  1. That world also has a clan chat called "w117 assists". To help advertising a clan chat might not be appreciated by other such chats, so I'm not too sure about that.. At the dungeoneering area people tend to sell assist whereas the clan chat is free, so that could be another issue.
  2. Hi Enjay Icon, Thank you for your submission! :) I have made changes regarding using Ancients Magicks for the boss fight in the Dream Mentor quest, and credited you. -- Pope_Durban, To answer your earlier question - you can simply create a thread in this forum to make submissions, like the OP of this thread has. I was aware of a safe spot existing near the lecturn, from where ranged and magic can be used against the second and third creature. Did you by any chance make any of those screenshots you're referring to? If you did please make a thread in this forum - this thread's topic has been resolved, so it will be locked. If you have any further questions, feel free to pm me. Thanks, Jafje.
  3. Hi SuzanneVega, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've made some changes to our item database and credited you. I'm going to lock this topic - if you have any further questions feel free to send me a pm. :) ~Jafje
  4. I just spun 3,600 flax, and did not receive a strange rock, so I'm either very unlucky, or you did indeed assume you got them this way. In the future it might help to screenshot anything significant to avoid a bit of confusion, but in any case I'd like to thank you for taking the time to share what was on your mind. ;)

I never kept track of profits while graahking, but for farming I would recommend you first do a tree run for willows to level to 32, and then do ranarr. The safest herbs would be to do toadflax or avantoe at the moment, combined with snapdragon or ranarr in the Trollheim patch (which requires My Arm's Big Adventure). Since toadflax requires level 38 I suppose you'd be best off leveling fast by tree and fruit trees and then farm toadflax and ranarrs. That said - Ranarr can be more profit, however is much riskier. You can do farming runs every 80 or so minutes.
  9. I'll look into it, nearly completed my statue, so give me a day. ;)
  10. Hi Judobreaker, Thank you for sharing your concerns. To answer your question - if you ask your slayer master (s)he'll tell you. I suppose the splash you saw was the rock exploding on impact. I'm going to lock this topic - if you have any further questions, feel free to pm me. ;) Cheers, Jafje
  11. Skillwise I would recommend doing herb runs combined with other skills. This can include anything from mining to slayer... Basically you could do any skill you enjoy doing, and do herb runs every 80 minutes. That will generate coins, although it might be slower than fishing rocktails or crafting nats for hours on end. :P If you want the quicker cash you could go for aviancies in godwars, or grind yourself some green dragons..... Among the methods you could apply: Graahking nature runes. Fishing monkfish or harpooning for tuna/swordfish at the fishing guild. Slayer. Woodcutting on yews, fletch and then alc (slow but meh) Aviancies at Godwars.

If you do your herb runs you will make up for costs - aside from that you could make supercompost on your herb runs which can generate additional profit. However doing this your herb runs will take much longer.
  13. Other than what you listed there would be no additional items required aside from a hatchet and some coins (optional).. Just made sure you've got one of each tool at your leprecaun and you'll always have what you need. ;) I would recommend you store your items at the leprecauns, and take them out when you need them (usually the tools you use per run would be in your inventory, but it always pays off to have them at you leprecaun). For teleports, it depends how you organise your run - this is what I do personally and what I teach in a farming guild: Daily fruit, tree and herb run: Start in Lumbridge and bring 5 saplings and 5 payments (payments can be noted). Teleports: house (when house in Taverly), Falador and Varrock. Lumbridge - Home/Lumbridge teleport. Taverly - house teleport (when house somewhere else, Falador). Falador - Falador teleport. Varrock palace - Varrock teleport. Banking could be done at the Grand Exchange to get fruit tree saplings and payments. No teleports required. Gnome maze fuit tree - Spirit tree from the Grand Exchange, then follow Elkoy. Gnome stronghold fruit tree - Spirit tree (after following Elkoy back to the tree). Gnome stronghold tree patch. Again here can be banked. If you have done Mourning's End part 1 you can access the Lletya fruit tree patch - in which case you can bring a teleport crystal. Otherwise an Ardougne teleport and a boat fare would be needed, along with a Camelot teleport. Brimhaven fruit tree - Spirit tree (83 farming, stranger plant familiar can boost at level 80 if you wish to have one there, otherwise Ardougne teleport). Calquat patch - run south from the last fruit tree patch. Lletya - teleport using a crystal. Bank again in Lletya, teleport to Camelot (or Catherby when on lunar) Catherby fruit tree patch. Catherby allotments/herb patches. Continue on herb run, whichever order you please. As a side note I would recommend getting an ardougne cloak 1 or 2 for an easy teleport to the bush patch south of Ardougne. Poison ivy is decent xp for minimal effort. You cannot pay for herbs. The only herbs that are protected from disease are the ones at the Trollheim patch. The safest would be to do toadflax or avantoe at the moment, combined with snapdragon or ranarr in the Trollheim patch. Minimal estimated herb profit can be calculated by taking the price of 5 herbs, and substracting this by the price of the seed. You could also multiply by 6 or 7 to estimate profit per runs. As for quests/achievements: Lumbridge achievement diary - explorer ring - easy teleport. Ghost ahoy - ectophial - easy teleport. Fairy tale part 1-3 -- magic secateurs (10% increased yield), magic watering can (unlimited water) Falador achievement med-hard - 10% additional experience at the Falador allotment/herb patches when wielding the shield. My Arm's Big adventure - herb patch that cannot be diseased. Ardougne achievement diary easy-med - cloak for teleport to bush patch (and for the cloak 2 one teleport to the ardougne allotments). Mourning's End part 1 - fifth fruit tree patch. Done spamming now, happy farming. ;)
  14. Mhm, interesting. It would appear Jagex has changed the form, as when I re-subscribed there was a lot more to fill in. The country appears on the top of the page "You are from (country x). If this is not correct, please select your country here" I also do not see an address box, so I can't help you there... However Jagex does have a billing support mail you may want to contact if this isn't resolved.
  15. Hmm.. I would look Here. If you've done any of the Quests listed there (upper level timelines), that's some fast kudos for you. Basically the guide shows you all your options, but the timeline would be fast if you've done your quests. ;)
  16. "You may now grind your way to a skillcape"
  17. I would say that it indeed is flawed - although a higher farming level may (or may not) give chance of a higher yield, in the farming guild I am part of, the herb record of a single patch was gained by a farmer in his high 70s. The highest herb yield I have ever had was in my low 80s (am 93 now), 18 herbs. The average yields of a mid and a high leveled farmer appears to be equal (with slight deviations). This is similar when setting fletching and firemaking objectives - for the highest levels this simply no longer goes.
  18. That, my friend, is a matter of opinion. ;) I personally find both SGS and whip+dfs quite effective in slayer, especially for those tasks that a little defence is required. The SGS isn't called the slayer's gs for nothing. :P Of course whip + defender is most effective also - as said, it is a matter of preference, and can depend on the tasks. As far as advice goes, the cheaper solution would be whip + defender. As stated any of the mentioned combinations would be preferred over having dragon claws for slayer (unless you only use them to spec, in which case you could keep them). Perhaps you'd like to try it out and see which works best for you as this obviously differs per person. :P For herblore and additional money farming will definetly work well for you, of that I think most people will agree on that one at least, as it is quick coins.

  21. If you're short on cash you could always spend some coins on herb seeds and farm herbs - either for profit or for your own use. This will safe a lot of costs. As for having claws... I would say they're a nice toy if you pk. Aside from the spec they aren't that good, but they have their use. A dfs could be desirable, others prefer using sgs (which would be the slayer's gs). Personally I would prefer sgs or a whip with dfs over having claws for slayer.

Mean mod, I hereby declare you purple. 347.
  24. The jungle strykewyrms are weak to ranged, though melee is fairly easy on them as well. Personally I range them and use SGS to heal, as this gives me an excuse to train ranged. As for set-up, armadyl or black dragon hide armour when you range. Any barrows, dragon or bandos if you melee. The usual slayer gear would apply. You won't need much food if you do either, just a few superanti's and you should be fine... Just make sure you're not burrowed. ;)
