiplayer games with him. And by multiplayer, I mean multiplayer. You might THINK of runescape as a multiplayer game, but in reality, it is a single player game that you play with millions of people. Go play cards, or hang out in rl, or play some cube or xbox or whatever floats your boat. I know for pretty much fact that you'll have a better relationship with friends you actually hang out with. That's not to say that runescape friends are bad or anything, just that real life friends are better ;) But if you really must, I don't know how to convince someone to stop WoW until they realize that it's a waste of time. Sadly, the same is true of RS, sooo... I try not to sway to either side of the which MMO is better than the other. Each has strengths and weaknesses.

Brimhaven Agility Course. Only answer if you REALLY know.
The brimhaven agility arena IS a minigame, and it's "technically" a high risk game, in that you CAN die and lose items (if you aren't paying any attention at all) It's a ticket based game, that works like so: You have to tag pillars in a row, so the first pillar starts the sequence, and every minute or so, a new pillar is flagged. You have to tag that pillar before the time is up, and you get a ticket. If not, you have to start over. So for ever 2nd and beyond pillar you get without missing = 1 ticket. The pillars are split up by obstacles that require certain levels to pass. Some are advisable to skip, while some are good. See the guide for more information on how to play the minigame. When you get tickets, you can trade them in for experience or items such as herbs (or the pirate hook) on the first floor. The experience is best when you trade in 1k tickets (300xp) but 1k tickets can sometimes take a while. I find it much more fun than any agility course, but also a bit slower that some of the best courses. My recomendation is that you don't even try till at least 40 agility, and do NOT attempt the darts obstacles. If you do go, bring agility pots. The darts obstacles are very hard to pass at lower levels, and also reduce your agility level by 3 every time you mess up (making the next try harder). They can be avoided, and unless you are really high agility they should be. Hope that helps! :D EDIT: Will it be easy to die as a level 3? Maybe, but since you only have 10 hp, the obstacles will not kill you in one hit. You should bring lots of food, and be careful. Most obstacles should only hit 2-3 on you at 10 hp, so you can survive, but make sure you learn how much they hit. As a level 3, you have to be careful, but not overly careful.

Need combat advice from upper level RS players
The SoS is the place to go for training in f2p. Not sure which monsters, but level 2 or 3 I believe has the spiders and flesh crawlers. Those will be the best experience you can get in f2p, with some nice (bonus: stackable) drops, so you can just keep them, and not even waste food when they drop over and over :D

Answered thanks.
Imo, sharks are better... you'll level up more, *unless your crafting is REALLY low* and it seems less boring to me (more people talk when you fish sharks :D, and the interval between loads is longer)

Just started playing again as a non member HELP!
Since I don't know much about F2P, I'm not all that useful. However, raising crafting sounds like a good approach. Also, if you want to make money, I've heard that merchanting cow-hides works very well in f2p :D

Question about a way to pay for members
Sorry, I don't know how that's done, and it sounds fishy to me. Really, just do something like mow some lawns or whatever. And you can do money orders for like slightly more than 5 bucks a month. Just do something for money, but online stuff is a little fishy, so if you do choose to go that route, be careful.

lvl 3 clue
Well, you should edit your posts in the future instead of re-posting, however: Getting the range will be slower IMO, but it will be beneficial to you in the longer run. Having the clue will help drive the goal, and so you should be better/more willing to complete it :D You might just get a clue which needs 50 range again, so be careful if you drop it :

Slayer Dart
While I admire your idea, you need to test a whole lot more than 20 to find probability (the system is random enough) The reason you can use slayer dart in rune at barrows, is they have SUPER negative mage defense bonus, so it actually hits them MORE than a normal level 3 man. however, if you have a serious attack deficiency, then you might notice it. Don't try slayer dart in rune against anything with a useful defense bonus.

where is Reinald in Keldagrim?
Do you know where the bridge that crosses the river is? Go east from there, and you'll see a building marked by a armband symbol. :) It should be obvious, with several people there.
