i kind of like to post on this thread : / but still, it's not as fast as whip, a little slower, and not as good in strenght (at least not if whip is together with defender) has much worse attack bonuses + no defence bonuses... but it has a strenght training option though \

don't know if anyone has written this.. but seren (tha elfen god) isn't really a god, but a crystal beeng, created by guthix, so she is more like a demi-god ^^

yeeah, and i've had several people thinking that the anchor was one too-.. one didn't even believe me when i said it wasn't : /

that little cutscene... getting out of the meat-shop a level 93 player, named elfenlocks walks by.. i know about a player called elfenlocks, (some numbers behind) with 93 combat (don't know her that good, but still... fun to see that smilarity)

78 hitpoints - it's kind of good to have when beeng hit without knowing ^^ 78 attack - i got a whip, i don't like to train with scim, so attack is highest. 75 strenght - i had 75 attack, felt like balancing these out 75 defence - what to say, don't this sound a little like? 74 magic - wtf? what's up with me, i don't like combat, i like skills!!! i don't want just combat levels!!!! ooh, i remember, i've been training slayer ^^

Dlong + Rune def is better then DScimmy and Rune Def :uhh: well.. what should i say, scimmy is faster, so it's still better, as the d long isn't that much better in stats, i think anchor could still beat d scim, as it's quite much better than the scim (not in attack though) and btw, the anchor looks good, you run funny, and when you do, your cape blows behind you ^^

well, this depends a lot on wich monster you train on. if you train against a monster with high defence, and more crush defence than slash, then scimmy is probably better. but if you are fighting a thing with low crush defence, or just low overall defence, so you hit most of the times, then this anchor would be better, as you'll hit it harder... the speed is not much to say on, as the speed is about the speed of a longsword, not anything to worry about.. so an overall, as long the monster doesn't have a high crush defence, then it would probably be better to use the anchor instead of scimmy.

this weapon, i acctually think it's better than a d scim when training strenght, at least, if you train on a monster with low defence, or better defence against slash than crush... the weapon is fairly fast to be a 2handed weapon too ^^ still, whip is better than this weapon, but i can see that pking may change a little... people using dds specs, and this weapon instead of whip. but if you loose the anchor, you can get it back right? for the same 50k? because if it it, then it's very likely to be a wildy weapon, as it's cheaper than a d scim, hits harder, and that most meleers in wildy uses plates (low crush defence). against rangers and mages, then the attack bonus won't to so much, as that defence is already quite low. anchor ftw =)

that book heals poison after quest too, i though so when i picked it up... but that means... i don't have to use anti-poisons anymore, kbd would get a little cheaper^^ but btw, how much prayer does it drain (oh, i forgot, i still need that holy symbol) and for those who tough you just could use that in wildy, it may be dodgy.. if your opponent got a higher prayer level than you, then the book won't work ^^

I understand the "won't" by why the "cannot"? he's 47 pray, you need 50. ^^

but the anchor, is it better than a d scimmy to train strenght with? cause if it is ^^ i'm just going to be happy, and without doubt going to spare a spot in my bank for it

i've don't got a single token now, cashed all in to my 9 suits, dropped 2 frog heads for bank space lately, and dropped about 20 tokens i guess, also said no quite a few times [/i]

it's probably a little mix of all, but mostly,it helps getting away stress, as i mostly do things i find fun here anyway... i could never powertrain a skill for a long time :notalk:

what about lemmings, they "explode" if they get stressed =D maybe a lemchilla = chinchompa?

a thing you could add on this guide, is the possibillity to spare a lot of money on this, if you buy logs from a general store, rimmington f2p is best for this, the logs is 12-13 each (can't remember) and there is a good enough firemaking spot there for beeng half the price of other players... only - is that you must be on f2p, and that you're bound to stay in the rimmington spot (as the lumbrigde isn't that good, but maybe there is logs in varrock, not shure though)

i was going to post something wise about xp/hour and money/hour now, but it seems like it's all said. when you can buy the slow things to do the fast things, then you get more time to do the fun things =) or known as... when you can buy 8[ores, ess, yews et cetera] then you can do [fletching/smithing/rc'ing] that leaves more time to do[barrows, kbd, steel drags et cetera]

i've always worked to keep my skills quite balanced. or,maybe not just becuase i find it best that way, but since i get tired quite easy, so training a single skill for days would have been difficult... and i've only done it a few times (fletching 13k willows non-stop to get 70 fletch ) mining 4k iron in a weekend, to get my smithing level for devious minds, and i think, today spending quite some hours training firemaking up 8 levels... this is not counting my barrows runs of cource, wich i could do for weeks or so :XD:

not too bad, not too bad :P nice one that, but nothing in that bank beats those hawt trousers!!! they'll help you stay alive :P

i'm a little suprised about the higest ones... seeng as i always though that fletching was #1 followed by cooking#2 with str/attack under that again.. but seeng that both strenght and attack is achieved by less people, i'm quite suprised! that really counts with attack, as i've seen countless more cooking and fletching capes that attack :/ and with cooking and fletching beeng the least "respected" (as long you can say that for getting 99) even though attack is greater than both :/
